I really liked this book. It gave a pretty balanced view of medical cannabis. Highly recommend for those who want to know more. Thanks Netgalley and publisher for the review copy.

There were some good bits to this book, and I was hopeful and very interested after the first chapter that dived into the history and background of this plant. But going into the medical side of things I feel like they lost it a bit. The sources are absolutely experts in their fields and know what they are talking about, but as it normally does around this plant it went too cautious and had an almost cut paste statement about caution and side effects at the end of each chapter. The one thing this does prove is that this plant needs proper and full research available.
I was intereted to see what this book said, but i found it quite disjointed but with some very good information included though

I was looking forward to a discussion about medical marijuana with forms and strains and figuring out different strains for pain relief. Instead, it was a bunch of paragraphs strung together with a variety of different titles. It was at the level I might have expected from a high school or university research paper— give me a paragraph for every random thing you learned from Google searches.
