This is a cute and quick read featuring neighbors Lucie and Kyran. Kyran is a reformed bad boy, so when he's accused of a crime he didn't commit Lucie is there to help get him out of trouble. I always look forward to new books by Katie Reus.

Tempted by Her Neighbor (Kindle Edition) by Katie Reus
This is a short fast read - but lots of fun. Kyran and Lucie are neighbors who are attracted to each other from the start and neither one owns up to their feelings. There is angst, some baggage, discovery, laughter, tears, misunderstandings, lots of hot steamy stuff, wonderful family and friends, a bad guy that gets us to a very HEA.
Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Easy-to-read Page-turner Unpredictable Steamy Great world building Funny Romantic Happily Ever After Wonderful characters Entertaining Tear-jerker.

Kyran and Lucie are sizzling together. It’s a quick and short contemporary romance. I loved Lucy’s fiery personality and Kylan’s quiet but totally alpha personality. They are total opposites but are perfect for each other.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

Tempted by Her Neighbor is a short one hour or so novella read by Katie Reus. It doesn’t have the character or plot development that a longer book by this author usually has. Still, it is an entertaining steamy, low angst romance. It is not exactly an instant love story since the “neighbors” had been watching each other for months but did not act on their attraction. When an incident cause them to do so they were all into the relationship.
A problem to be worked out but no real danger for the characters. Simply a romance developing between two from opposites sides of the tracks. A nice short read.

would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for letting me read this very short but very good novella
kyran is back, he may have been a trouble maker when he was a teenager but he had served his country and now it was time to settle down and do what he wanted to do...
he'd opened up a garage and had a few employees and he had bought a house near the lake, he just needed the sheriff to leave him alone
lucie miller is his neightbour and ends up being his alibi when the sheriff comes calling...... how what and why is all kyran is wondering...
oh man this story though short is why some authors can write them and some cant...this is a win win for me... its funny, sad and very entertaining with enough spice to keep everyone happy....
cant wait for the next book this author brings out whatever length

Lucie knew what she wanted the first time she laid eyes on Kyran. When she decided to go for it, he never stood a chance! Tempted by her Neighbor makes the perfect weekend fun read for anyone.

Kyran and Lucie take some time to get together but once they do, it's intense. They are amazing together. I really enjoyed this book and hope to read more about some of the other characters.

Novella length. Kyran and Lucie were neighbors near the lake. So many cool secondary characters, I hope Ms. Reus writes more!

I just loved Kyran and Lucie. Lucie has been secretly crushing on her sexy, broody neighbor for a while now. And Karan has feelings for Lucie but he thinks he isn’t worthy of her. They give in to their attraction but misunderstandings threaten their budding romance. This was a short story but very enjoyable. I was given an arc from Net Galley but this is my honest review. I would recommend this book for a quick afternoon read.

Loved It!
Just what you need, a wonderful romantic novella with lots of feel-good moments as they each skirt around the attraction they have for each other before their steamy sizzling romance starts.
Ms Reus always delivers in whatever genre she writes about and this one is a swoon-worthy heart melting read.

This is such a heartfelt and cute romance short story! It’s the perfect cosy read to finish with a content smile.
Easy read and very nicely done

A cute romance that makes you smile. A short story of how love can happen anytime with someone unexpected. Both Kyran & Lucie are cute & sweet in their own way. Enjoyable. Honest review.

This is a fast read by one of my favorite authors. I really enjoyed it and loved Kyran and Lucie. Lucie has been crushing on her sexy, broody neighbor for a while now. What she didn’t know is that it was totally mutual but Kyran didn’t think she’d be into him. So they lusted from afar. Until one day
Lucie steps in to help when Kyran is being harassed by the sheriff, and the rest as they say is history. Great characters and story made me wish it to be longer. Lucie and Kyran’s chemistry was positively sizzling. I hope this author decides to write more in this world.

Reus never disappoints! Quick read with solid characters, sizzle, slow to fast burn, insecurities, and a bit of drama - everything you need.

This was a sweet and cute quick read! Nice little cleansing palette novella after a dark romance.
Kyran runs a successful auto repair shop in the town he grew up in after serving in the Marines for 8 years. The sheriff still doesn’t like him and thinks he’s a a criminal like his dad.
Lucie feels attracted to her new neighbor, but he’s a man of few words and she hasn’t really run into him much these past 7 months.
When the opportunity comes to help Kyran out in front of the sheriff, Lucie doesn’t think twice.
The chemistry was sizzling!
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

First off, I adore Katie Reus and am rarely disappointed by anything she writes. That said, Tempted by Her Neighbor, an older story (barely a novella) that she's recently resurrected, is not one I'd recommend. It's not bad. It's just that there's nothing there.
The main characters are nice. The big conflict is supposed to be that they're from different sides of the tracks, but that never actually comes into play aside from a little bit of insecurity on Kyran's part. Basically, they crush on each other from afar, and then they have sex, and then they're in love. There are a few minutes of miscommunication that are quickly cleared up, plus one requisite giggly tipsy girls' night out somewhere in the middle.
The small amount of drama teased in the book's blurb is another nonstarter, really. It's almost as if the author didn't want there to be any actual strife.
Gah, I feel bad about this review. But anyway, if you want to read Reus, maybe try out her Ancients Rising series. It's much more fun.
I received an ARC of this book for free from the publisher and Netgalley. I'm writing this review voluntarily, and it reflects my honest opinion. Thanks!

This was a quick page turner with my favorite type of hero. He's the tall, silent by deadly type with a bit of shyness. You wouldn't think that would be a good mix but it really was. The shyness quickly moved to quiet dominance. I'd be interested to get more from several of the side characters that appeared in this book.

Tempted by Her Neighbor, is a quick read. There is a lot of story there though. Kyran grew up trailer trash and made something for himself. Not that the locals will let him forget where he came from. Lucie comes from a privileged background. The fact that opposites attract is proof right there. I love how tongue tied and shy Kyran is around Lucie in the beginning. Did not expect that out of him. When he comes out of that stage he is awesome. Lucie is a very lucky girl.

A cute and sexy little romance
Being a big fan of Katie Reus, I was delighted to see this little novella coming out (or rather coming out again since it's apparently a rewritten and republished novella !)
All the ingredients are there : a sexy but also surprisingly shy neighbor (and I didn't think I'd like that this much !), a cute and funny neighbor and a rival mechanic who is losing his mind =)
Only one regret : TOO SHORT ><
In short, a perfect little sexy romance to read ! I loved having more books in this small town ><

I loved it! It was short and sweet and such a light, fun read. It was such a joyful read that brought a smile to me. I hope that Katie does write stories for the other characters in this book. She hints that she might.
