What a great book this was very unique story which was one of those books you really think about after you have read it. I was gripped from start to finish it was definitely a rollercoaster of emotions and so many twists and turns. It was excellently written with such well developed characters.

Author Harper has been struggling for the past two years since her husband and one of her best friends die in a car accident together. When her oldest friend encourages her to use the dating app IntoYou she isn’t sure about it but gives it a go. But not everyone on the site is genuine, and some are not who they say they are what has Harper got herself into?

I will definitely be recommending this fantastic thriller to everyone. Definitely one of my favourites that I have read this year. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my advanced copy.

This book started off dragging for me
It seemed like it just kept repeating the same information, but half way through it picked up speed and I could not put it down. I usually can guess who the bad guy is, but I was totally surprised with this one.

Another addictive twisty read from the queen of nightmares. Harper is an Author of romance novels. who is trying to build her life back up. she lost her husband and friend in a car accident. it's just her and her dog. Bailey. Her best friend Megan has told her to get back in the world of dating .so she puts herself on a dating app, but it's not the outcome she wants when starts meeting her dates. this book will take you on a very twisty an addictive journey someone does not want her finding out the truth so good,

Note to self: if it comes down to me being single or opening a dating app this book has solidified my decision on embracing living alone with the curtains drawn and sharing space with 20 cats.

The female MC in this story went through it and my god she drug me along with her for the ride. This will be a hit for fans of psychological thrillers that get a little (ahem) dark.

Pairs well with popcorn and anxiety medication.

Keri sure knows how to weave a story. I was at the edge of my seat several times, wondered what I would have done in situations that Bailey experienced. I would recommend this book (and author) to everyone I meet!

Another gripping book by one of my favorite Authors!!! This book had me hooked from the first page and on the edge of my chair throughout. I could not wait to see what would happen at the end and if my theories were right! Boy was I shocked at the end! Fantastic book as it always is with Keri Beevis!

Harper decides to enrol onto a dating site after the tragic loss of her husband years earlier, it’s taken her a while to feel she is able to move forward but her friend has encouraged her to take the step. What transpires is not what she expects and soon realises that she doesn’t know who to trust. As this novel is set in my local area it captured me and at the same time terrified me. Keri Beevis captured my imagination with this one and I needed to know what was coming next.

Wow! I love this book, the author has once again delivered, it's haunting, gripping, letting your imagination do it's work. Every single chapter will give you a few shivers full of secrets and lies, Just who can you trust.

My outcome of this book is read it for yourself and it entails a proper good slap bang wallop read.

This was such an amazing book. I haven't read anything by Keri Beevis before but I definitely will be checking out more of her books.

We all have "that" bad date we'd like to forget, but when it's multiple bad dates in a short span of time, it's time to rethink our dating method. This is what happens when Harper, urged on by her best friend Megan joins a dating site. Harper, a widow for two years was blindsided not only by the death of her husband Charlie, but also by the fact that he was having an affair with a friend of hers. Her friend was also killed in the crash which is how she found out about the affair. Determined to stop grieving for someone who betrayed her, she agrees to join the dating site. After several really bad meet ups, strange and dangerous things begin happening to her.

This dark, terrifying thriller is a must read for all thrill seekers. Not only was the ending amazing but so were the twists leading up to it. It kept me guessing until the end. I highly recommend reading this.

Keri Beevis does it again with her newest thriller, The Cottage by the Sea. This one will keep you on the edge of your seat wondering what was going to happen next. Plot twist after plot twist and just when you think that you have it figured out, wrong!!!

Kerri does it again!! She keeps you wanting more. This one does not disappoint.

Harper a widowed woman who decided it was finally time to try dating again after her husband and best friend died in a car accident. Trying to get past thinking her husband was having an affair with her best friend and moving on. She tries searching for love on the internet and finding the opposite! Eventually finding out more then she bargained for. The story gives you almost a John Marrs feel to the twisted nature of the story. If you a fan of psychological thrillers this is definitely a book you want to read!

I discovered Keri Beevis books last summer, and promptly devoured every single one of them. They have all been 5 star books for me, and have become the author I recommend first when people ask me for book recommendations. This book is no different.

I LOVED this book. I really enjoyed Harper and was rooting for her, and felt bad when another curveball was thrown her way. We meet her 2 years after her husbands death, and while she is still coming to terms with this, she’s putting herself back out there on dating apps. After meeting several men, we as the reader are thrust into the mystery of the book-who is the second POV that is telling us his story, seemingly obsessed with Harper and very dangerous.


