A Work in Progress by Sue Cleaver

'I've spent a lifetime feeling that I'm not enough or I don't belong. It's only now that I'm beginning to find my voice. I'm also aware that there is plenty for me to learn. I'm still a work in progress, but for the first time in my life, I have reached a point where I'm no longer hiding, and that feels good.'

I could have wrote this , and I m sure many others can also relate to the above statement.
I knew of the author , but hadn't really watched much of her work as an actress , but I found it really interesting and her advice on life very relatable.

What’s not to love about one of the TV screens most iconic women! I love Sue from all the things I’ve seen her in from the iconic Corrie to the jungle. What a well written book and light but also the tone was just right! I can’t wait to gift a copy of the physical book to Corrie fans I know!

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this book but I was pleasantly surprised.
I enjoyed learning more about Sue’s early life, but I preferred the second part of the book as it had more advice and experiences I could relate to.
I liked the fact that at the end of the chapters there were tips which I found really helpful.
An enjoyable positive read for middle aged women.
Thanks to NetGalley, Sue Cleaver and Bloomsbury Publishing for an advance copy in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

I absolutely love this book and I am so excited for it! I’m still quite young yet but reaching the age where you start to feel a bit forgotten in the race of life and I know Sues message and tips will help many a woman feel less alone and motivated to get on in life
