The Change Ninja Returns : And this time it’s personal. This is a simplistic book on managing change and forging a path forward. It is straightforward, with a measured system to follow. The author uses the example of leaving her marriage, selling her house, buying another, getting back into dating and a few other key events.. Having all this squeezed into one tiny book, all managed and processed by this system just did not sit well with me. I found it rather scripted than personal. Adapted to fit. I think it is a good book to anyone new to change management and young people just getting started in the working world. The lack of fluff and padding makes it easy to understand and process, so it would make a good book to get started with. Not a book for me, but I can see the benefits for many out there.

I liked the practical resources but I think it would have been even more meaningful if I had read the first Change Ninja book before this one. The book is helpful, well-written and easy to see how the tools would apply in the workplace as well as in personal lives. It's a compelling true story which I preferred to books that are written as management fables, and relevant to people who work in change roles, team leaders, project management and other positions where they have to influence the behaviour of others.
