This book is so cute! Well describing the daily of Lou, an active but cute toddle, I suggest.

When reading the book, I think about my boy who's 2 years old and become chattier day by day. While thinking about it, I feel the book have its own sound. I think I can hear how Lou speak and laugh. How he acts is definitely similar to my boy 😁

I enjoy the book so much until I don't realize the book is finished. I keep swiping, hoping there is more Lou's stories.

Young Lou Kort really IS fantastic! This little boy from Ontario will remind readers of the real-life preschoolers in their lives, alternatively hilarious and frustrating, especially for Lou’s older brother. Parents will love this illustrated book— a book that’s a cross between a picture book and a very, very early chapter book — even more than their offspring. Because these tales of everyday life with a young child are that good! A five-star read for young and old; readers don’t need a child as an excuse to have a fantastic read with Fantastic Lou.

In the interest of full disclosure, I received this book from NetGalley, Penguin Random House Canada and Tundra Books in exchange for an honest review.

Fantastic Lou is an adorable book about a little boy called Lou and his everyday adventures with his family and friends.
It is recognizable to all of us who have had kids or were kids! Definitely one to make you smile.

This is a cute set of cartoons based on Lou, and how he lives his life. How he reasons things. How he gets rid of built up energy at night. How he thanks the rain for watering the plants.

It is a short, quick book, but full of life’s humor when you have a young one.

I enjoy these type of slice of life where the kid is cute, but can be annoying as well, which is true in real life. Where you both love your kid, and hate what they do, such as wake you up at 5am because they are bored.

Thanks to Netgalley for making this book available for an honest review. This book will be published on the 28th of January 2025.
