“It really is stupid how much I love you.”

This book is the perfect combo of slow burn saucy, a cozy delight and every reason why I love sweetheart comfort books that pull you in and warm my heart entirely.

Thank you to Erin Sterling, NetGalley and Headline Eternal for the ARC of this sweet spice of a book!

I enjoyed every minute of it and would’ve gladly wrapped myself in a blanket while reading it (it’s spring going into summer here) but I still vibed with all the cheeky feels.

Themes are: witchy Gilmore girls, British cheeky, slow burn, cozy, whimsical, Xmas shenanigans and he falls first

With no spoilers, fave moments are:

✨ Blushing Bowen
✨ Fan your face meet cute
✨ Witty emails meets sassy texts
✨ Duchess Annie is goals
✨ I will never look at a bath tub the same
✨ Emerald

I sunk into this book so quickly and honestly read it with the warmest of hearts and a cheeky smile. It was perfect and exactly what I wanted.

The traveling in time is done so well and while there were some minor questions towards the end about some things, none of it took away from the genuine glee in reading The Wedding Witch 🩶

Fave lines are:

“From the moment you walked into that pub. I knew you’d be the making and the ruin of me all at once, woman.”

“There’s no blood left in my brain, Tamsyn.”
“And that’s a big brain.”
“You should see my cock.”

“Stop doing whatever this idea of chivalry is and get in the bed, Bowen.”

Cozy 5 ⭐️

4.5☆

I just absolutely adore these books🥹 I know Bowen is the last brother but I need more of Graves Glen! They are just the perfect mix of wholesome and spicy, fun and romantic. I love the characters so much, and the setting. I want everyone to read them and I want 100 more of them!!

Vivi and Rhys will always be my forever favourites but The Wedding Witch was just as good as the first two books! I was attached to Bowen and Tamsyn straight away.
My one and only complaint was around 40% in, out of absolutely nowhere he decided he loves her?? I get that they've interacted and been in each others lives for over a year but the reader has only been told that, we haven't seen it. We've only actually seen them interact once or twice at this point so it was like wow too much and then every time it came up it would pull me out of the story a bit.
But other than that I had such a great time reading this, these books never fail to make me smile and Tamsyn and Bowen are perfect together. I loved that we got to see a bit of the previous characters and we met new characters too who were so much fun! And the ending was wrapped up perfectly, all the feels

Thank you Netgalley, Headline Eternal and Erin Sterling for this arc in exchange for an honest review.

A witchy book set around Christmas time for a Yuletide wedding... this was definitely different compared to the first two , which are primarily set in Graves Glen. But so glad we get to visit it again.

Bowen was the most elusive brother I'd the three, he keeps to himself and reads books, researches anything to do with magic.

Tamsyn was a blast from the past and so glad we get to see her again. She was a lovely surprise for a love interest.

Their chemistry didn't hit me as much as Vivi x Rhys, however I cam see and feel something there.

My favourite elements of this story was the Accidental time travel and having to parent trap someone's young relatives!.(I don't want to spoilt). We learn a bit more of the Penhallow's family and boy is it adorable.

💚workplace
💚he falls first
💚one bed
💚time travel

To me, the pace was a bit slow.

I hope to visit these characters again in future books.

To me, The Ex Hex will always be a favourite.

I love Erin Sterling! I don't think I've ever read a book by her that I didn't like. I especially loved the first two books in this series. They were funny, they were romantic, they were magical and they were everything a witchy romcom should be. I was therefore really looking forward to this book and impatiently waiting for the book to be released. And then I discovered the book on Netgalley and I was insanely happy that Headline Eternal granted me a review copy!

This book was incredibly fast paced, maybe a little too fast paced. However, this book was also incredibly funny and incredibly cute. I was already giggling during the first few chapters and later chapters only made me laugh and giggle more. These two characters are just so sweet and cute and adorable together! They challenge each other in the right way, they complete each other in the right way and it's clear that they make each other better, nicer and greater people.