Keri Beevis does a great job drawing out suspense and keeping the reader guessing, and that’s exactly what I did while reading this book. I had no idea who the mystery man was until it was revealed, and it was a great twist. I’m so thankful that I received this ARC, but when the book comes out I still plan on purchasing it to keep in my collection. I am also going to make sure this book hits book clubs this spooky season-it’s a great thriller that everyone should read!

I had really high hopes for this one! And did it disappoint? Absolutely not.

Filled with twists and paranoia, this was a prime example of what a psychological thriller should be. I've read a few of Keri's books before, and she is one of those very few authors who manages to pull off dark themes.

Hands down one of the best books by Keri!

When her oldest friend encouraged her to use the dating app IntoYou she was extremely nervous to say the least. After some trial and error she finally finds someone to go for a drink with,she picks a pub not to far from where she lives and the first date with Adrian went really well and they agreed to meet up again, but not everything is as it seems and without any spoilers let's just say that Harper puts that one down to experience.
With encouragement from her friend she continues to date but with little success, she does meet a nice guy Luke even though it's not through the app but by a chance encounter.
But when several things start to happen in Harper's life including missing underwear from her bedroom she wonders if one of her dates has been stalking her.

Then she discovers a secret past regarding her late husband, who was the man that she married and what had he been hiding from her?

Who is terrorizing Harper and for what purpose?

Keri Beevis has pulled out all the stops with this dark and twisted psychological thriller. So many red herrings along the way you won't know who is friend or who is foe.

Harper is attempting to move on after the death of her husband. After locking herself away, suffering with panic attacks she is convinced to go on a dating app, but this isn't the fresh start she is hoping for.
Keri takes you through so many twists and turns that you genuinely have no clue, she leaves you until the last second to reveal a twist I didn't see coming. Another 5 star read from me and another 5 star book from Keri. Just when I thought she couldn't get any better!

A creepy and engaging read, A grusome thriller, the story centres around Harper who after two years of widowhood begins to dip her toe into the world on online dating. Lots of gripping twists and a well-paced plot, this novel will have you turning the pages. The characters are a bit simplistic but it doesn't detract too much from a well-written and engrossing story.

Harper was happily married, and was devastated when her husband was killed in a car crash. Making things worse was the fact that Alicia, Harpers best friend was in the car with him, and was also killed. Harper could not think of any reason why Alicia would be with Charlie, unless they were having an affair. Harper hid herself away in her Norfolk home, her questions unanswered, becoming almost a recluse, until her friend Megan suggested it was time for Harper to start living her life again. Harper signs up to a reputable dating site called "Into You", not really expecting any replies to her profile online. However, there are some, and so Harper, a little reluctantly, starts dating.
Harper meets several men, but not everyone seems genuine, and some are not who they say they are. Secrets and lies abound in this psychological thriller, and kept me turning the pages. I didn't see the ending coming, and I really enjoyed this book. Highly recommended.

This was an incredibly boring book. Harper has begun dating again after her husband and friend die in a car accident. Harper's husband cheated on her with the friend. Ok, so far believable and predictable. From there, it was suspenseful or intriguing in any way. The endless dates at the same pub, droned on and on. No tension really. A very slow burn. Two stars from me, and that is being generous.

Once again Keri Beevis has produced yet another stellar thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

When I first picked this book up I only intended to read the first chapter, just to get the feel of it. However, immediately I was pulled into this story with Harper. The book started off strong and I was expecting a typical stalker read. Nope, I wasn't prepared for the route this book took.

The story progresses well and of course the book is well written. What really stood out to me was how palpable Harper's paranoia and fear could be felt through the pages of this book. It was really well articulated and her feelings became my feelings. I love how this book also showcases the horrors of online dating and even dating in general. Keri skillfully incorporates real life dangers into this story,while maintaining a steady focus on the original plot.

As the secrets began to reveal themselves,my jaw hit the flow as to just depraved people can be. It wasn't overly gruesome and too detailed, something that I think many others will appreciate. The ending was suspenseful and tense. Beevis will have you at edge of your seat and hanging on her every word.

The build up to the antagonist reveal made me want to pull out my hair 😂. I was stressed!!
This was the perfect read for me and I enjoyed it from cover to cover. I highly recommend this one.
