First I would like to thank Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for providing an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

He thinks his neighbor is out of his league and now she's his alibi.

What I Loved:
- Lucie, never doubted Kyran is a good guy and proved her belief in him by standing up for him to the sheriff
- Kyran, even with a troubled youth Kyran makes himself better and finally finds someone to trust in Lucie
- "Good guy" is the bad guy, I love a story that really shows biases in small towns and how they can be harmful

This was a sweet and quick read that had plenty of spice and a great build of the Lucie and Kyran relationship. If you need a little pallet cleanser with good characters a steamy romance and an HEA I would absolutely recommend this book for you.

Quick, steamy read! Lucie and Kyran had been ogling each other for months, neither wanting to make the first move until Lucie ends up stepping in as an alibi for a crime Kyran didn't commit. With the ice broken, their relationship quickly becomes steamy and intense. Perfect book to pass an afternoon.

Kyran has moved to a new house a few months ago and has been tormented since then by his amazingly beautiful neighbor. ,Lucie doesn’t even notice him, or so he thinks, but he sure does admire her in her tight yoga outfits and her swimming suits. He grew up in a bad part of town and had a terrible childhood. He has been trying to overcome all of that trauma and build a great auto shop. He business is doing really well but the sheriff is always tormenting him until one person speak as up on his behalf. Once they start to talk to each other, they can’t get enough f one another. Things develop very quickly but there is no going back to how things used to be. This is it for him and she is onboard with that. I was given an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was an adorable romance! Lucie and Kyran are just perfect for each other, and I loved seeing things progress from being too nervous to have a full conversation to a full relationship. I'm hopeful this is also setting up the start of a series, and I hope we get stories on the other characters too!

What do you do when the next door neighbor is the hottest thing you have seen in forever? Well you tempt him. Thats what Luci does wearing her bikinis and yoga outfits. But then when Kayran decides he wants her the railroad tracks get in the way. Great read

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. Thank you for allowing me to review

Sweet and short is the best way to describe this novella. Lucie is a sweet girl and Kyran is the boy from the wrong side of the tracks. And although he has cleared up his act, he is still seen as bad news by the sheriff. A wonderful story about second chances and wrong impressions. And – of course- some of Katie’s suspense. Three out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Loved this quick novella - Katie draws you in quickly and adds a bit of mystery to keep you hooked! These 2 were a delight to read and I loved their happy ending.

3.5*

This is a short cute, sexy little read. Kyran is from the wrong side of town. He had a rough start to life and knew he was heading nowhere. So as soon as he turned eighteen he joined the marines. Served eight years and now he’s back. He’s opened an auto shop and is doing well, really well. But he still feels like the poor boy from the wrong side of town. He’s fighting his attraction to Lucie and finds himself almost unable to speak around her.

Lucie comes from a rich loving family. She’s attracted to Kyran but can’t believe how quiet he is. All she gets is one word or a grunt. Normally she goes for a take charge man but she definitely wants Kyran.

This is a cute little read, there’s a lot of sex (probably about half the book) but the two main characters are hot and fabulous.

I voluntarily read a review copy kindly provided by the publisher and NetGalley

Kyran is a former Marine who has moved home to his small town to open a garage. Now that he is successful, he has a small house by the lake and he has a good life. His neighbor is very appealing, but he is convinced she’s out of his league. Lucie loves living at the lake and running her yoga studio. She also likes watching Kyran exercise daily. When the sheriff accuses Kyran of potential wrongdoing, Lucie comes to his aid and a relationship is started. Can the man from the wrong side of town and the rich girl find love?

This is a very short story about two people from a small town that take a chance on starting a relationship. There is a judgmental small-town sheriff who is dealing with prejudices that he carries and family issues of his own. There is no bad guy to speak of in this story. There is no big emotional punch either. I had one issue with this story. In some ways this book feels like the outline of a bigger story even though the author managed to include all of the relevant elements into the story.

