Your Little Lies is an exciting domestic thriller. Hannah and Jasper move with their young daughter and dog to an oceanfront gated community called Silverbanks. Hannah is delighted to begin a fast friendship with neighbor Annabelle, although the reader may notice red flags. Then Hannah meets her next door neighbor Bryan, who she recognizes from her past. What follows is nonstop action and danger. There are a lot of coincidences in this book, and Hannah’s inner dialogue is somewhat repetitive. That said, this is a fast paced and exciting story with good character development, and highly recommended! With thanks to Netgalley and Storm Publishing for this ARC. My opinions are my own.

3* Required the suspension of far too much disbelief, unfortunately, though well written.
Sorry, but to justify the title of this review, there will be spoilers.
So Hannah, formerly Laurel, is in witness protection; her marriage broke up over this and now she's with Jasper and they have 8yo Pia. They've moved to what sounds like barely disguised Sandbanks, for safety. But, not only is the cop who was on her case her nextdoor neighbour, but the person who caused her to go into witness protection (who she cheated on her husband with, but hubby wasn't above whoring her out, so yeah, half a dozen of one, 6 of the other) has done his time, been released not only early but into this exclusive community's nursing home/end-of-life home. And she breaks protocol with both.
This was a bit too much to take in, and add in 2 connected people from the bad guy's circle who seemed to have all too easily orchestrated matters, and it made me sigh. But I ploughed on, as her new boyfriend seemed decent and some of the plotting was, too. But, his actions at the end threw a WTF? thing in at the end, that's not explained. Was he covering his own back or hers? Was this showing his devotion or obstructing justice?
I kind of wish the Laurel side of the tale had been abbreviated in parts and expanded in others, because the build-up to the cheating was too long and obvious and yet the going into witness protection was too skipped, as were the months leading up to losing her family. For all the expressed devotion to her little boy Declan, she totally forgot about him with a babysitter whilst she got her rocks off. Balance was off and the ending of Laurel was rushed.
Not a great book but not awful, though the coincidences were just too many to go with the flow with.

Your Little Lie is a psychological thriller by Sue Fortin. At first, I was intrigued, and the two story lines kept me reading. One is of Hannah, and one is of Laurel, but both are the same person. In the end, the ending fell flat for me. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC. 3.5/5 stars.

Thank you to NetGalley, author Sue Fortin and Storm publishing for the ARC and opportunity to review this book.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a very well done domestic thriller with many shocking twists. The last one I didn’t see coming at all.
There were some parts that I felt dragged on a little but the author made up for it with a gripping twist right after. It was suspenseful and realistic in the sense that this kind of situation has probably happened. It reminded me of an episode of criminal minds.
I would definitely recommend and look forward to reading other books by this author.

I was so excited to read Your Little Lies and it did not disappoint. Very well written, kept you guessing and great twists. Definitely add this one to your TBR

This read was great and definitely had me wanting more, it was hard to put down! I only noticed a few inconsistencies like chapter 27 Hannah states she needs to pick Pia up but cut to that same day in chapter 29, Jasper picked Pia up. At the part Jasper states he needs air, he is outside for hardly much time before returning inside and saying he needed air (again). Just little things like this I noticed, but aside from that it was a truly great read!

I really enjoyed this book by Sue Fortin, its a well written thrilling story. The story revolves around Hannah and Jasper a likable couple. When they move into their new house things start happening that makes Hannah think of her past which she had tried to forget and not told Jasper about. I recommend this book and look forward to this authors next book.

A fast paced thriller that completely reeled me in. Absolutely couldn't put this down until I completed reading it. I could feel the suspense and the panic. The confusion and emotions of the characters too came out well for me. It has some interesting characters and setting that build up the narrative.
The book manages to create several red herrings that made me make a couple of wrong guesses. It kept me on my toes to guess what was happening in the story. I like a book that packs a punch with its twists and this definitely did that for me. This is a well written thriller and I would absolutely go back and read more of the author's books.

My second novel by this author, I am hooked. I’ll be adding all her others to my To Be Read like. I devoted this book as quickly as I could. So good!

