This. Is. Adorable.

My daughter loves Squishmallows (she is 23) and I just had to check this out. The photos are beautiful, the recipes all look yummy, and there's a nice variety of different recipes, too.

I highly recommend this book for anyone who loves Squishmallows and spending time in the kitchen with your family.

Thanks to Netgalley for the advanced copy!

Some of these recipes look too good to be true and they’ve got a little something for everyone and every season. I think I put on weight just looking at the pictures!

The cover of this cookbook drew me in and I thought it might be something my kids would enjoy so I checked it out. This cookbook is so cute! I loved the way it was laid out with a Squishmallow on each page with their recipe. There are so really cuter and creative recipes in this book and they all seem to be doable for an average baker. The layout of the cookbook is beautiful and the pictures accompanying each recipe are a great addition. There are many recipes in this cookbook that I am looking forward to trying. I think this will be a great cookbook to use to bake treats with my kids over the years. If you are looking for some fun, kid friendly dessert recipes this book is worth checking out!

Do you or your kids love Squishmallows? How about baking? If the answer is yes to either, this cookbook is the perfect way to bond with your little ones. Featuring 50 recipes inspired by everyone’s favorite squishy toys, this book brings cookies, cakes, and pies to life in creative and fun ways. There’s a recipe for every occasion and flavor preference. My personal favorites are Belton's Mini Lemon Drizzle Cakes and Sassafras's Chocolate Orange Bundt Cakes.

This cookbook is so fun and cute. I have the biggest sweet tooth, and majority of these desserts look very appealing. The graphics look great. I love how every recipe comes with a full color photo.
I thought the recipes might be easier solely based on "squishmallows" being in the title but these are definitely not, but they also don't seem overly difficult either.
I really enjoy how the book has holiday/season inspired treats in calendar order.

A very cute dessert and drink cookbook for the Squishmallows fan! I enjoyed that each baking recipe included a full color photograph. This is key to get kids involved in picking and being involved. The book also progresses through the seasons and holidays making it useful year-round. It is also full of fun illustrations featuring our favorite Squishmallows.

Thank you NetGalley, Quarto Publishing Group-White Lion, and Original Squishmallows for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

If you are a collector of Squishmallows you need this! Each squishmallow has their own recipe, so super cool for someone who collects them!

I have an 11 year old grandaughter, so I pulled her in to help review this book. This was perfect for us to do together. It's not for very young children, but the recipes could be made with them "helping." Mine was able to actually participate and did well. She loves Squishmallows, so she was ALL over this cookbook. The photography is so well done, and every bit of it was fun. I highly recommend this for your Squishmallow fan. It would make a great gift to pair with a Squishmallow and perhaps a certificate to have baking time together.

While this book has tons of recipes I'd love to make - the cover had led me to believe that this would be for more novice cooks, or at least recipes a family could make together. I'd recommend previewing some of the recipes themselves to parents before they thought to buy this book for their child or family - it may not be exactly what it seems on first glance. Nevertheless, the recipes are thorough, with plenty of nice images of each. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.

As someone who loves Squishmallows so much this was the best thing ever. There are so many tasty treats in here I can’t wait to create myself and I love the little intro to each treat with talking about the Squishmallow that makes it.

What a cute little cookbook! I was genuinely surprised by the level of the recipes in here. I was expecting a book of child-friendly, novice-level recipes but found that there were a lot of delicious sounding recipes for people with more intermediate cooking and baking experience. The illustrations are adorable, and the food photography was well shot. As a Squishmallow collector, I really liked the little blurbs with the recipes connecting them to the different characters, and I could see it being fun to create the dish that matches with my niece's favorite squish of the week to share with her. Do be aware that almost all of the recipes in this book are for sweets, and there are only a couple of savory options. This far exceeded my expectations for a Squishmallow themed cookbook.

Perfect baking book for all the Squishmallow fans out there! Super cute and all the baked goods look amazing! 5 stars!

This baking book is just the cutest! I was able to try a couple of the smoothies in back after going through the book and not only were they delicious but the directions were easy to follow. There are a few more advanced recipes like Macarons and Ice Cream Cake that require a bit of prior baking knowledge but I think someone who wasn't an avid baker could follow along and have success! It's also a great gift for a young baker or something to buy for the whole family for a day a baking fun!

There is so much wrong with Squshmallows: The Official Baking Book that I hardly know where to start. Let’s start with the rampant money grab, although I’m not sure that’s the worst part.

Like so many other franchises, the original product spawns an entire empire of spinoffs: toys, clothes, picture books, dollhouses, keychains, scrunchies, calendars, bedding and, yes, even a cookbook. Since Strawberry Shortcake invented behemoth marketing, parents have had a hard time not having their entire paycheck consumed by the latest fad.

The rampant commercialization is sad. Each recipe is said to come from a different Squishmallow pal (Buy me! Buy me! is the tacit message) while “crafted with love and a sprinkle of squishy magic.” (Yuck!) But the recipes themselves are problematic because the vast majority of them are much too difficult for a child young enough to collect Squishmallows. Can you imagine a 10-year-old making Claudia’s Key Lime Pies, which requires separating eggs, zesting limes and filling tart rings? Right, me neither. How about Edie’s Easter Fridge Cake, which requires using a double boiler? How about Satine’s Carrot Cake? Not only does the recipe require shredding carrots (sure, let a kid use a box grater) and zesting an orange, but the recipe requires a child to make marzipan carrots. Right! In other words, this is a cookbook to saddle your mother with extra work.

You might be seeing a pattern with the recipes: Except for Winston’s Cheesy Scones, Veronica’s Pretzels and a few of the beverages, everything produced are sugary snacks, desserts or drinks. At a time when one out of five American children is clinically obese, this cookbook is probably not the best thing to give a child. The author is listed as the Original Squishmallows, which I understand because who would want to have their name attached to this abomination?

In the interest of full disclosure, I received this book from NetGalley, Quarto Publishing Group – White Lion and White Lion Publishing in exchange for an honest review.

With 50 recipes included, Squishmallows: The Official Baking Book is sure to keep Squishmallow fans busy in the kitchen. Most young fans will need help with these recipes, but making them together with caregivers will create plenty of bonding opportunities along the way.

The colorful graphics and bright photography make this cookbook a fun one to peruse, and each recipe includes a cute introduction relating to a Squishmallow character.

I am especially eager to try out the recipes for Claudia’s Key lime pies, Edie’s Easter egg fridge cake, Genevieve’s macarons, and Sassafras’s chocolate orange Bundt cakes.

I received an advance copy of the Kindle version from Quarto Publishing Group and White Lion Publishing. All review opinions are my own.

This is the CUTEST cook book ever!!! My kids LOVE Squishmallows and would absolutely love this book. They also love baking, so double amazing! This book has such cute little "Squishmallow" foods like cookies, brownies, pies, sweet treats and even drinks! I think it's adorable and would be really fun baking these goodies along side my kids.

This was simply adorable. Really cute concept to match the Squishmallows with the recipes and the illustrations are colorful and eye catching. My daughter loves Squishmallows and this is going to be a fun way to keep her engaged while we try some recipes out. They all look delicious, can't wait to try some like: Robb's banana loaf, Sunny's honey buns and Manny's gingerbread houses for the holidays. The drinks section was really nice too.

Thank you to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group for the opportunity to read this ARC and share my honest review.
