I am a fan of the books Nancy Birtwhistle writes as they are fun, informative and as I love cooking, baking and cookbooks of any kind this book is right up my alley. I love the tips and knowledge this book gives me and I feel it is a book for everyone, novice to experienced. I read it from cover to cover first and then went back for some experimenting and cooking and I had a great time.

I have baked numerous recipes from this book and I love the Lemon Swiss Roll, Carrot and Orange Cake and the Chicken and Tarragon Pie is now a family favourite. The recipes are easy to follow and don't involve ingredients you have never heard of. Everything is in my pantry and I can imagine have a lot more fun baking and cooking using this helpful and handy new cookbook of mine!
