WOW! This was such a gripping thriller! I could not put this down and read it all in one day! This has been a fantastic read!
This book is a wild ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I felt the build up was slow in the beginning but it was necessary. As Aria piecing together breadcrumbs left by her husband and slowly uncovers his secrets, the suspense grows more intense with every page. The final stretch of the book filled with shocking surprises and heart-pounding twists, answering all the questions I have. Very well done.
Thank you for the ARC.
This psychological thriller by M.Q. Webb, propels readers into the chaotic life of Aria, a woman whose seemingly perfect existence begins to fracture as she suspects her husband, Ethan, of infidelity. What unfolds is a gripping story of betrayal, paranoia, and the dark undercurrents of trust.
Aria's journey begins with suspicion—Ethan's frequent work trips, and emotional and physical unavailability fill their marriage with doubt. However, the plot thickens when she finds herself being followed, and the tension peaks with the shocking murder of her best friend, Isla, during an innocent girls' night out. As Aria confronts the chilling reality that Isla may have been killed instead of her, she is thrust into a whirlwind of uncertainty, questioning not only Ethan's fidelity but also the motives of everyone around her.
The novel excels in creating an atmosphere of suspense, with numerous twists and unexpected characters popping-up that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Webb does an impressive job of intertwining multiple storylines, leading to an unexpected conclusion that ties the narrative together. Just when you think you've unraveled the mystery, another twist comes along.
While the complexity of the plot adds intrigue, it can also lead to confusion. At times, I found it challenging to keep track of the characters and how they fit into the larger narrative. This is an aspect that could benefit from some refinement. The book would gain clarity if Webb and her editor tightened the pacing and streamlined certain subplots, which at times felt extraneous. A particularly notable critique is the delayed revelation of key information that Aria hints at throughout the book. While the final chapters do bring clarity, the buildup was frustrating for readers like me who crave more immediate answers.
Overall, the book is a compelling read that explores the darker sides of intimacy and perception. With its exciting premise and intricate plot, it’s a promising addition to the psychological thriller genre. I commend the author for crafting a complex storyline that ultimately concludes with satisfying resolution, and I look forward to seeing how her writing evolves in future works. (3.5 stars)

How Well Do You Know Your Husband by M.Q Webb is an absolute rollercoaster of a thriller and I could not put it down. There were so many twists that really kept you guessing throughout and I just had to find out what happened next.
What starts with Aria questioning whether her husband, Ethan is having in affair soon turns into something far more dark and twisted.
The characters are all well-developed, revealing snippets about themselves and their pasts as the storyline progresses and everything seamlessly comes together at the end.
This is the first book I have read from this author and now I cannot wait to get started on her others. If you want a fast paced page-turner, then this is definitely the book for you.
This book started well, it got me hooked from the start but then went seriously down hill. I found the plot unbelievable and the characters flat, particularly Aria, the main character. She asks herself questions, in her mind, throughout the book, which is very repetitive.
Such a shame as the overall plot is good, but it didn’t quite add up in the end, for me.
Thank you Netgalley for allowing me to read this book.
REally enjoyed this book, all the plots and twist were great. never seen the ending coming. but I would have like to know who really did the warning text messages? not sure we seen all the plot ending yet, it leaves room for book #2 . I read it in a day.
Fictional psychological thriller that will take you on twists and turns of marriage and unfaithfulness both within marriage and friendships. There is murder both present and past and plot twists that occur just when you think you figured it out. Romance is part of the plot but not overbearing.
Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC in return for an unbiased review.
This book started out great. Loved the first chapter from the POV of the stalker and in my opinion the book would have benefited from more of these. Not a 50/50 split, but just a few more sprinkled through the book. It would have made me feel less alone in disliking the FMC. I found her to be self absorbed and ego-centric and I very quickly lost sympathy for her.
I did not find this book particularly thrilling or suspenseful. The FMC is very "me me me" and I very quickly mentally slotted her into the unreliable narrator category and found it difficult to believe that anything suspicious was actually happening to her. Some thriller type action does happen in the last third of the book but it took a while to get there. Most of the threads do come together in the end though there is a major plot hole that is left gaping that in the end I chalked up to the FMC just not paying attention to the world around her because she is so intent on herself. I found this book OK but not great overall.

