A grittier read than I expected. I was gripped and literally could not put it down. A nice surprise read.

Anyway, there were a couple of typos in this ARC but they didn't prevent me reading it.
The outline of the story immediately got my attention and I was keen to see how the author tackled this. The split timeframe took me a little by surprise, but it did make for a relatively interesting way of uncovering details and seeing the impact of such an event. However, it wasn't;t quite what I thought I was getting. This might be one to reread at another time and see if that alters my feelings.
