This description "A perfectly feel-good Christmas romance that will put a smile on your face" is so apt.
This is a heartwarming story of Fallon needing to take some time to reflect on what matters to her in the future. With a strong hero and some great supporting characters, you get a lighthearted but meaningful romance.
I recommend.

This was such a festive and cozy Christmas story! It felt like I was reading the script of a Hallmark Movie. I easily binged this book in an evening.
The storyline was fairly light hearted but it also had a strong element of personal growth and love that I really appreciated. The characters for the most were very likeable and memorable.
I would definitely recommend adding this one to your Holiday TBR!
Thank you Hannah Langdon, Net Galley and Storm Publishing for providing me with an ARC of this book!
Oh, I do love a happy ending, especially one at Christmas. The romance and the coming together are never really in doubt in this book, however that doesn’t matter a jot. The plot that centres on organising and running events both strangers and for the very close to home brings in such marvellous characters that is hard not to love them. You have the fabulous soap Star, the overshadowed daughter, the widow, the children from different branches of the tree, and they all mesh together in a big old stately home. The day to day is well described, along with the emotions, and the bracing walks in the Yorkshire countryside which are sometimes more desperately needed than others! There is something a little fairytale about this book which makes it easy to read and enjoy.
This is a Hallmark Movie in word form! i loved it. Definitely gets you in the Christmas spirit which is perfect for this time of year. I recommend!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Christmas with the Knights by Hannah Langdon was so sweet, so cute and so kind Christmas story that I smiled constantly! This one I can see as a Hallmark movie! I am still smiling while writing :)
There are so many heart-warming situations, it's impossible not to love this book!
This book for sure ticked all Christmas story boxes so if you are like me and love Christmas stories - this book will be so for you!
Fallon works simply too hard so after her burnout, she agrees to spend time with her soap-opera star mother in her boyfriend's house. Fallon will take this time to "repair" herself, her relationship with her mother and to know the mum's boyfriend's family!
Relationships between characters are nice and heart-warming, and situations are cute and fun. There is so much kindness and love!
And yes, you can say it's predictable, but come on, show me one Christmas book/film that is not operating by the same script.
Thank you, NetGalley and Storm Publishing for this copy!
Reading this story is like watching a Hallmark movie. sweet story of family. I enjoyed the story very much.
I thought the idea for the story was good and if you’re in the market for a feel good, cozy winter, hallmark read, this is for you. At times I felt the dialogue to be a little stiff, formal and too structured. It was hard for me to picture people really speaking that way.
Perfectly pleasant read. As others have said, it does have all the feel of a Hallmark movie, very little drama, almost perfect familyand it's just a little bit too twee at times.
Would definitely read a mystery story with Aunt Constance and Sam though :)
If you love the single dad trope then you'll love this.
This gave me such christmas vibes and I loved it!
I felt like this was definitely a lust at first sight, and I loved Fallons charecter development.
Alexander is honestly the nicest, and let's not mention Theo.
If you love a cosy Christmas read, I would recommend settling down with this.
Thank you for letting me read the ARC!
This was a wonderful, sweet, festive, gentle romance! Fallon is completely burnt out running her own very successful events business in London, and her celebrity (and often absent) mother whisks her away to Yorkshire to spend 3 weeks at her mother's boyfriend's manor house to recuperate. Fallon deals with finding out what she truly wants, having some mother-daughter bonding time with some heartfelt conversations, and falling in love with her mother's boyfriend's son. Wonderful characters and very relatable situations. I couldn't put it down!
Thanks to Netgalley, Storm Publishing, and Hannah Langdon for a free ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I really liked this book, the characters and its setting. I only wish that Fallon didn't go back and forth so much about what and who she wanted in her life but it did make Alexander and Fallon's HEA sweeter. I definitely could have used a bonus chapter of Alexander, Fallon and Theo's life after the epilogue.
This book is like a Hallmark movie with a teeny tiny kick to it. It’s not steamy or anything like that, but it’s just not as squeaky clean as a Hallmark movie. There’s pining and romance, a strained mother-daughter relationship, and lots of lovable characters.
