****Actually a 3.5 star rating****
This is technically book 3 in the series, but I think it can be read as a standalone. I haven’t read the first two books and it didn’t make a difference to me.
I enjoyed the break from the spice, the lusting, the talk about body parts, all the s*x. I enjoyed that this book was all about their feelings and love for each other. Don’t get me wrong, I definitely enjoy the spicy books, but it was nice to read a G-rated romance book.
Not spicy, so if you have a teen that wants to read romance, but you don’t want them reading spice, this is perfect.
I listened to the audiobook. I didn’t mind the narrator, but I had to speed it up. I can’t stand listening to audiobooks that are super slow. Personally, I had to have it at 2x speed. I did like that it was a shorter audiobook though.
Not really important, but I like the audiobook cover much better than the book cover.
Thank you to the publishers, author and NetGalley for the free copy of this audio book.
Cute, quick read. I did not read any of the previous books but didn't feel like I was missing a lot of information. Overall decent characters and some cheesiness throughout. The narrator did a good job.
Her Big Sky Cowboy was a rather short book that got rather cheesy occasionally. Overall I found it to be mediocre at best.
Thank you NetGalley and publisher for this arc!!
What a good book! I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I loved the main characters! They had great chemistry and worked so well together. I loved how the book just flowed. My first by this author but will not be my last!!!
This was an ok read for me. I wasn’t fully invested but i like the characters and storyline.
Thank you for this copy!
Short and sweet. Just a little slice of happiness. Trinity and Zane are great characters and it was standalone enough that I didn't have to read the other books in the series to enjoy this one.
A rough and quiet cowboy takes in his nephew who has just lost his parents and has trouble speaking. This leads to a speech therapist staying at the ranch for the summer.
Even tho this book #3 in the series it can be a stand alone book and I didn't feel like that I missed anything.
Thank you to NetGallery and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Her Big Sky Cowboy
The Wildflower Ranch #3

Five Stars
Oh my heart! Grumpy Zane Nash is newly raising his 'nephew', Finn. Finn's parents died and Zane is doing his best to raise the boy he didn't know. At a disadvantage because his brother and his ex girlfriend ran off and kept the child from him. All this on top of the fact that his mother abandoned him and his brother plus his dad was HORRIBLE. Poor Zane.
Trinity Redfern is Finn's speech therapist and absolutely unimpressed with Zane, she cares a lot for Finn though and so agrees to spend the summer at the ranch helping Finn find his voice again. She may also be able to help Zane with his BS too.
This story was so sweet and so well written with a beautiful happy ending.
Clean romance, not even talk of sex, just a little kissing.
Big thank you to NetGalley, Bolinda Audio, and the author for the opportunity to read and review this story. All opinions in this review are my own.

Such a cute story! This was my first book by Alissa Callen and now I will be going back to read books 1& 2 in the series - Cherish Me, Cowboy
and Her Mistletoe Cowboy! Zane and Trinity's story pulled on my heartstrings. I loved how their love grew through life, lessons and understanding. It was a sweet book with excellent narration.
I listened to the audiobook and the narrator was great! The book was quick and easy to follow. I enjoyed the characters and the author’s writing style but I wanted a little more from it. After reading this, I noticed that it is the third book in the series so maybe that would have helped with the needing more.
I really wanted to love Her Big Sky Cowbow. Usually this kind of book is right up my alley but I really struggled to get into it and found my self not wanting to finish it. In saying that, I don’t think it’s a bad book. It’s well written and should tick all the right boxes but there was nothing that stood out about the characters or plot. It felt like reading just another cowboy romance. I think maybe this one just wasn’t for me.

This was a cute short book, about Zane a single dad who’s learning to become a father.

I was actually really thrilled to start this book, it intrigued me with the cover, summary and title (I was reading so many cowboy romances during the summer).
I have to say tho, I was very disappointed.
The biggest problem for me was the changing POV. I don't know how it was handled in the book, but when listening to the audiobook you never knew whose POV you were currently listening to. It sometimes even changed after a few sentences, so I was in an ongoing state of confusion.
I liked the main characters tho, Trinity being a speech therapist with her story was heartwarming and Zane's character was a great choice for the mmc. Him being a father without everybody knowing Finn is actually his son was a nice twist!
Zane's and Trinity's romance was heartfelt, I really enjoyed that part.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this book tho, the confusion was just too much for me to handle.
I really enjoyed Her Big Sky Cowboy; it was a cute and sweet cowboy romance that was easy to listen to. The narration by Jessica Preddy was perfect, bringing the story to life and making it feel very real. While I liked the storyline, I felt that the writing could have been stronger.
Summary: Trinity, a speech therapist, meets reclusive rancher Zane while helping his son, discovering Mr Wrong might just be Mr Right.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ALC, all thoughts are my own.
A charming small town romance. I assume there were others in this series I have not yet read but I was able to follow along with the side plots & a joy this novel on its own.
The characters were interesting enough that the reads will be invested in the plot & budding romance.
The themes of forgiveness and healing was really nice to see and added an inspirational layer to the plot.
The setting spoke to me. I want to move to a Montana ranch tomorrow! And of course the relationship between the characters and the little kid was heartwarming.
"Her Big Sky Cowboy" by Alissa Callen, narrated by Jessica Preddy, tells the story of Trinity Redfern, a dedicated speech therapist in search of her perfect match. She envisions a partner who is articulate, well-dressed, and willing to let her take the lead.
Zane Nash, a reclusive rancher, has learned to be wary of trusting others, especially women. However, when he unexpectedly becomes a father to five-year-old Finn, he must rely on Trinity, a sassy speech therapist who takes over his ranch for the summer, to help Finn regain his ability to speak.
As the summer draws to a close, time becomes a pressing concern for both Finn and Zane. Will the reserved cowboy find the words to persuade strong-willed Trinity to stay with him forever?
I found this to be a heartwarming and sweet story, and I enjoyed listening to it during my daily commute to and from work for a few days.
I enjoyed listening to Alissa Callens audiobook Her Big Sky Cowboy. A gentle romance set in beautiful Montana. Jessica Preddy narrated the book very well and expressively.
Tiffany, a speech therapist, works with young Finn who does not talk much. She meets his father Zane who has been hurt badly in the past and does not want a woman in his life.
A shortish and easy listen audiobook.
Her Big Sky Cowboy was a very YA romance. If you are looking for cute, fast read with out a lot of drama this will be the book for you. I didn't find that anything happened between the two main characters.
Her Big Sky Cowboy by Alissa Callen is a sweet story uniting lost souls in search of something, whether they know it or not. Trinity Redfern is a speech therapist working with young Finn Nash at a summer science camp. Finn is not very verbal, which worries both Trinity and his guardian, Zane Nash.
Once the camp is finished Trinity is concerned that Finn’s newly forming verbal skills will slide adversely effecting him when he begins school in the fall. When she is invited to stay at the ranch to work with Finn, while surprised, Trinity is quick to accept to help this little boy who has stolen her heart. The trick, however, will be to keep Zane from doing the same.
This is a lovely story about trust, betrayal, and recovery of the family group. I did enjoy this story and I do recommend it!

I liked the mmc but his son. The bond between them was really cute and felt important to the story. But I was in between liking and hating the fmc. Especially in the last few chapters. She did just annoy me in chapter 13 and I was so mad at her disicions. There were also to many characters for my liking. I couldn't really remember who was who when some names were mentioned. And also the ending felt to abrupt.
