⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was the first book I've read by Laura Pavlov and I had a great time reading it.

Emerson takes a 6 month contract as a pediatric doctor in Magnolia Falls after her engagement blows up. She moves in next door to Nash and little Cutler and the single dad, forced proximity tropes hit with full force. I really liked Nash and how much be put into raising Cutler, their relationship was really sweet and fun to read.

Nash and Emerson's relationship developed slowly, despite their clear attraction to each other. I did get frustrated at times and want to bang both of their heads together, but ultimately it was nice to use that time to properly get to know them as characters. A part of me wanted more drama with Emerson and the ex fiance and best friend, but it was all handled very maturely.

I really loved the found family aspect if this book, all the group chats with the guys was hilarious to read, and Cutler stole every scene he was in. It's definitely made me want to read the other books in the series.

I received a copy from Netgalley and am leaving an honest review.

Thank you HQ and NetGalley for giving me this ARC to review.

Fans of Elsie Silver and the Chestnut Springs series, let me introduce you to Laura Pavlov, her small town of Magnolia Falls and the Ride or Die brothers.

After having her life turned upside down, Emerson Chadwick escapes to the small town Magnolia Falls to escape the embarrassment and scandal. With the aim of keeping herself to herself for the next six months, Emerson assumes that Magnolia Falls will be a no-complication pit-stop before her next chapter in her new life. But when she meets her new patient and neighbour 6-year-old Cutler and his grumpy dad, Nash, remaining distant with the Magnolia Falls residents becomes too hard of a task. Soon Emerson has to face the question as to whether the small town really is a stepping stone to her new life, or the destined place for her to heal her broken heart.

Despite being late to the party and reading this fourth book in the Magnolia Falls series, I absolutely adored Emerson and Nash’s story and cannot wait to go back and read the others of this series. It is the perfect antidote for your Elsie Silver withdrawal with a gripping plot, beautiful writing and a Rie or Die gang you’ll be invested in and fall in love with.

It's another addition to the Magnolia Falls series and it was just as good at keeping me engaged. I really enjoyed Emerson and Nash's story and it did not disappoint. Single Dad romance is always yes in my opinion. I cannot wait for the next one!

nothing screams romance like a small town romance, and i ate this one up like i did every other.

nash and emerson’s relationship had me squealing and kicking my feet, they were just so sweet together. i loved the instant lust between them, how neither of them could deny their attraction and later, their feelings. normally i love a mixed communication trope but not in this book, i loved that both the characters were direct and honest and showed up for each other at every hard part.

the only thing that did bug me was cutler and now don’t come for me, i know he’s a 6 year old boy, which is part of what bugged me. i didn’t like how he called every female character “my girl” and tried to romanticise him with them all, it was just weird. i do think it was meant to come off as sweet but it just made me feel icky. and his dad saying he’s “got game”. just no.

but apart from that i devoured this book, i could not put it down. single dad? small town? found family? loved these tropes in this story. emerson’s relationship with her brothers, especially her twin brother was so sweet and refreshing to read and the RoD brothers? they have my entire heart

I squealed when this book hit my NetGalley shelf—I genuinely did a little dance around my kitchen. What a series this has been! I’ve loved every book, but I was especially excited for Nash’s story. I’m a sucker for a single dad romance, and Nash’s story did not disappoint.

This is a tale of a single dad who does it all. He’s a fiercely loving father, and now he’s just met the new doctor in town. Emerson, running from betrayal and a failed relationship, moves next door hoping to find herself again. Neither of them is looking for complications, but what happens when you fall for the girl next door who was never meant to stay?

The chemistry and sweetness between them is off the charts—it’s like a shot of syrup to the heart! What I love most about Pavlov’s writing is how she perfectly layers depth, emotion, and heat. The story is light when it needs to be, heavy when the soul requires it, and, my god, does the spice hit just right!

I also have to mention the kid! You can’t talk about this series without mentioning Beefcake. What a character! He melts your heart right from the start. I loved the dynamic of this found family, not just in this book, but throughout the entire series.

I've adored this series and much preferring these book cover to the others!