Something that made this one a little different than a typical romance is Fallon, the FMC, doesn’t want to be a mother, afraid she’ll be an absent mom like her own mother. So when she starts to have feelings for a single father she struggles with these feelings while trying not to get too close because she knows they could never have a relationship if she doesn’t want to be a mother or mother-like figure.
On the surface, this is a romance, but deep down it’s about repairing a broken mother-daughter relationship, finding the strength to tell a parent how you feel even if they might not like it, and learning that you are not the sum of your parent’s mistakes.
One thing I found strange was that Alexander was becoming Fallon's step-brother and she was not only having feelings for him, but it was encouraged by her mom. The ending also felt a little bit rushed to have the hea ending. But again, I still really enjoyed this book and will be recommending it to others!
What a glorious Christmassy book. Lovely characters, including the dog, and wonderful use of the North Yorkshire moors. I couldn't stop reading it. Excellent
I have thoroughly enjoyed this Christmas romance. It is a very sweet story of acceptance and love. I have fallen in love with all the members of the Knight family and getting to know Fallon and seeing her confidence and self-love grow as the story went on was really beautiful. I've appreciated how the author touched on the topics of abandonment and child/parents issues and how they can really shape a child into the adult they'll grow into. It was tactful and impactful at the same time, in my opinion. It's the perfect feel-good story to get into the Christmas spirit, I definitely would recommend.
This was one of those glorious books where I just didn't want it to end I loved the characters so much I just didn't want to say goodbye to them. Set in the magnificent Yorkshire countryside, successful events planner Fallon, has been coaxed into accompanying her popular actress mother , Jacqueline, to the country manor of Jacqueline 's soon to be husband, Douglas. Suffering from exhaustion and burn out, all Fallon wants to do is rest and recover but is soon drawn into the magical orbit of the Knights. Having suffered from the perceived neglect of a single mum focused on her career, Fallon is scared she lacks the mothering instinct but falling in love with the handsome Alexander Knight and his adorable, sensitive little son, Theo, makes her rethink her life and views. With a supporting cast of superbly written characters, from the delightful to the bonkers as well as creatures both feathered and furred and you have the recipe for the perfect book to snuggle up with on a Winter 's day. Perfection!
Hannah Langdon’s Christmas with the Knights is the cutest holiday season rom com! In it, we find Fallon Honeywood and her sidekick, Runcible, desperately needing rest and recovery after Juuust surviving the holiday party season at the helm of her boutique marketing firm.
Lo and behold, her celebrity actress mom sweeps her up and whisks them both away to the back of beyond to meet her latest boyfriend. Fallon has her guard up, but figures that a free vacation will be lovely, and needed, especially now.
How lovely will it be to get to know her mom’s new boyfriend’s side of the family? To explore the moors alongside Heathcliff, the family rescue donkey. Will this be just what Fallon needs or will this turn into another near-bonding tragedy?
And can Fallon ever forgive and forget all that her mom sacrificed to get where she is? Is she actually just like her mom, at the end of the day?
Thank you to NetGalley and Storm Publishing for this wonderful ARC!!
This book was cute and had all the warmth of a holiday book. The main character working through her own story and family history was well written and really the main story. The love story in the book was ok. Not too romantic and not very intense. However, the main characters were very likable and I was rooting for them the entire time. I did feel transported to the moors in the winter. I would recommend this to someone looking for a holiday book about mother and daughter dynamics.
I loved this story . A perfect romantic Christmas read with a lovely story line. Set in the North York moors. I loved Runcible the dog . The complicated relation between the main character and her mother was a good read. You had two love stories and a cute child. It really really is a perfect feel good read. I could not put it down.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the arc of this book. Fallon the female main character is suffering from burnout from her career. Fallon is convinced by her actress Mom with her to the Mom's boyfriend's estate in the Moors for a month. This book is a light fun story set at the holidays. This book does have some heavier moments while Fallon processes some issues in her life but overall a very light read. The characters in this story are delightful and I was left wanting to know more about Sam, Fallon's business partner. This book does have a good underlying theme of finding a balance between a career and personal life. Overall good read.
Loved this book . Was heartwarming and lovely dealt with things we all deal with on a daily basis that can make life hard but that did not take away from the festive magic of the book. Some lovely characters and well written.