This is a contemporary small-town romance. I like this author so I will read more from her in the future.

TEMPTED BY HER NEIGHBOR by Katie Reus. Well, Ms. Reus has once again scripted a tale that was enjoyable to read - it had danger, mystery and of course some romance too. I liked Lucie and Kyran - together they made a great pair. My biggest complaint is that it is a novella and I wanted more! Overall, loved this story. (received ARC from NetGalley for honest review)

What a fun "wrong side of the tracks" romance! Kyran was a troubled youth with a background of growing up with an abusive father while Lucie was the "princess" from the right side of the tracks - except she really is not a princess but a normally adjusted woman.

They both have been looking at each other but not acting on the attraction until Kyran was questioned about his alibi and Lucie gave him one. From there, it is so fun to watch these two grow closer and come to love.

Could not put this book down until I got to the end!

Cute little story. Loved the shy man versus woman. And, of course, gotta love a hot mechanic. I liked the slight edge of danger and the little bit of intrigue.

This was a really delightful short and sweet read. Kyran used to be a troubled teenager. Now he's back from the military and owns a successful auto repair shop. He has been crushing on his neighbor Lucie, and when he is accused of a crime he didn't commit Lucie steps up with an alibi and finally sets things into motion so he can make a move.

The book is very low angst and just a fun quick read.

Thank you to Netgalley and KR Press LLC for an arc in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Leaving home to escape his abusive father, former town bad boy Kyran O’Callaghan returns to Hudson Creek after leaving the marines to open a garage and quickly finds himself falling for local good girl Lucie Miller. He had no intention of making a move on her, believing he’d be punching way above his weight but when she sees the local sheriff harasses him, accusing him of committing a crime, he’s shocked when she leaps to his defence, providing him with an alibi. He didn’t realise that Lucie had been attracted to him since he moved in next door and, tired of waiting on him to make the first move, saw this as a way to break the ice

I love a good “wrong side of the tracks falls for the town princess” type of trope and Tempted by her Neighbor shows a lot of promise. There’s a little angst but nothing too major and the characters were well rounded and likeable with just enough steam between them to be believable without being too OTT. I just wish it had been extended to full novel length, but this was still an enjoyable read from an author I know will always deliver when it comes to romantic suspense.

A quick, fun romance. You get angst, heat, and a mmc who knows how he feels and isn’t afraid to show it. You get classic Katie Reus suspenseful moments with spice early on. A perfect weekend read.

Lucie was a really special character, I loved her take charge attitude. Kyran was sweet in his not so self assured attitude when it came to Lucie. A one sitting nice read with just a little bit of stress. Once they started, they were off to the races. Loved this small look into their life.

Kyran O’Callaghan was a wild one growing up he had no adult supervision and knew he was heading into trouble so he joined the military now after eight years he has returned to Hudson Creek and boy has he noticed his new neighbour Lucie Miller But while he may be in control of his business and totally in control of his life he is shy where Lucie is concerned and he has problems his garage is in competition with the sheriffs sons and he is by far the better mechanic and they are determined to make life hard for him But when he is accused Lucie steps in and gives him an alibi can he get over his shyness and try to build something with her You will have to read to see. This is a fast fun read that kept me engaged till the last page

This is a cute and quick read featuring neighbors Lucie and Kyran. Kyran is a reformed bad boy, so when he's accused of a crime he didn't commit Lucie is there to help get him out of trouble. I always look forward to new books by Katie Reus.

Tempted by Her Neighbor (Kindle Edition) by Katie Reus
This is a short fast read - but lots of fun. Kyran and Lucie are neighbors who are attracted to each other from the start and neither one owns up to their feelings. There is angst, some baggage, discovery, laughter, tears, misunderstandings, lots of hot steamy stuff, wonderful family and friends, a bad guy that gets us to a very HEA.
Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Easy-to-read Page-turner Unpredictable Steamy Great world building Funny Romantic Happily Ever After Wonderful characters Entertaining Tear-jerker.