The plot of this book is quite a rollercoaster. I don't want to give too much away, although most elements are quite predictable, but I liked how the author gets away with not explaining everything. And that's mostly because there have been more than enough hints about what's going on (That badly that I'm kinda wondering why are hero didn't really catch up with it...) to give me an idea how everything could be explained.

Although this is the third book in the series, it's also really possible to start with this book without reading the previous two. There are of course a few cameos and it was nice to get a glimpse into the future of the characters we've fallen in love with in the previous books, but this story and this romance stands on its own and you will be able to enjoy it without any previous knowledge. I secretly hope that maybe the author will write more books like this in the future!

Oh how good it was to be back with the Penhallow witches. I was a huge fan of Erin Sterling’s The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse and so was excited to read The Wedding Witch, and it certainly didn’t disappoint.

The Wedding Witch follows Bowen Penhallow, Rhys and Wells bearded, hermit of a brother and Tamsyn Bligh, a procurer of magical artefacts, who made her first appearance in The Ex Hex. Whilst Bowen has enlisted Tamsyn’s services to track down magical pieces he is surprised to see her at a witchy Yule wedding in Wales that he was asked to attend by his ghost friend Declan. Whilst at the wedding Bowen and Tamsyn fall foul of the distraught bride to be and find themselves transported back to Yule 1957. They’re at the same castle only this time it’s for the wedding of Bowen’s own grandparents, that’s currently been called off. Can the pair fix the mess they’ve found themselves in and get back to 2024 before it’s too late?

As with the first two books this was an immensely fun read. Sterling has this way of writing characters and stories that immediately draw you in. I loved the wintery Welsh setting and getting to meet a wider cast of characters at the start and then again in the past as their younger selves, along side some other key side characters from the ‘50s. I was especially fond and a little scared of (in a good way) Annie and Emerald. Let’s also not forget our wonderful MCs; Bowen and Tamsyn balanced one another so well, has great chemistry and excellent banter. They were a fab pair.

I really enjoyed the time travel element and thought it worked so well. I don’t want to say much about it so as not to give anything away but it was a lot of fun. The way Sterling brought everything together was brilliant and I’ll admit I had tears in my eyes when Bowen finally spoke to his grandparents.

This was such a great read and definitely worth the wait.

Grumpy, reclusive Bowen is about to be dragged kicking and screaming into a Christmas gathering he'd rather not attend. He and Tamsyn have been in touch for almost a year, her being the finder for all the artefacts he needs for his magical research.

When he takes some time off to spend with his brothers and their families, Tamsyn is tempted to take one last big job. The kind that means she could quit working for Bowen and maybe act on that simmering attraction they are both pretending they don't feel! But things go a tad pear-shaped when she and Bowen end up at the same Christmas/Yule wedding but with completely different missions!

Bowen and Tamsyn are a powerful team. Bowen has all the magic but Tamsyn has the street smarts and ability to think on her feet, which comes in handy when they are thrust through time and Bowen loses his magic! The one bed, trapped in the past, close proximity, boss/employee and Grumpy Sunshine tropes ticked all my boxes and it was a really great read.

There is plenty of banter and a bit more spice than the earlier books. I love a grump and Bowen was grouchy, grumbly and easily annoyed but covered his tender, gooey centre.

I'm happy all the Penhallow brothers are settled but when next for Graves Glen???

This was such a wonderful installment to the series! A witchy time travel romance set around a festive theme, or should i say yuletide!

so if you like a grumpy sunshine, boss employee storyline? you will love this. Even better is that it includes the one bed trope which always is fun!

Bowen and Tamsyn are such fun characters and i liked that we got their story

Highly recommend!

What a total joy! I absolutely love this series, and the latest book is the best yet. The romance is swoony, the plot is pacy and the humour is perfection. Really enjoyed the time travel/ festive twist on things and how we changed location but still got plenty of Penhallow sibling fun. Erin Sterling gets it so right - cozy, witchy fun that never tips over into saccharine, with a deliciously sharp wit that’ll keep you cackling. I would read a hundred of these!