This had me hooked from the start.
I really enjoyed the alternating timelines between Hannah and her past self, Laurel, and the writing was so good that I felt for her with everything she was going through, even getting quite emotional for her at points!
Great twists and I really was kept guessing.
I’ll be looking out for more from this author.

Hannah, her husband Jasper and there daughter Pia are excited to move into their new home in a beautiful gated community but it's not long before things start to happen. Is someone from Hannah's past come back to ruin her life. She recognizes one of her neighbors and wonders if he remembers her. Hannah meets some people from the community and has even discovered a new friend but she feels like she is hiding secrets too, then late one night on the beach she finds a body and everything changes.
I wasn't expecting to enjoy this book as much as I did. The synopsis is very brief but the story is so much more . I couldn't read fast enough but I also didn't want it to end. It was great and the characters seemed like they could be anyone's neighbors.

Review:
Sue Fortin writes the most intriguing unputdownable domestic thrillers. I felt so many emotions while reading this. That's one of the main reasons I enjoy her books, you always feel something while reading it. However, it was predictable at times. Which wasn't a bad thing for this story. I was interested in seeing how it all played out in the end.
Thank you to NetGalley, Storm Publishing, & Author Sue Fortin for this ARC.

Hannah and Jaspers new house should be the place of their dreams. However when Hannah starts receiving messages and things start happening she wonders if her secret is about to be revealed.
A fast paced thriller which i raced through desperate to find out who knew about Hannah's past.

Thanks to net galley and the publishers for this arc.

What a fantastic book; an absolute page turner. This was so good that I couldn’t put it down. I did end up guessing the ending but this did not detract from my enjoyment of the book. I highly recommend reading this book.

this was the most jaw dropping psychological thriller i've read in quite awhile. when hannah and jasper move to a close knit coastal town, hannahs past life starts to catch up with her. there were so many twists and turns in this book i just had to keep reading. this book was so good with an ending i didn't see coming.
thank you to the publishers and netgalley for this ARC!

This book had a good pace to it, and I was entertained throughout the whole story (minus that it dragged on a bit towards the end). I also very much enjoyed Hannah/Laurel..

Thank you NetGalley for my ARC copy.
I loved this book. An easy read with lots of twists.
The main character Hannah/Laurel was very easy to connect to. I felt deep empathy for her story and was right there with her when things started to unhinge. Her husband was so relatable.
I won’t spoil the story or ending, but just that the last twist got me. That was one I didn’t see coming.
Well done Sue for writing a brilliant book

This is probably the best book I’ve read all year. I couldn’t put it down. I actually walked into a corner wall because I was so engrossed in this book and literally did not put it down until I was finished. It’s well written, attention grabbing, and full of suspense.
When Hannah, Jasper, and their daughter Pia move into an exclusive neighborhood they’re looking forward to their new life. She quickly becomes friends with a new neighbor, Annabelle. Another neighbor is from her past, a past she has kept hidden from Jasper. She plans on keeping it that way too until things slowly start to unravel around her.

Wow! I couldn't put this one down. This was a fast paced thriller with twists that kept me up reading late into the night! The author did a fantastic job of shifting between timelines laying the groundwork of the past and expertly weaving it into the present. This was my first book from this author but I'll be on the lookout for more! Add this one to your fall reading list for sure!

Your Little Lies was a solid addition to the thriller genre, which I’d classify as a popcorn thriller with some unique elements to keep a reader intrigued. Alternating between Hannah and her past self, Laurel, we learn why Hannah always has a sense of unease and hides away from new people, and what her life as Laurel was like compared to her present. The main mystery is of course the collision of her two selves, and this was well done and suspenseful.
What I didn’t love as much was that we had some twists after what was expected to be the climax which was as fully explored as it deserved given the reader is now facing a second climax so soon after the first. I also had a quibble about the events at the very end with the blouse, maybe it’s just me but I didn’t get it given the epilogue. Again, this may just be me, as despite these two things this book was well written and it’s build up and framing were very well done.
