A fast paced thriller with lots of twists. The characters pull you in. A book that keeps you guessing right to the very end. A great read!
Complex story with a whole bunch of unpleasant and unlikable characters. Plenty of twists and turns, keeps you reading to the end.
The Nanny’s Secret is a fast paced drama about a wealthy, entitled family and their nannies who seem to disappear. The novel is full of secrets, with plenty of twists and a shocker of an ending. Rose, the protagonist is probably the only appealing individual in a cast of horrible characters in this atmospheric, gripping book. A quick, engaging novel which I finished in a couple of days. Highly recommend.
Thank you to E. V. Seymour, Joffe Books and Netgalley for my advance copy.
The nanny’s secret was such a gripping read I devoured it in a few hours. There was lots of twists and turns throughout I could not guess what was going to happen next. I loved the written style and how well written the characters were. It had a bit of everything murder, betrayal and lots of suspense. I will absolutely be recommending this thriller to everyone. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my advanced copy of this great thriller.

Rose can't wait to be on her own with her husband, but for now, she is in the Blackthorn mansion living with her in-laws. While there, a nanny for Melissa, her husbands sister, goes missing, and the search leads to a bunch of family secrets and drama. Rose knows she will never be the same after this.
Wow. This book had tons of family drama and secrets. The characters were so real and well described it was as if I was there. This story has so much going on, but wow, at how it all comes together. It was well written and captivating. It kept me on the edge of my seat. It was fast-paced, well described, and thrilling till the very end.
*I want to thank Netgalley and the author for this book in return for my honest review*

Boundless Book Review
Wow! I was not expecting this book to be so good. The ending completely blindsided me! Filled with betrayal, family secrets, and murder, it had me hooked from the very beginning.
The story follows Rose and her husband, Raff, who convinces her to move into his parents’ estate to save money for their own place. Once there, Rose learns about the Percival’s troubled history with nannies, all of whom seem to have experienced bad luck. When a new nanny is hired to help Raff’s sister, Melissa, with her children, Rose starts noticing some strange occurrences. She starts to play detective and uncovers shocking truths.
The story is full of twist, turns and female characters. The plot was engaging and kept me guessing the entire time.
This really uses the suspenseful atmosphere perfectly, I was engaged with what was happening and thought the use of nannies worked well with the tension. The characters worked well together and left me guessing what was going on in this plot. E.V. Seymour has a strong writing style and I’m glad I got to read this.
Did NOT see the ending coming. I eventually had the thought of, “what if” - but certainly not the how. Just … wow.
I don’t want to give anything away - but if you’re a fan of a thrilling mystery, this is the read for you.
So gripping that I finished it in a day.
Thanks NetGalley for the ARC!
The Nanny's Secret was a solid read - I expected there to be more about the actual Nanny but I enjoyed the story, the wealthy characters and the family drama. Interesting characters, I warmed to Rose a lot and would have liked more of her backstory, particularly around her sister. I thought she was brave and feisty, a hard feat in such a snobby, set in their ways family.
The ending wrapped things up well but was disappointing (probably because I liked that character so much!). It was well written and fast paced and a great holiday read if you like a quick and easy thriller.
This book was gripping and hard to put down. It didn't feel like everything else you see out there, it felt very fresh. I really enjoyed this book!
Thank you NetGalley and Joffe Books for the eARC.
My rating for the book is rounded up to 4.5 stars.
I really liked this book, didn't want to stop reading but also didn't want it to end.
Rose and her husband, trying to save money for a house, move into his parents' home. Rose is reluctant, she feels uneasy in the house as well as with the family. Rightfully so, as she discovers some creepy happenings. She decides to do a bit of sleuthing and unfortunately, all her misgivings come to fruition.
It's such an enjoyable read, I loved it, but was a little bit disappointed with her final discovery. However, the ending was great, very satisfying. Highly recommended!
The Nanny’s Secret was an unexpectedly fantastic read! It was an excellent representation of the domestic suspense genre, as it contained many familiar tropes I love and expect to find in such books. I was captivated by the story from beginning to end. There are so many surprises throughout and I finished it in a single day.
Thank you to NetGalley and Joffe Books for providing me with an ARC of this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.
Thrillers I always hate reading buzz words and spoilers on.
Let me just say this book is quick paced and a great thriller. The author doesn’t just tell you everything you do have to think and follow some bread crumbs. The characters are all well thought of and have been flushed out.
this pacy thriller is just briliant.
The nanny shows the differences between the haves and have nots and is filled with secrets, murder and betrayal.
I loved to hate the characters and the way the tale is told is just sublime. It is perfectly written.
There is a twist that i didn't see happening and the plot is rich in detail and drama
highly recommended

Read this far to quickly!
Wow what a family! Well written and mainly awful characters, i found myself getting really angry with them!
Murder and betrayal with an ending which i did not see coming.
My thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my copy.
Huge five stars from me.
Wow! I did not see the last twist coming! I’m still thinking about it. If you want a psychological thriller that you will never guess the twists and turns (even though you think you may) - I HIGHLY recommend this one! This is perfect for fans of Freida McFadden if you are looking for that similar type of book!
I just finished a good thriller. The Nanny’s Secret was a winner for me. I would recommend this book to thriller readers.
A fast paced thriller read with excellent characters which held my interest from the beginning to the end.
Thank you to Netgalley and Joffe books for this ARC which I have no hesitation in recommending.
A suspense filled book that I read in a day and a half. There is lots of twists, mysteries, drama and a satisfying ending in this novel.
When Rose moves with her new husband to his family's estate while they save money for a home of their own lots of drama ensues. There's his parents, older sister Melissa, Estranged sister Violet, younger sister Wren, and her husband Raff who seems the most calm and normal of the bunch. When Melissa's husband brings home a nanny against her wishes and knowledge old drama is brought up as the siblings think of their last nanny as a child who disappeared. The new nanny Alice also doesn't seem to have much experience all though she listed references. When Alice disappears also Rose gets busy trying to figure out where she went and is she actually still alive. Wren the young misfit brings home a baby she bought illegally and his mother soon shows up. Melissa believes her husband to be having an affair but never could guess who it's actually with. AN interesting fast moved book .