How Well Do You Know Your Husband? by MQ Webb is a captivating story that begins with an intriguing prologue, building suspense and tension as the plot unfolds. The narrative takes unexpected twists that challenge everything the reader thought they understood, keeping them hooked until the very end. The characters are slowly revealed, with each chapter adding layers to their development. The final twist ties all the pieces together, offering a satisfying conclusion that leaves a lasting impact.
The book grabs you right from the exciting prologue, but the tension takes a bit of a dip in the first few chapters. However, it quickly picks up again, and that’s when the story really starts to stick with you, lingering in your mind until the very last page. The plot is incredibly well-crafted, and as the story unfolds, there are several unexpected twists that completely upend everything you thought you knew. The characters are also well-developed; you slowly get to know more about them as the story progresses. By the end, the final twist ties everything together perfectly, giving a full picture of the story and its characters.
Omg the twist were twisting!!!!
The book was fast paced really pulled you in with every twist and turn, I even started doubting my husband! Can Aria trust anyone in her life?! You will just have to read to find out
What a wild ride! Once I started, I couldn't put this book down. The lies, betrayal, murders & doubts, it just kept coming. Aria was put through the ringer & kept me on the edge of my seat.
Definitely recommend ! And thank you to NetGalley for the arc ebook for my review.
I love domestic/relational suspense books. The classic "the husband did it/is he guilty" trope is so common, yet good, but it can be tricky to find one that grabs your attention and keeps it throughout.
Aria's lucky. She has a good husband. A nice home. A great group of loyal friends.
But Aria has a feeling her husband's out-of-town business trips aren't really that. Even though her husband insists he wants a baby, and Aria is disappointed each month she fails to conceive, there's something not quite right about Ethan. Added to that is the fact that Aria thinks someone is following her. Is Ethan checking up on her, or protecting her after the death of her friend?
This was a quick read you'll want to stick with to the end to find out what happens!
Thanks to NG, TBR Books and Book Sirens for an advance reader's copy.
The best comparison for this style of writing was like a cross between John Marrs and Freida McFadden - characters written in a way that will have you frustrated and a storyline that will make you think you know what's going to happen next just to find out you're completely wrong. Overall this was a pretty good psychological thriller.
This reading was okay; it was also my first experience with the author's writing. It was a quite well-executed domestic thriller from the author. I found the beginning a bit cliché, given that it's a domestic drama. However, as the action progressed, things improved. The plot was solid; I admit that Aria sometimes managed to be a little bit annoying as well. The ending wasn't bad at all. It is definitely a good read for someone who is a fan of the genre, they have nothing to lose.
Thanks to NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review
3.5 ⭐️ to this read! This book comes out 11/18/24 so it was great timing for me to give this ARC a read! Overall it was very fast-paced, easy read and the storyline had me hooked from the beginning. I enjoyed that the story was told in first person and I felt like I was truly following along with the character. About 75% of the way in it felt that the story was becoming a bit fragmented and things were happening all at once, but that was a minor pacing issue. If you’re looking for a quick who-done-it with some drama, grab this off the shelf!
Thank You Net Galley for this arc eBook!!
Honestly, when I saw the book, I was hoping for some great level mystery and thriller. However, to my great disappointment, the book turned out like a typical soap opera. There was no eagerness in me about oh what will happen now. Oh, what a plot twist. No nothing like that. Instead, I felt like I was reading the Ekta Kapoor (a famous producer in India who produces unrealistic and very illogical dramas) drama.
the honest review? I am disappointed. The book is not as interesting as the title.
I read this arc before and I really loved this book that I had to get this again to save to my kindle and re read. I loved this thriller so much!

Very entertaining book. Not a super wow mystery reveal but overall good book that kept my attention. About half through I had some thoughts on what was happening, and I was kinda right. But there were a few surprises.
