Whenever a new Josie Quinn mystery comes out- I am so excited to revisit my favorite detective and see what Josie and her gang are up too! I love how with each new installment, the reader can witness as the characters slowly develop. I'm intrigued by the new detective on the team, Turner. I'm pretty certain he has some great back story. Lisa Regan creates the best plots with twists that usuallymanage to surprise me. "Remember her Name" definitely had some twists and turns that kept me engaged and guessing.
would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for letting me read this awesome book
where to start with this one..... its so good
starting at the beginning josie is a rookie and this has her running out of a crime scene to vomit....thats how green she is...
its the old boys club she is battling against where she sees her fellow officers abuse their power but even though she complains about them they are protected......
now back in present day times josie is still working with douchebag.... and hating it but hes her partner so she has to make it professional even if she wants to strangle him at times
josie gets called to a scene where a baby has been left with no signs of its mother.... but once at the scene things dont add up and once they find a polaroid with hints to a crime scene things start to move forward....
its a puzzle that hints to things that are slowly unravelling in josie mind ... can she unravel the clues before a dead body shows up....
its a tense thriller that keeps you glued right to the very end... but what a ride... there are some tender moments that bring tears to your eyes but on the whole you are on the edge of your seat with this one
Once again Josie and Noah are up to their eyes in trouble.
I can’t believe this is book 21 and once again Liza Regan has nailed it.
I loved every twist and turn of this story but I am getting short of ways to say it.
If you’ve never read any of Lisa Regans books, then it’s time to start. You won’t be disappointed.
Thank you to Netgalley and the author for the opportunity to read and review this book.
Remember Her Name
Detective Josie Quinn
Book 21
Josie quickly realizes something is terribly wrong when she encounters an abandoned baby stroller in city park with a newborn infant inside… She knows terrible evil has come to Denton when she finds a Polaroid picture smeared with blood on one corner among the baby’s blankets… to make matters worse, the Polaroid Killer’s trail of terror only began with the abducted new mother…
Josie and the team continue finding obscure Polaroid pictures at each crime scene… and it becomes a race to figure out the link between the victims in order to prevent more lives from being taken.
This book is full of twists and turns!
Reflection
I thought I was invested in the Denton players before Book 21. NOW, I’ve also started to see a sliver of the Douchebag’s charm… and I cannot wait to see what comes next.
Some of you may be aware, I am still working my way through the Full Collection of Detective Josie Quinn books. I find Lisa Regan’s writing style to be not just effective for the thriller genre, but also welcoming to NEW READERS! Anyone who likes thrillers and is not sure what to pick up next, should try this series (pick any book in the series)… and see what you think.
NOTE: EVERY series is not developed such that each novel is solid enough to potentially standalone. Again, you can choose to start at any place 😉
REMEMBER HER NAME is no exception—it could certainly stand on it’s own!
It is packed with surprises! There are no simple
explanations you can see coming from 10 chapters ahead. It is constantly one step forward and two steps back during the investigation which made this book TRULY SUSPENSEFUL!
Book 21’s killer dangles those Polaroids and every time we think we know something… we quickly see our theories do not hold up!
This is a FUN book to read, if you don't mind white-knuckles!

4.5, Lisa Regan's Josie Quinn series going super strong at #21 - already can't wait for the next one and to find out more about the newest team member! Josie books are an automatic read for me for a reason - they consistently deliver.
Thanks to Bookouture and Netgalley for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
This story grabbed my attention and was hard to put down and I was sorry to see it end. Josie Quinn had a sharp mind and great recall which helped a lot in solving things. There were a lot of characters involved and I did get confused once or twice but overall it was a great read and I can’t wait for another one of this authors books.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The latest in the Detective Josie Quinn series does not disappoint! This is a face paced keep you guessing to the very end. The twists and turns keep you on the edge of your seat. And… finally we start to see Turner starting to actually be a part of the team, maybe he can redeem himself after all. Love that Josie and Noah are still going strong and our team is starting to heal!
My thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read ‘Remember Her Name’, book 21 in the Detective Josie Quinn series written by Lisa Regan, in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
A baby is found abandoned in Denton’s City Park with blood smears on its diaper bag and a Polaroid photo in the stroller. Detective Josie Quinn and Lieutenant Noah Fraley search for the mother, Cleo Tate, but they’re too late as her body is found at Cold Heart Creek where a second photo is discovered giving the location of the killer’s next victim. Josie suddenly makes a connection between this and a crime scene she investigated as a rookie and the race is on to find who they now call “The Polaroid Killer” before more photos, and victims, are found.
‘Remember Her Name’ is the next highly anticipated instalment in this amazing series from an author who has the ability to write an exciting fast-paced twisty thriller that contains intrigue, suspense and drama, with tension that increases as the story progresses and the body count rises. I’m surprised Detective Kyle Turner is still working with them as he’s so annoying I’d have had him removed and replaced with someone who’s polite to his senior officers and isn’t glued to his phone, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens to him in book 22. I like how Josie’s family members are included, and especially liked the scene between Trinity and Drake that I found really touching, and can’t wait to find out if Josie and Noah are finally accepted as adoptive parents. I’ve been engrossed in the plot from start to finish although I admit to having been confused at times by the number of characters involved, but the final chapters have more than compensated leading to an exciting and fitting conclusion.
This book was so AMAZING! I just so love Josie and all her friends, the mystery was entertaining and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole book! The storyline was as always well done, with lots of twists and full of suspense! I would highly recommend this book and series to everyone!!
