This book was so sweet, I love this series because they kind of feel like a warm hug.

This book was simple,(in a good way ofc) there wasn't anything pazazz about this book but I guess that's how it's supposed to be

This book is meant to be a comfy read when reading it you need to cuddle up with a blanket and maybe a cookie heck maybe even a full-blown meal too.

I loved Oliver he was so sweet, kind , and extremely funny he's food puns were hilarious honestly(So was Hazel like their humor was egg-tastic see what I did there IYKYK 🤭 )

I liked Hazel, I loved how she encourages Oliver how she sees the best in him and somehow always grounds him.

I loved how Marion described the food in this book it was so well done that I was starting to be hungry.

The puns in this were so bad but honestly that's what made them funny 😂

Did I mention that I loved the food gosh I'm quite glad I didn't read this book when I was hungry because the food described here was making me hungry.

So when reading make sure you have food near you, this was a quick read I read it in one sitting supper chill sweet swoony, and cute recommend Quick to the tea wish there were translations simple easy read funny.

I loved how Oliver's view of Hazel wasn't bad like how every time he'd say like she's beautiful the way she is so on and he was so positive about her body I loved it (does that even make sense:)

I also liked the fake dating aspect I'm not one for fake dating honestly but Marion did it Pretty well and I kinda even enjoyed it.

I loved the relationship between Hazel and Oliver it was easygoing and understandable I loved how they communicated (except for the lie) and how they were passionate about the same things I loved how they were always talking like it wasn't awkward you know.

The only downside to this book is that when anyone was speaking French there was no translation it was so frustrating cause I didn't understand😭

Also, ladies (& gentlemen ofc) if a stranger offers you a room to stay in their house in a foreign country run, run for the hills

Hazel is an American food review reporter who goes to Paris to try the French cuisine and report back to her publisher about her experiences. One day at a restaurant, she meets the chef, Olivier, who just took over for his father at the restaurant Hazel is writing a review on. Hazel tells Olivier how his food isn't up to par with what she expected and our love story begins. Highly recommended read for someone who is look for a nice cozy fall read that just so happens to include a French hottie chef!

The puns were a little bit too much, but it made me smile. It was also predictable, which is why I gave it 3.5 stars. I loved the writing and the plot though

This was soo cute. I breezed through this book in a day and I was really enjoying it. It was such a light, engaging, atmospheric and savory read. I truly felt like I was in Paris during the fall season. This is a great read for any foodies too, the MMC is a French chef and the talk of food and cooking had me so hungry and ready to go to France! I loved the relationship too and seeing how it unfolded on the pages was lovely. If you want a cute seasonal and easy to read book, this is the one! It is also part of the cutest series called the Cinnamon Rolls and Pumpkin Spice series. Which is a multi author series of standalone books.

I discovered this author purely by chance on Instagram, and volunteered to read an arc of her book.
I enjoyed it so much, that now when I see she has a new book coming out I don't even need to read the blurb as I know want to read it and that I will enjoy it.
This one was no different - such an easy to read book, with very likeable characters.
I actually loved the banter between the 2 main characters and laughed out loud more than once at their puns throughout the book.
I also learnt something new about Dora the Explorer too after being a mum for 8 and a half years - who knew?! 🤣

Paris, Pumpkins, and Puns is a charming and cozy romcom that takes you on a fun adventure through Paris in the fall. The vivid descriptions of the city made me feel like I was walking the streets of Paris, experiencing the food and atmosphere firsthand. The puns throughout the book were entertaining, even though some were a bit cheesy, but they definitely added humor and lightness to the story.

The descriptions of this books were so vivid I felt i was in Paris eating French food. The fake dating trope is well-executed here, and the chemistry between the characters, especially between the main character and Olivier, is delightful. Their relationship grows naturally through cute moments like cooking lessons and trips to the autumn festivals. It’s a quick and enjoyable read that gives you the warm, cozy vibes you’d expect from a fall romance.

One thing that surprised me was the closed-door romance, as I had expected something different. While it wasn’t what I anticipated, the story still delivered a sweet and satisfying romance that kept me invested. Overall, it’s a lovely, lighthearted book perfect for anyone who enjoys romcoms with fun puns and a beautiful Parisian setting.