Beefcake has been a standout character since the first book, bringing a delightful mix of fun and charm to the series. I was thrilled to see him get his happy ending, and Emerson was an ideal match for him. From the start, Emerson fit right in with Beefcake’s circle, adding her own hilarious flair.

The chemistry between Emerson and Nash is electric, and their dynamic is heightened by their proximity as neighbors. Their initial attempts to avoid each other only intensify their connection.

The story’s progression was a joy to read. Nash, already a fantastic character, becomes even more endearing, and Emerson proves to be the perfect female lead. Their relationship is heartwarming, offering each other the comfort and support they need.

The bond between Emerson, Nash, and Beefcake is incredibly touching, and their interactions always bring a smile. The text messages between characters add a special touch, ensuring plenty of laugh-out-loud moments.

I love a small town romance and this book didn’t disappoint. I really like the MCs Emerson and Nash and their relationship.

Emerson has run away to Magnolia Falls to start over after a failed romance. She is a strong character and is really likeable . Nash is a single dad living for his kid, he is everything you want in a MMC.

I’m not usually a fan of kids in books but Beefcake was the cutest.

If you are looking for a small town romance with a bit of spice this is your book. I’m now going to go back and read the other books in the series as I’m invested in all the other characters stories and don’t want to leave Magnolia Falls.

Thank you to Laura Pavlov, HQ and NetGalley for this ARC

My favourite book in the series so far? Like, wow. Thank you, HQ stories and netgalley, for the earc.

I ate this up! And I read it ahead of release day. The single dad trope always gets me so good. Cutler the cutest kid with the biggest heart.

Emerson moves into town as the new small town doctor and is now living to next door to Nash and Cutler. The pull towards one and another is too much, and their romance flourishes.

I love the story it was well paced, the story was easy going and the romance was well built up. It was slower in comparison to Laura's other book and that's probably why I loved it so much.

They communicated fairly well which I appreciated. The spice was just right and perfect for Emerson and Nash.
I love the cameo of the group which made it so easy to read and go back to

I highly highly recommend this one
Read for
- dual pov
- single dad
- small town
-neighbours
- Winnie being the cutest dog

A few chapters into this book, I thought to myself “ooh this is gonna be a five star!” And sure enough it did not disappoint!

I devoured this book! It was so good!! I’m obsessed with Emerson and Nash and his little boy. Seeing them come together and not only fall in love with each other but also seeing Emerson fall in love with Cutler and love him as her own was adorable. They were such a cute family and the small town trope with the found/chosen family made everything even better!!

I’ve been wanting to read Laura Pavlov’s books for the longest time and this was just as good as I’d expect. BRB getting all her other books! So happy they’re starting to be read published in the UK.

A huge thank you to HQ for sending me an arc in exchange for an honest review.

The way I loveddddd this book!
I wanna be one of Beefcakes girls 🥹

But no seriously, I have been obsessed with this series since the first book come out but this is hands down my favourite so far and I don’t see the final book topping this.

I love Laura and her writing and I am yet to read a book of hers that I do not love! Now to patiently await the paperback release so I can have a trophy for my bookshelf.

This series has my heart!! Seriously, every single book has been an automatic 5⭐️ for me! The RoD crew is one of my all time favourite found families and this book just made me love them even more! 😍

I’ve been looking forward to Nash’s book since the very beginning because he is just the best Pops to Beefcake! 🥹 He has always put him first and it’s not even a sacrifice for him, because he just loves being his dad so much! I’ve loved Nash, the dad, and Nash, the friend, since the earlier books, but it was so good to just see Nash, the guy. I didn’t expect him to be so fun! How he treated Emerson and the way her took care of her needs was so intentional. Even though it started as casual, he was so considerate and I loved how he just slotted in so naturally with her family!