Erin Sterling did it again! I absolutely loved this time traveling romance that reminded me of a happier version of Outlander. It's a great book to focus on with some tea and a blanket in late fall (it's set around Yule).

There's palapabale chemistry between the leads, and I loved the two of them together.
Though I do think a little bit more build up would've been nice. The prologue + excerpts of their communications over a year, didn't quite do it for me. It was insta lust which is cute, but felt a bit off when they were suddenly in love.

The story felt a tad bit rushed, but it was a quick and easy read, and the writing is great as always. There are some parts I felt weren't quite tied up as nicely as they could've been. I loved that a Jones ancestor was involved in helping sort things out, but I'm still a bit confused about the Penhallow's dad, as well as how things changed in the future.

I wouldn't say it's grumpy×sunshine, more like he's just reclusive and awkward, but she's defintly sunshine and quirky. I love the one bed trope and semi fake dating, I want to add there's only one bath to that list now too...

The Wedding Witch the third and final* book in the The Ex Hex trilogy and it sends us back in time to Yule of 1957. This was an anticipated read for me, I really enjoyed the prior two books in this series, so was eagerly looking forward to this one, even more so with the delays.

*I for one see potential for more books set in this world. More Emerald anyone?!

I think this one might be my favourite of them all, it felt the most put together and well plotted and paced…which feels like an incredible feat considering this one includes TIME TRAVEL and time travel is always confusing as heck.

I loved Tamsyn and I loved getting to know more about the man beneath the beard, Bowen! It was also great to see all the family moments. This book was just so wholesome.

The Wedding Witch follows Bowen Penhallow, a reclusive witch who prefers studying magic in solitude, and Tamsyn Bligh, a human who makes a living selling magical items. When they both attend a wedding at a mysterious Welsh estate, a magical mishap sends them back in time to 1957. As they navigate the past, they must uncover the secrets of the haunted Tywyll House while dealing with the growing attraction between them. What begins as an attempt to return to the present becomes a deeper journey of love and self-discovery.

This is an enchanting and captivating story that I couldn’t put down. I devoured the book in less than 24 hours! Though it's part of a series, it works wonderfully as a standalone since the author does a great job of explaining key background events. I loved revisiting familiar characters while also getting to know new ones.

Bowen and Tamsyn make an unforgettable duo. Bowen's transformation from a quiet, solitary man to someone who allows himself to fall in love was heartwarming as well as getting to properly know him. Tamsyn’s bold, mischievous personality added fun and excitement to the story. The romantic tension between them felt natural, and their journey together, both in time and in their relationship, was beautifully written.

The plot is unpredictable, with magic, time travel, and plenty of intriguing twists. I found myself laughing at the funny moments with the Penhallow family, but also feeling deeply moved by some of the emotional scenes. This book is a perfect mix of magic, romance, and humor, and I highly recommend it!

I am so glad we get to go back to Graves Glen for a third time! I adore this series and this was the perfect third book.

I love that we get to find out more about Tamsyn as she was an interesting character. Getting to understand her a bit more and see her on an adventure was great and I loved every minute of it.

Similarly, finding out more about Bowen, who we hadn't been told too much about other than he had a beard and lived in the mountains, was also great. His complicated backstory was heartbreaking and made everything make perfect sense.

I'm typically not a fan of time travel storylines, but this book might have changed my mind! Christmas vibes, a mystery and some spice - what more could you want to make a time travel plot pop?

This is one series that I will happily re-read over and over again while also recommending it to every cosy witchy book fan I meet.

After being a big fan of the previous two books in this series I'm really happy to say this lived up to it's predecessors!

Out of the three books in the series this definitely contained my favourite characters. Both leads were charismatic, sexy and interesting. They had fantastic chemistry and the build up to the romance was handled really well. The side characters were really interesting too.

The plot whilst not overly groundbreaking was still really interesting and had the perfect level of witchy elements to make this the perfect read for Spooky Deason.

