This is the third book in the series and the story of the youngest Moore sibling.

The plot follows the story of Elizabeth who is trying to find herself after realising the father she grew up with is not her father.

There were appearances from characters from the previous books and the popular Mike Hunt. His escapades will make a delightful book.

I enjoyed the interactions between Felix and Liz, especially their first encounters. There were many funny moments interspersed throughout the book.

I loved the relationship between Felix and his mother and his friendship with Jack. Those Portuguese speaking moments were delightful.

If you love family dramas, love and sphinxes then you will enjoy this.

Well, this was a nice and spicy treat for me this week!! I also made the mistake of listening to this on audio....and then the mini one walked past at the completely wrong moment!! I loved this book, haven't read the other 2 books, need to. They are all self-contained with characters in and out from other books and all it has done is make me want to go back and read the other 2.

My first intro to Ms Hudson and it was great! I love this type of book, but the fact that the first meeting between the main two didn't go so well was just added extra! Watching them then having to live together in a condo near NASA, was brilliant. You can always tell where these books are going to go, but for me, I don't mind that, because it's the journey we go on and what I become invested in. Felix (awesome name too) was just the best guy. Ok, so obviously some moments he spoke before he thought, but I found him wholesome with so much spice. He was a gentleman and caring and I loved that despite what had happened to him with his ex, he didn't let it tarnish the next relationship.

I really enjoyed this sizzle and spice and look forward to many more!!!

My Opinion

I have read this as a standalone and whilst there was obviously bits of the back story I have missed I felt I had enough information to enjoy Anyone but the Superstar. This book has taken me a few days to read due to other commitments but whilst I wasn't reading it I was still thinking about the characters.

Sara was a new author to me going into this, so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from the writing, but I definitely got an enjoyable read. If you need a laugh then this book will definitely provide.

Elizabeth is the youngest of the Moore dynasty but that all changed when she learned the truth of herself a year ago. Now she is Anne and trying to distance herself from her society family. Working as an intern on a movie set at NASA she meets Hollywood star, Felix.

Felix has his own set of issues and honestly you wouldn’t think these two would work but they do. They are funny and cute at the same time! I love that Liz (yes the names confused me at times too) understood Felix. Growing up in “society” was not easy and like stars you get thrust into the limelight a lot regardless of whether you want to be there.

The chemistry is great but I wouldn’t say it was off the charts. Honestly it was the comedy that I enjoyed the most. Not to mention the sphinx named Mike Hunt. I’m not kidding that is the cat’s name. All in all this is a great read.

A cute rom-com that had me laughing throughout. I liked the meet-cute. I loved the familial interactions. I enjoyed the original story line. While the cat jokes were funny in the beginning, I did find it tedious and repetitive after a while.

This fun-filled, spicy romantic story is set in Houston (Space City) in Texas and has originality, humour and heat. It is the third book in a series, and I preferred to have read the previous two books to appreciate the familial dynamic fully. I like the setting, the connection between the main characters and the many humorous moments.

A very entertaining story that was easy to read. There was plenty of great banter between the main characters, in what was a sweet romance. The glimpses of fame don’t detract from the personal issues that they both faced and I enjoyed seeing how they balanced their past with their budding romance.

This has been a good series, and I really wanted to know what would happen with Liz. She is a great character, and I really wanted her to get her happy ending. Her story is complicated and pretty hilarious. She has no idea who the superstar is until they end up on the movie set together. And she has no idea that she is going to end up cat-sitting for Mike Hunt, who steals every scene he is in. And there is no way she could have anticipated geting caught in someone else's blackmail scheme. It is full-on insanity in Houston. However, she makes some new friends (old friends for readers who read the Space series) who are ready to help out, and her family pulls through in a fun way. This is now my favorite in the series.

If you're looking for a lighthearted romance with a bit of spice, good chemistry between characters and a couple of hilariously named pussies then this is the book for you!

I wasn't too sure about this book when I started, thinking it would be about a spoilt rich socialite who I'd never relate to whatsoever. I was wrong, Liz was a breath of fresh air for this character trope. Her humour, her witty banter, and her entire demeanour just made me instantly like her as a character. Felix wasn't too bad either...
In all honesty, the chemistry was there, and I was rooting for their happily ever after all the way to the end.

Anyone but the Superstar by Sara L. Hudson is a book about two main characters, Felix Jones and Elizabeth Moore. Felix, the celebrity, comes to Texas to shoot his first romantic film while Liz is running away from her family and needing to find herself after the unpleasant discovery about her origin. They met casually thanks to their carefree natures, only to end up hating and suspecting the motives of each other. Meeting once again and working together does not help the situation, not to mention the confusion that led them to have to stay together too. Things are made worse by Felix's manager having to go away and straighten the wrongs that Felix has been doing lately. Although they have a soft spot for each other, things get more complicated as days pass. To find out what the future holds for these two, read the book Anyone but the Superstar by Sara L. Hudson.