This book was such a cute cozy fall read 💖

The main characters were really loveable - especially the fmc. I loved how strong and independent she was - but also how real and relatable. The chemistry between the two main characters was so cute. There were just enough will-they-won’t-they moments to keep me turning each page.

The humour in his book was spot on. It had me laughing at all the right moment and the cheesy puns. If I’m being picky, there were a few parts that dragged a lot which is why it’s not a full 5 stars.

If your looking for something to curl up with this autumn, I highly recommend this book

I had the pleasure of reading Paris, Pumpkins, and Puns by Marion De Re’. This is the third of seven books in the Cinnamon Rolls and Pumpkin Spice series. However, each book is written as a standalone that can be read and enjoyed in any order.

I was captivated by this sweet, closed door romance. As a foodie who loves to cook and bake, I instantly connected with Hazel and Olivier. They inspired me to get in the kitchen and whip up some of their creations, as well as my own.

In addition to sparking culinary ideas, Olivier and Hazel were highly entertaining. The two had me in stitches the entire book. Who knew there were so many food puns?

This was so cozy and romantic! It gave me the feel of a Christmas romance, only set in fall instead. I loved both Hazel and Olivier, and thought they were so great together. Reading about all the cooking and food was so much fun, and of course there were the experiences of the sparking Eiffel Tower, small French villages and market places, and even a romantic getaway to a chateau. I loved the body positive aspect of this story, and made Hazel seem so much more relatable as a character. This was such an enjoyable read!

Emily in Paris vibesss!!!! I absolutely devoured this story. I finished it in 1 day. This was the ultimate RomCom. I really wish Netflix would pick this up!! The plot is so great! its such a fluffy feel good romance. I loved that the main fmc was curvy and the MMC was a complete golden retriever boyfriend! Having a romance set in Paris with realistic vibes about Paris is "chefs kiss". All of the food puns and the fake dating trope really helped develope the plot. This is the ultimate fall cosy Rom Com read! I highly highly recommend!!!

This is a short and sweet fall romcom chock full of food puns that was just what I needed while home sick with Covid. It had my favorite city, a fall setting, and a charming French chef! It was tres mignonne!

Hazel and Olivier truly are a perfect pear (food pun intended!)

this book takes you to paris in autumn, to the farmers markets and the autumn festivals. it's a short, fast-paced read, and it takes u through a journey of a girl who has to decide whether or not to move to paris. she has heard all about how great paris is, but when she gets there, she finds that the reality is very different from her expectations. she decides she doesn't want to stay, but the strikes keep her stuck in paris for a while more. and when she sees the good-looking chef in the restaurant, she takes him up on his offer to stay in his guest-room.

i found the puns to be really cute, but as it went on, it started to pull me out of the story. especially since they started appearing in the middle of the story and went on and on. the problems they had between them also felt unresolved. with the book being so fast-paced, they had arguments, but a page later, they seemed to be completely okay, everything forgotten.

however, this book was still an enjoyable read and was sprinkled with the taste of autumn.

I was transported into a cosy autumnal world in Paris. It really was a dream seasonal book to read filled with love and humour.
The switch between reading both the main characters points of view really helped you to immerse yourself into the setting and live within their world.
The storyline was captivating whilst staying cosy and really leading you up to see how their love story was going to play out and end!
I would summarise this as the perfect autumn read and could definitely see myself picking this up in the future again!

This is the cosiest autumn fall romance I’ve had the pleasure to read.
It’s a dual point of view romance/ fake dating, with lots of food puns, cute interactions between the main characters,
I was giggling all the way through and loved how the ending turned out.
I will 100% be adding this collection to my fall reading list every year! And I can’t wait to read more from the author

A deliciously cosy, food-filled, Autumn read. Tropes containing, close proximity, fake relationship all give for a cute will-they, won’t-they vibe. The book is slow to build and at times felt drawn out with a rushed, sudden ending. It’s a short novel so I feel like elements could have been skipped or characters developed to give a longer more enhanced read. It’s a lovely romantic cosy Autumn book but lacks the depth to solidify itself as a top romance book.
