This was a great first book in a series about mermaids, Atlantia, Abbadon and more.
I found it to be fun, and as the chapters were short I flew though the book.
There's a glossary at the back which explains what terms mean and who characters are. I found this to be really helpful.
I love the fact that the main character Serafina has a pet octopuss. That's just so frickin cute!
I don't often hear a lot about mermaid books, but I always feel I was meant to be a mermaid myself, so that's probably another reason why I loved this book.
I've already ordered the sequel and I can't wait to see where it leads.
