Anyone But The Superstar by Sara L. Hudson is a dual PoV romance that includes a lot of fun lines, frequent use of the word pussy, and managed to make me laugh out loud more often than not.

Liz (Anne) goes into a bar and her conversation is overheard by Johnny (Felix) and when she doesn't immediately recognize his superstar self, he is intrigued. She's more concerned about meeting her just found about half-sister and ends up taking a job on Johnny's film set to meet her casually, hopefully taking the pressure off of the situation. Johnny is trying to grow as an actor and out-grow the not so great reputation he has. Together they make a terrific couple with plenty of banter.

I will admit that the use of pussy makes me cringe, and I am one million percent a cat person! It's just been ingrained as an ugly word to me, but I was able to overcome my own dang self and see how the author used this as a humor device.

Loved the story, the characters and I plan to read the rest of the series.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC. All opinions are my own.

I couldn't put this book down.

I love Ms. Hudson NASA series, and this series has been a fun ride, but this book mixing them together!! Screaming excitement, I was laughing so much throughout the story with all the crazy lovable characters and the insane situations. I was cheering all the way for "Anne and Johnny" but the depth that Ms. Hudson could bring to Felix while introducing him in this story and the deeper thoughts behind what was happening in Liz's mind really brought this story home.

Cute romance with some steamy scenes. A little predictable but a good summer read with some funny elements including a numbing condom!

Johnny is filming his first rom-com.    He doesn't want to be type-casted as an action star.   Anne was an heiress to NY's dynasties.   They met in a bar and fall for each other.

Love Johnny and Anne.   Love the LOL scenes and how they met.    It's filled with fun and joy.  It's an entertaining read. The steamy scenes are done well too and that's actually quite hard to do.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

Omg as usual Sara had me CACKLING!!! Mike Hunt and his hijinks continue lmaooo with baby sis Liz's book! Love this crazy family and their cats 🤣🤣🤣 and am sad its over I would read another whole series on just Mike Hunt's shenanigans💀🤣. I loved the relationship between him and his agent bestie Jack too hahaha I'm still laughing over him calling him ED Santa because of the gift he gives him at the bar. The chemistry was there right off the bat with them which I loved but had to take a star off because of the blow up that happened, I really couldn't get over it but did love how he made up for it, super swoon.

A cut above the usual - entertaining, delightful, funny, simmering, steamy, and everything a good romcom should be. Solid characters, secrets, family issues, snark, astronauts, finding what is really important - and yes, a sphynx steals the show. A fun read, I may read it again just because ...

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this book!!!! I've enjoyed this whole series, but this book might be my favorite. The meet/cute was great, and what followed had me laughing out loud.

The characters are fantastic, from the rich girl Liz, to the misunderstood superstar, Felix. One thing that I really like in this author's books is that she creats strong and intelligent female characters. Liz is in a quandary, wanting to meet her astronaut half sister, while also being afraid to meet her. She secures an internship as a storyboarder for a movie set at the space station, thinking an informal meet might be best. Instead, she's thrown together with the movie star, who has a naughty reputation. What follows is laugh out loud funny along with poignant moments.

Fans of the genre will love this book. While part of a series, this is a stand alone novel, however it's so good that you really owe it to yourself to read them all. The author is on my must read authors' list. I wish i could give this book more than 5 stars...