This has become my favorite series! I love the way the characters develop gradually feom book to book and each story is suspenseful and so well written! I love the relationships Josie has with each character. I can't wait to find our more about the newest detective! Thank you Lisa Regan for another great book!
Well... Once again I am pleased to report that I have never been disappointed by a Josie Quinn novel. Remember Her Name is #21 in the series and another race against the clock to solve a seemingly unsolvable crime for Josie and her team.
Here is what I loved:
1. We dove deeper into the new character Turner but we are still left wanting to know more.
2. We see Josie as a rookie in flashbacks.
3. We revisited some cases from previous books in this scavenger hunt format that was very fast paced.
4. We got more family stuff- involving Trinity and Drake (I won't elaborate because-spoilers!).
5. Lisa Regan's usual ability to write stories that make reading them effortless and spellbinding.
How can you not keep binging on this series??
Thank you to Netgalley, Bookouture, and Lisa Regan for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Ahhh I think this may be my favorite Joise Quinn book yet. I randomly found this series back in April & I’ve binged it since! I think my favorite element is that it’s all realistic. The plot twist isn’t some random thing that nobody could guess, each book the answers are right in front of me if I choose to look for them! This book was in a fun league of its own, because we were getting to go back in time and remember some of the past mysteries. I’m obsessed with this series and now I can’t believe I don’t have any more to go.
I love it when old cases surface. and a nemesis from the past reappears. When you also know the Detective and her team well, it is just a perfect combination. I absolutely loved this book! This is a great plot, taking the reader back to the beginning of Josie's career, back to some dodgy cops, and a strange case that the police team screwed up investigating.
There is a lot of good banter, strong feelings, and surprises in Josie's life. I don't feel like I can write a review worthy of this book, so I think you have to take my word for it that this is a book you have to read! Five big shiny stars.
My first foray into this author's work, I think.
I thought it worked well as a police procedural thriller with all the right twists, characters and pace.
Found it a little slow going at first but worth sticking with.
This was a book that you had to pay very careful attention to. It was full of action and reflected well on how Quinn uses her mind and her physicality to get herself out of situations.
When a murder brings Josie back to one of her earliest cases, she can't help but feel that she is somehow linked. When others tie to cases that she or her husband have worked on, Josie stars to suspect that she missed something vital. The killer continues to leave clues, but what he wants them to know remains a mystery.
The cases then become a tangle of new identities, mistaken identity and the possibility that a killer was allowed to go free. At times I found some of the crime scene information a little graphic, but mainly down to the age of the victims. I also find some of the risks that are taken a little unbelievable considering the experience of the officers, but they make a great story. I also appreciate how the outdoors always plays into these stories
I did like the subplot of the family interaction and the continued revelation that her colleague Turner may have more to him than meets the eye.
I look forward to the next installment in the series.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to provide my opinion.
Thanks to new
Remember Her Name, Josie Quinn book 21, by Lisa Regan.
Remember Her Name tosses Josie into the hunt for a killer that is targeting people seemingly involved in, or even just related to those involved in, one of Josie's first cases as a rookie on the force. Mistakes were made and a killer is on the loose. Will Josie and her family be the next target?
This is a page turner, start to finish. And, we get to know a little more about the latest detective on the team, Turner, throughout. I'm still deciding if I love him or hate him. Five stars.

Another excellent book by Lisa Regan , number 21 in the Detective Josie Quinn series. She is investigating the murder of a young mother and you cannot stop reading it once you have started, until the final pages with twists and turns.
There aren’t enough words to say how great this book was! Every time I thought I had it figured out…I. Was. Wrong! This might be Lisa’s best yet! Cannot wait for the next!
Holy smokes! Be warned, this series is highly addictive. After 20 books you might expect a series to be a bit repetitive, but that is not the case with the Josie Quinn series.
This installment was fast paced and filled with multiple gritty scenes. With only a few cryptic clues, Josie and the Denton PD race to solve the mystery before the next body is added to the equation. The team is slowly getting used to their newest member, Detective Turner, but they are still experiencing some growing pains and personality conflicts which leads to an intriguing dynamic. The ending made me hold my breath! There was more than one jaw dropping twist as the suspense built up! Such a fantastic read. Thank you to Bookouture for the opportunity to read an early copy. All thoughts are my own.
A deadly chase led by snapshots: unpredictable👍
4.5🌟stars
Josie Quinn, the policewoman lead in this series, has plenty of bad memories and this book in the series brings back more, in this instance mostly related to when she was still a rookie cop. A series of murders of random women by a "Polaroid killer" aren't so random after all. Josie keeps getting drawn back to an old case she helped bungle in her quest for the current killer who's stalking victims in Denton, a fictional college town in Central Pennsylvania.
The murder investigations are a well put together plot, but what intrigued me the most was unpopular Kyle Hunter, a detective colleague of Josie's who seems glued to his phone and a bit of a rogue element. I am just waiting for the book in the series that finally exposes his secrets.
In general, the story has a good focus on the crime solving but includes enough detail of Josie's personal life to make her a three dimensional personality. There are some hairy, scary, dangerous scenes with action and suspense and, I will admit, the author kept me guessing and surprised by one revelation after another. Unpredictability is what I like in this genre and author Lisa Regan delivered in Remember Her Name.
What the plot has to do with the book's title? I couldn't figure it out but it didn't matter because I just enjoyed the story.
Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for sharing a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.
