I received a free copy of, Lessons in Love at the Cornish Country Hospital, by Jo Bartlett, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This is book four of four in The Cornish Country Hospital series. Wendy Tyler husband cheated on her and got his affair partner Chloe, knocked up. I did not care for Chloe at all, Wendy was lovely though.

Thanks Netgalley and the Publisher. This was a lovely read, the characters were great as was the storyline. I would recommend.

This is such an awesome series and this was another fantastic addition to it. This time we go through Danni's pregnancy with her, and watch a surprising friendship develop between Wendy and Chloe (Mike's new girlfriend). As usual, there's lots of love and laughter, as well as a few truly difficult and hair-raising moments, all dealt with beautifully with Jo's outstanding writing. My only complaint ... we didn't really find out much about Aiden and Jase's surrogate pregnancy journey! And I'm dying to see those two become parents! Anyway, it was great to catch up with the rest of the gang too and I can't wait for the next installment.
Thanks to Netgalley, Boldwood Books and Jo Bartlett for a free ARC in exchange for an honest review.

JO Bartlett does it again, another great read in another great series. I loved Jo's Midwife series and now I love the Hospital series. All the characters are so likeable and relatable and there is a great connection. I raced through this in a weekend, it was like a warm cosy hug for the soul.

Not my usual genre but I thoroughly enjoyed this book even though I haven't read the previous ones in this series.
I soon got involved with the characters which made it an enjoyable experience and I can thoroughly recommend this book.
Thank you to Netgalley and Boldwood Books for this ARC.

The fourth in the series set in beautiful Cornwall. Once again Jo isn’t afraid to tackle issues which include eating disorders and baby loss. Lovely to catch up with familiar faces.

This is the fourth book in the ‘Cornish Country Hospital’ series.
This book is about motherhood, step motherhood, family and friend relationships.
I have never read a book by this author before so was apprehensive reading the fourth in the series, but I did not feel like I missed anything from the previous books, or confusion.
I loved the characters and felt like I was living in the book.
Very emotional and I was gripped the whole way through, such a heartwarming nov- also heart stopping in places!

Oh wow this book had all the emotions from happy, love, crying like a baby, sad and joy.
I haven't been able to put this one down.
To be honest it had a slow start in the way some amazing ones do with the reader not knowing which way the story is going to happen. But in the end it didn't disappoint. It is such a lovely story and makes your heart feel warm and fuzzy till the absolute heart breaking part that had me crying so much I had to put it down for a few minutes as couldn't see the words. But so glad it had a happy ending.
You can feel the love pouring out of this book from beginning to end.

The latest book in the Cornish country hospital series gives the same greys anatomy vibes you feel through the other books.

Lessons in Love at the Cornish Country Hospital was charming, funny, emotional and a fantastic read. I have not read any of the others in this series but found it held up well as a standalone (although i'm now itching to go back and read the others).
Filled with wonderful characters, some pretty heavy themes and lots and lots of love - I adored the country setting and the side of medical drama. I thought it was well written, and although sad at times, it was a very heartwarming read. 4 stars.

Read and reviewed in exchange for a free copy from NetGalley. I love this series and was delighted to see the ARC of Bartlett's latest instalment just weeks after finishing the last one. I blitzed through it in hours. As ever, this was an enjoyable read written with both humour and heart. I enjoyed seeing Danni again and thought Wendy's story was interesting, and as ever, I loved the cameos from characters in the Cornish Midwives series. Although I felt certain issues were glossed over and not explored as much as they could have been, I still enjoyed the book a lot.

Another installment in this series and it was nice to revisit some old characters and learn more about others. There are some heavy hitting topics which did become a little extreme and far fetched towards the end but still really enjoyable.

This is the fourth book in The cornish country hospital series.
A return to old charectors and some new ones.
Wendy's ex husband has traided her in for a younger model thats only a few year older than there oldest daughter and is pregnant .
Wendy works at St Pirans hospital and bumps into Chloe her exs new partner and clearly shes upset.
Her daughters love to spend time more with chloe than with her and when one of them finds her in pain the first person they go to is there mum.
Just as good as the other books in this series.
Even brought a tear to my eye how the story evolves and how fragile peoples lives can be.

Another in this series. Although still enjoyable, this one felt a bit fat fetched even for me. But, I still found the latest installment worth it.

The latest installment from Jo Bartlett is here! Lessons in Love at the Cornish Country Hospital was a great read, just as I expected.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the advance reader copy of this book. I want to state up front that I DNFed 11% of the way through after realizing it contained subject matter I'm particularly sensitive too.
What I did read of of this book really built a foundation of motherhood and love. It established 2 POV characters in stable relationship, though with a lot of instability in their pasts, and I can see these pieces all coming together in a heartfelt story.
Danni who is pregnant with her first child but dealing with maternal let down in her past. Wendy - whose ex's new partner, Chloe, is pregnant - is dealing with her emotions around that, and Chloe's relationship with Wendy's own children.
The writing is excellent if not a little summary heavy at the start, but that makes sense for a book in an established series
Trigger warning for Eating Disorders

Absolutely loved it. Back with old and new characters . It was well written and I did read it in one sitting. Gosh you felt for Chloe. Sometimes you got cross with Wendy for not appreciating what she had. You can read alone. but better to have read the rest. I loved the A and E staff. A sad read at times but Jo Bartlett is a great writer and covers delicate subjects well. Read it.
