Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea is the story of Violet, who along with his twin Luke, rents out the apartment behind her house to River, a mysterious boy.
I didn't finish this book. I tried. I read through it about 4 times, each time hoping to finally have that wow moment that makes you carry on reading and it just never came. I couldn't empathise with any of the characters and didn't believe the fascination that Violet had for River, especially when at times he isn't even that nice. And Violet was just a combination of the worst parts of Bella Swan, only more judgmental and a tiny bit pretentious along with it.
Did not finish. 1 star.

Since receiving this book my interests have changed, therefore I will not be reading or reviewing this title. Thank you.
