It was a decent read, but I was not vested in it since I have not read books 1 & 2. Any book situated in Scotland is always intriguing, if you get the descriptors right, of the people, the locale, etc... and this book delivered on that.
The plotline itself was okay, well paced, and there is finally a hea here.

Thank you NetGalley and publisher for this arc!
What a good book! I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. This is a first by this author but will not be my last! I read this in one sitting because I just couldn’t put it down.
Ready for your next women’s fiction read? Try out A Highland Family Affair. It was a great read. You won’t regret it.
Olivia is worried when her wayward brother shows up at the family home, a Scottish Castle, expecting him to make trouble for the family yet again. I was initially concerned that the plot was a little obvious but it turned out that I was wrong. It was not the most challenging read but ultimately it was a feel good story that I enjoyed. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review & I would recommend it as a relaxing holiday read.
Another great book from Lisa,I read the other 2 books in this series so was looking forward to meeting the characters again and I do love a book set in Scotland too. Olivia was running the castle alongside her fiancé Brodie and we last left it where her brother Kerr was causing problems. He arrived back and wanted to turn over a new leaf but you were left wondering if he would. Olivia hired a new PA and Kerr had his eyes on her so you were hoping all would come good for him. Olivia and Brodie had their wedding to look forward to and there were twists and turns along the way. I just love getting immersed in the characters lives and the setting. Was sorry when the book was over. I felt there could have been be another book in the series but alas. A great read, couldn’t put it down.
Cute but not the best, I did enjoy the sibling relationship in this book along with the setting. I felt bored at times and wish there was more intrigue for me in the story line. I Don't think it was a bad book, just perhaps not the one for me.
I loved the growth of a sibling relationship between the main character and her brother as they got to know each other better following some time apart. Overall, I thought it was a great read even though I sometimes got lost in the plot.
Another novel in the series around Drumblair Castle and Lady Olivia. Fine as a read alone but better in sequence, we follow Liv as her no go brother appears again looking for redemption. I enjoyed this novel.