I like the manner in which each character narrates their side of the story. It allows the readers to peek into the main characters' minds, making the book exceptionally fascinating. Moreover, I like the hilarious scenes, especially those related to the cat; they are making the book a unique romcom.

The beginning of the book seemed vague; I didn’t quite understand some of the narrations the author was trying to convey. I also didn’t like Liz as a character; she is too carefree, but some readers might like that trait in her.

I rate this book Anyone but the Superstar by Sara L. Hudson 4 out of 5 stars for the above reasons.

I recommend this book to those readers who like rom-coms centered on celebrities and their way of life. They will find this book intriguing. I also recommend it to those who love pets; they will enjoy this book immensely.

Anyone but the Superstar was a fun romantic comedy following Elizabeth Anne Moore, the daughter of the renowned Moore family. Liz is on a journey of discovery after discovering her father is not her biological father. Liz takes on a job as an intern storyboarder on a movie set at NASA in Houston. There she has a chanve romantic encounter with the man who turns out to be the male lead of the new movie. After a romantic encounter takes a turn for the worst, Liz hopes to dive into her work until she realizes the male lead was the same man. Felix has been unable to stop thinking about the unfortunate encounter. He has been burned by women before and is worried that the mysterious Anne that he met is no different. However, after they are forced to co-habitate, feelings begin to spark and both of them realize they misjudged the other. As they start to get closer, both of them allow their insecurities bleed into their relationship.

This story was a fun, sweet romcom. Liz/Anne was a sweet character who has had a rough time lately. She has always just wanted to be loved and the news of her family not being what she thought, shook her to her core. She responded by pushing her loved ones away and not dealing with the issues. Her insecurities and anxieties are relateable. Felix is an actionstar in Hollywood who just wants to break out into other roles. A romantic comedy will allow him.to show other skills. He is a total cinnamon roll.

Even though the book revolves around a movie filming, there is very little time spent there with the characters. Instead, the author focuses on the forced proximity issue which naturally strengthens the attraction between the two. What ensues is the characters growing closer and acting on their attraction. However, the life of a movie star is in the public spotlight and the secrets they both kept from each other, catch up. The romance of the characters was sweet. While it might have started off spicy pretty quick, the author douses you with a bucket of water for a bit. This allows them to build all that tension and heat back up again.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and the characters and would definitely recommend.

Mike Hunt is once again involved in the creation of another couple. This time it's the lost sister Liz and the film actor Felix. A sweet love story about finding yourself, full of family drama, laughs, and a hairless pussy.

This story is full of situational humor, most involving a hairless cat named Mike Hunt, and plays out with NASA headquarters being used as a set for male lead Felix's current movie project. Elizabeth Ann Moore, the artist female lead who's hiding her previous socialite identity as part of a year of finding herself without the trappings of her famous, wealthy family, has quite a strong, stroppy personality which comes through right from the opening, weirdly hazardous, meet-cute night of passion. Felix has his own gossip mongers and secrets to deal with, but I really liked his down-to-earth attitude despite his stardom, his clear devotion to his mother, and the way he adapts to the situations and challenges Ann/Liz throws his way as they deal with close proximity, Ann's appalling inability to cook, and overcoming his traumatic aversion to cats.

I did not find the peccadillos LOL funny, but it's a cute story. I'm not certain why, but the plot did not draw me in as I had hoped and it took longer to read and appreciate than I anticipated. Very spicy at times (more than I needed) but I did like the principal characters and Ann's family, particularly young niece Mary. The couple's troubled crisis and the resolution at the end were my favorite parts of the story, but the opening hotel room disaster was right up there as well. The cat was okay but maybe a bit too present. I understood most of the Portuguese dialogue but some translation clues would have been helpful.

Anyone But The Superstar is a fun, steamy ideal summer read. Not bad, but not super exceptional either. For one thing, there was no depth to any of the characters, in my opinion, apart from the sphinx Mike Hunt. But even though I'm a cat lover, there were way too many cat related jokes.
I didn't realise that this was a part of the series, but really, it didn't matter very much. Yes, the characters show up, but not knowing them didn't hinder my reading experience. The story was simple and easy to follow, and the spice was alright.

You will laugh while reading Anyone But The Superstar!

Anne (Elizabeth Anne Moore) intended to use her year away from her family to figure out her future after finding out that she wasn’t actually a Moore and her “father” had stolen her trust. Now she was an assistant for a movie set at NASA to finish her master’s degree in graphic design.

Felix Jones was trying to change his image from action star to romantic comedies but he never expected to meet Anna at the local bar introducing himself as Johnny before the movie started filming because she was making jokes about her brother’s cats.

You will love reading Anyone But The Superstar because of all of the laughs about the hairless sphinx because it was just a fun read where neither character takes themselves seriously.

P.S. Now I was to read the books about the brothers.
