Thank you net gallery for the advanced copy of this book. This was a fun read. Interesting premise. I am interested in seeing where this goes. I would definitely recommend.

Very promising start. Its been a while since a manga actually made me laugh put loud but I expect no less from ONE. Loved the artsyle and character design so so much!!
Versus by ONE, the creator of One Punch Man and Mob Psycho 100, is an action-packed manga that brings a lot of excitement. Set in a world where humanity is fighting its last battle against powerful demons, the story focuses on a group of warriors taking on these monstrous enemies in a desperate attempt to survive. The world-building is solid, pulling you into a mix of magic, mystery, and intense combat. The art is especially eye-catching, with detailed action scenes and memorable character designs, particularly when it comes to the demons, who look genuinely intimidating. As you'd expect from ONE, the plot is full of surprises. Just when you think you know where things are headed, the story takes a wild turn, keeping you on your toes. However, the fast pacing can sometimes be a drawback. The action moves so quickly that there’s not always enough time to really get to know the characters. While the battles are a lot of fun to watch, the series could benefit from slowing down occasionally to develop the characters more and explore their backstories. Overall, Versus is an enjoyable, high-energy read with plenty of twists, and if you're a fan of ONE's previous work, you'll likely find a lot to enjoy here, even if it doesn’t dive as deep into its characters as it could.

Well, the premise of this manga is interesting. But this volume is 90 percent set-up for the story to come. The character design is not bad, but nothing spectacular. The characters are... well, rather bland. And this lets the whole thing down, They are too standard, too cliche. And while it works a bit within the premise, it's still not enough for me. The art is adequat, but nothing more than that. It may pick up steam in later volumes, but for now - average

Classic Isekai meets Halo...when humanity can no longer stand against the demon hordes, they create an inter-dimensional portal to summon help from another dimension. But no one could have expected that their help would drag their own baggage along with them.
This book was fine. It reads well for a junior high audience that enjoys long battle sequences and quick movement through the plot.

ONE has proven that he can conjure an unending stream interesting stories and captivating characters, with Versus as the latest in a consistent streak of creative genius. It remains to be seen if the story will progress in a way befitting of the name he has made for himself, but if past performance is any indication, Versus will be another classic.

This was not what I was expecting! Such an interesting concept that makes you want to keep reading and rooting for the heroes!
The demon king must be defeated and in this world heroes are tasked with taking out the kings generals to hopefully kill the demon king! One by one, though, the hero’s are eliminated.. except for one.
Another plan is unfolding to possibly save humanity, but even that is destroyed when another obstacle is thrown their way!
Can humans defeat these enemies or are they doomed for extinction?

The epic battles that I'd expect from the creator of One-Punch Man, and with recognisable nods to other popular apocalyptic series.

This manga is absolutely crazy...
Thanks for Netgalley for obtaining a free copy of this Volume One.
It happens when the King calls for 47 Strongest Heroes that will compete for 47 Demon Kings and against The Great Demon King. Every heroes has following Demon King targets that they have to defeat in order that they met one day The Great Demon King that devastated their world.
Each Heroes have ranks on their own and one of the higher ones was Hallow. Hallow will be accompanied also by his friend Ario and Panepane Hallow's fairy support. Their target was the 11th Demon King but suddenly a months past news from different location of Demon King wrecked the heart of Hallow and his company and all of a sudden some dead, retired and betrayed them.
Fast forward, Hallow meets his elder brother named Zaybi and as he met again his brother they come with a quest that will go round and round to the story that I usually like. Meeting different worlds was crazy. All of the fight scenes are insane and some of the stories will also reveal why those worlds met together.
Hope that One will continue more the story because of the lore behind why all of the so called Natural Enemies are getting stronger and stronger.
Recommended if you love One Punch Man.

Thanks to NetGalley for the advanced copy.
Hallow is the 11th hero trained to defeat the 47 demon lords so humanity can defeat the demon king and not go extinct. Only he loses. He is saved by his older brother, who is on a mission to bring help from other worlds. Hallow's brother is a mage working with other teams of mages to create a summoning circle across the entire planet. The mages succeed in tying several worlds together, only there's an issue...... Humanity was losing in all those other worlds, too. And brough their problems with them. Now all they have to do is figure out how to survive.
A great manga for Isekai fans, only instead of one person being transported to a new world, it's the entire world that goes. Horror and gore fans will not be disappointed.

