Marisha Pessl does it again! I absolutely loved this. Loved it so much I may have finished work early so I could binge the final 100 pages. This book is addicting. Ever since Night Film, Marisha Pessl has been an auto buy author for me and its because of her ability to write stories like this. Her writing just scratches something in my brain. Its captivating. The story is the right level of complex, that has you not wanting to put it down because you need to understand the bigger picture. There's no filler or fluff, each page means something. It has intent.

This is a beautifully dark YA mystery thriller. A creepy Jumanji (1995). I want to play these games, even though I know I'd be saying "Wander where the witch lies" within 5 minutes.

Gutted I've finished this now tbh.
