The Emotionally Agile Brain takes us on a journey to twelve emotional needs and on the way we take reflective breaks with guiding questions.
As a fan of Maslow and neuroscience(s), I liked the book’s borrowing from Maslow’s work and the discussions around neuroscience.
I wrote a very detailed review, but my connection was lost.
I will edit my review to provide more details later.
Pros: Detailed, intense, dense, informative.
Room for improvement: There is a mention of a popular psychological study. In the past ten years, several studies tried to repeat the study/test, and showed that the initial study was flawed. There are a few instances with some facts that do not affect the argument because they are used as analogies. A factual check, a balanced approach, a better/focused structure, more editing, more supporting examples by science, and a slightly more engaging prose would have been perfect.