I can honestly say that I've never read any other series that had the same concept that this one does. Lots have cross world transportation, magic and sword craft, demons, robots/mechs, but I've not seen one that has absolutely all of them. Not just 1 world and 1 story, but 13 worlds and 13 stories brought into one story. Super interesting. Definitely left me wanting more. Can't wait for the next volume to come out!
Like always though, read it and decide for yourself

I wanted to like this so badly because I'm such a huge fan of the author. Unfortunately, there is nothing redeeming about this story. There are a whole bunch of characters thrown at you, many of which die immediately. No one has any background or personality traits. And everyone is weak. You could remove the heroes from the story and lose nothing.

Hero Hallow just got his butt kicked. Along with most of the other heroes trying to rid the world of the demon lords, Hallow has failed at his mission. When he meets up with his mage brother, the world as he knows it shatters. A merge between Hallow's world and 13 other worlds has occurred and instead of finding the help they were hoping for, they have found more problems. Or have they?
I love this so much. This is the same author as the Mob Psycho 100 manga and I am so here for it. The story is very well-developed and you can tell that they already have a plan and are ready to execute. I will definitely be reading more and anxiously await the anime that is sure to come.

The concept is simple: the hero and humanity is absolutely powerless against their current enemy, but another isekaied world has the weapons to combat the enemy easily. Next, the real hook: for 13 worlds isekaied into one place, they need to figure out how to pit their natural enemies against each other. It is a super ambitious story where each world is a different type of dystopia genre (ie robots, zombies, kaiju, survival game, aliens, nature, etc). The main draw of this manga is actually the author ONE, who created One Punch Man and Mob Psycho 100. The artist is also very good and draws the fight scenes very well. Great localization with the translation and lettering.
Overall, I am intrigued in the super huge isekai crossover enemy battle concept and the action is making me want to read more. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you to Kodansha and Netgalley for giving me a copy in exchange for an honest review.

When I first started reading I was like, "Alright, semi-generic summoned from/to another world premise, a sword and sorcery type, even, but this is a ONE story, and I've liked their other works." Then the twist happened. It wasn't just one summon, it was around thirteen. Said generic premise has now expanded into a potential genre spanner and commentary of common isekai tropes. The idea of "maybe we can't defeat our big bads, but the other worlders can, X13." has a lot of good story potential. I'm curious just where this is going to go.

For this new manga, all we really need to say is that it’s from the author of One-Punch Man and Mob Psycho 100. But while ONE’s CV tells a story in and of itself, there’s much more to Versus than that pedigree alone. The series takes place in a magical world beset by powerful demons. As humanity’s perfect predators, their prey can hardly fight back. But soon, a small team gets a brilliant plan to turn the tables. But in an attempt to save their world, humanity opens a door to an even bigger problem.
Giving away the twist of Versus volume 1 would be doing readers a disservice. Suffice to say, it’s not going where you expect it to. The phenomenal writing we’ve come to expect of ONE combines with planning from bose and action-packed artwork by Kyoutarou Azuma to create a genre-busting adventure. It looks like it’s going to be big, so you’ll want to get in on the ground floor for this one.

Thank you to NetGalley, Kodansha Comics, and ONE: bose for the opportunity to read this manga in exchange for an honest review.
Well, this is a weird on (in a good way...I think).
47 heroes are selected, one for each of the demon kings. The heroes are sent out to destroy the demon kings and regain the world back for humanity. It's a bit bleak though...The 11th hero is in a rut, but a strange group with specialized weapons (firearms as opposed to swords) comes and obliterates a group of demons. Has the call been answered? While they may think that, the group has actually sought them for aid to fight against these AI robots that have taken over humanity. Can the two groups help each others worlds across dimensions?
This manga offers an interesting genre blend of fantasy and futuristic technology. The art is great, as expected of the mangaka of One Punch Man, and some of the characters are certainly more intriguing than others. This is definitely a fun action-packed manga that fits the shounen genre.

Really enjoyable and easy to read. Very much action packed and keeps you enticed.
Had a really good unique story to this first episode. Look forward to reading more that's for certain.

This is a crazy story, I am interested in what will happen next. This story has multiple universes and needs help, so they do a spell to bring help from another universe, but things don't work out the way they thought they would. Things get crazy fast.

Want to thank Netgalley and publishers for giving me the chance to read this book.
Wow wow wow! I absolutely loved this manga. I haven't read something like this before. Won't say what really happened because I want you all to experience it yourself but wow. Honestly loved it. I think if you like groups going out and fighting bad guys and comedy then you'd like this. Reminded me a bit of Fairy Tail.

One Punch Man is my all time favorite manga and anime so I was thrilled when I got the oppurtunity to read Versus. The humor is still there and it's so much fun. I love that the heroes are "heroing" and the villains are "villaning", classic and interesting.