Beefcake has owned me from the very start, but I loved getting to know his full story and seeing him worry about his dad and dealing with a “different” home-life to some of his school friends. His relationship with Emerson was so pure and wholesome and I loved that he called her “my Sunny” 🥹

Emerson just became one of my favourites of the Magnolia Falls girls! She was so strong and smart, and it took major guts to pack up her life and start over in a new town. I loved her relationship with her family and I can’t wait for more of them! But I really loved how she just fit in with Nash and Beefcake. She was so thoughtful and I loved how much she missed little Beefcake even when he was just at school! Her love for that little boy was so obvious, and it melted me! 🫠

One of my favourite parts of single parent romances is when the other person falls in love with their kid first, and then falls for the parent. It’s so natural and sweet, and it makes the parent fall that much harder too! 🥹

I can’t wait to read Hayes book next and I am so excited for the Rosewood River series!! It was set up so well in this book and I can’t wait to see more of the Chadwick’s! 😍

Thank you Laura Pavlov and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

💓 Single dad
💓 Small town
💓 Neighbors to lovers
💓 Friends to lovers

Beefcake has been one of my favorite characters since the first book. He brings so much fun to the stories, and I was so excited for his dad to find his happy ending.

Emerson was perfect for both of them. Right from the start, she became one of Beefcake's girls. This kid is hilarious.

The chemistry between Emerson and Nash is undeniable, and even though they try to avoid it, it's hard to stay away from each other now that they're neighbors.

I loved how the story developed. I already knew Nash was an amazing character, but now I'm even more in love with him. Emerson was the perfect FMC, and I think they fit together perfectly, giving each other the comfort they needed.

The relationship between Emerson and Beefcake warmed my heart. Emerson, Nash, and Beefcake make the perfect trio.

Seeing this group of friends is always wonderful. Once again, I found myself laughing out loud multiple times. The text messages always guarantee some great moments.

This has definitely become my favorite series by Laura, and I can't wait for Hayes' story.

Thank you so much the publisher and NetGalley for sending me this ARC!

I’m finding it hard to put into words how much I LOVED this book.

I read it in one sitting because I found it impossible to put down. Nash and Emerson are everything, and this book is the epitome of Contemporary Romance perfection.

Perfectly paced and wasn’t predictable. Love that there wasn’t a third act breakup.

This is the single dad romance we have all wanted, and it is up there with one of my favourite books of the year.

This was a cute next instalment in the Magnolia Falls series!

It follows single Dad Nash, his son Cutler (aka ‘Beefcake’) and paediatrician Emerson.
Emerson is new to Magnolia Falls having moved from San Fransisco after catching her fiance cheating with her best friend since childhood. Looking for a temporary stop whilst she makes a fresh start, Emerson takes over from Magnolia Falls longtime Doctor and first meets Nash when he takes Cutler in for an appointment. They don’t exactly hit it off initially, but she then moves in to the house next door to them with her dog Winnie, and grows closer and closer to both Nash and Cutler.

There was quite a bit of the previous couples and characters from the series as well, so if you’ve enjoyed their stories I think you’ll like this one.

This was an easy, low angst read, and I really enjoyed seeing how Cutler and Emerson’s relationship developed too. She was so great with him from the start.

Thank you to the author and Netgalley for this arc in exchange for my honest review.

This book was an absolute delight, capturing my attention from the very first page. The combination of a single dad, enemies to lovers, small town, and found family themes is executed brilliantly. As a fan of the single dad trope, I was particularly excited to dive into Nash's story. Throughout the series, Nash has always been a compelling character, but this book allowed us to truly appreciate the amazing man and father he is. Emerson is a beautiful character, and her relationship with Nash is heartwarming and full of chemistry. Their bond is enriched by Emerson's adoration for Nash's son, Beefcake, whose presence is a true delight throughout the book.

The Magnolia series has consistently impressed, with each book surpassing the last, but Nash’s story, featuring the adorable Beefcake, truly shines. Emerson and Nash’s beautifully written story showcases significant character growth and a heartwarming family dynamic. The anticipation for this book was immense, and it exceeded all expectations, making it my favourite in the series. Bravo to the author for delivering such a captivating and beautifully written story; I am forever grateful for this wonderful read.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for letting me review this ARC

Netgalley, you did me a solid with this one. When I saw this I ran to request.
I have loved the magnolia series so far and every book has just got better and better but there was a secret part of me holding out for Nash’s book.

Because… beefcake. This boy has stolen every book so far but he was the star in this. This is hands down my favourite child character in a book. I’d like to adopt a beefcake.

I loved Emerson and Nash’s story… loved the character growth from both of them and really liked her family and how much it mirrored the RoD boys.

Such a good book! Can’t wait to listen to the audio!
