Love how this book turns on its head everything you think of fairy tale characters and makes you question all the 'disnified' images of them.
Quite dark in places but realistic in the way the characters act. Loved it

Oh I love retellings of fairytales, especially dark ones, and this retelling of Rapunzel is just great!

I’m struggling with what to rate this! I enjoyed the twist on the fairy tale classics, but found the writing itself a little stale and boring. There was a lot more explaining and info dumping then I expected, especially given how famous these stories are. I also wish there was more focus on the romance and Rapunzel herself, she still felt very underdeveloped as a main character. A mixed bag for me.
