Pearl Thea and Jenny are back this time determined to make it a Christmas to remember for everyone but best laid plans and all,,…,,
Pearls husband Greg is declared missing after being hit on his way back from an information drop in Holland along with his friend Edwin who Jenny loves. Pearl and Thea’s grandmother Deedee travels to Fenthorpe to be with Pearl but she finds she has ha connection to someone in the area and slowly Deedee feels everything crumbling around her and she has secrets to reveal.
Great to visit the bomber girls again and looking forward to another visit soon.

It’s always great to spend Christmas with friends and family and it felt like rejoining old friends slipping into this book! I’ve really enjoyed the bomb girls series so far so seeing through a wartime Christmas with them was lovely!
It’s easy to grow fond of these characters and as soon as I opened the page, all of the other books came effortlessly rushing back to me. Sometimes it can take a while to rejoin a series but not with this one. It was a joy to be back.
Facing new struggles and challenges with the sisters Thea and Pearl and their loyal friend Jenny made for a great read and they never fail to make me smile at their strength, vulnerabilities and friendships. And also with Deedee on the scene in this one - the shadows of her past threatening her present made for such a compelling read, I couldn’t put the book down.
Such an enjoyable read from beginning to end.

Another brilliant book in the series. I was lucky enough to start it when visiting the area of Lincolnshire in which it was set!
You cannot help but to like all the characters. The books are such an easy and refreshing read and perfect for someone like me who likes to read before bed.
This was the first title in the series which had no part of the storyline on a military base but was instead set all in Lincoln around the newspaper office. I enjoyed this angle although hope we learn more about the military work in the next title in the series. I also hope we learn more about Greg and Edwin's time in Europe. I would recommend this series to everyone.
Thank you to NetGalley, the publishers and author for allowing me to read this Arc copy.

Firstly thank you Netgalley for this Arc
Another brilliant book by this brilliant author
Family saga, wartime, Christmas what more could you want
I love that it follows on from the other two books in the series so no thinking what’s going on