This third installment also did a great job of recapping the previous books without being spoiler heavy.

The only reason this didn't quite hit 5 stars for me was parts did feel pretty rushed so I wish it had been a bit longer just to bulk some areas out.

Overall this was a really enjoyable read and I look forward to reading more by this author!

I guess I'm starting my Christmas reads on the 1st October now because the ARC for The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling came in this morning, and I have already binged it! It was an incredibly easy read and I devoured it in about 3/3.5 hours!

Straight away, it did a really good job of naturally recapping the basics that you need to know from the previous two books in the series, so that if you are coming in fresh into the series with this third book, I think it would still work really well as a festive standalone. If you are in the mood for a Christmassy witchy romcom, this one should definitely scratch that itch!

I love the sweary casualness of Bowen, Tamsyn's cheekiness and their banter together. There are some text and email chains between them at the start of the book that had me giggling out loud. The attraction between them was there right from the start and I loved how it built up throughout the story. I'm normally not a fan of insta-love, but I actually didn't mind it at all here. Probably because they don't act on their feelings for a year of in-book time, and it feels like that makes sense given their boss/employee relationship. There's definitely some steamy scenes in this book, so don't read if you're wanting a spice-free romcom. I felt like once these two characters started, they couldn't stop themselves which was actually really funny to me.

The Wedding Witch stood out a lot against the previous two books in the series. Both The Ex Hex and The Kiss Curse were more of an enemies-to-lovers vibe and set in Graves Glen, so I loved that this one took us out of the town, out of the Halloween season, and to a more friends-to-lovers/instant-attraction-but-trying-to-fight-their-love sort of vibe.

My only critique was that there wasn't really any explanation of how things get fixed in the end, it just gets fixed, because magic finds a way. I even went back and reread the last few pre-Epilogue chapters to see if I'd missed any explanation but I hadn't. I still loved this book but I do wish there was a reason given for this, or that the changed world was explored a bit more. That probably lead to a half star reduction of my rating, to a 4.5, but in the end I still rounded up to 5 because I read it SO quick, laughed out loud so many times and felt those 'awwww' moments all the time between Bowen and Tamsyn.

If you're looking for a fun, festive romcom with a dash of magic and don’t mind a neatly wrapped-up ending, this is one to add to your TBR this winter!

I absolutely love all of these Erin Sterling movies. I have had the pleasure of acquiring and sharing them. I am so excited for this new upcoming wedding themed one! I love everything about it and can’t stop turning the pages seeing what is going to happen next. They are fast paced, fun, funny, and full of witchy charm!

A Witchy Yuletide wedding in the Welsh country side brings Bowen Penhallow and Tasmyn Bligh together once again. They’re there for very different reasons but end up having to work together due to a very strong spell combined with a wedding mishap that transports them back in time to 1958. They have to face off with the origins of Tywylll Houses haunting, suspicious witches and somewhere in the middle of all the chaos they might be falling in love. The loner witch obsessed with ancient magic and old artifacts and a witty and outgoing business woman together, who could’ve thought they’d end up together.

I devoured this book in a day, its so different from the other books in the series and I couldn’t wait to see where the story went next. Its a good mix of character and plot driven storylines, the romance, Bowen opening up about his failed spell, Tasmyn looking for the brooch and them working on getting back to 2024. I found the element of time travel is used in a very impactful way by Sterling. Tasmyn and Bowen have amazing chemistry and I literally squealed when the people in 1958 pegged them as newlyweds and made them share a room.

This is one of my favorite romantasy series as someone who’s a big romance reader. It’s not to heavy on the witchcraft and magic of it all which makes it really easy to read. Although it still stands out from what I usually read. The characters are super likable for the most part, there are definitely some villains to root against. It’s spicy, told from a dual POV and has overlapping storylines. Each Penhallow brother has his own book now with some incredible fmcs and i think this might just be my favorite one.

This is a great read for the romance readers who wants to spice things up around the holidays with a witchy read. As well as fans of romantasy and paranormal books.
