Cab Bolton is a great new character from Brian Freeman and the book is full of twists and turns – right up to and including the very last chapter. If you like books that leave you on the edge of your seat and love a little action then you certainly won’t be disappointed with Season of Fear.

Characterisation is on point, some you’ll love and some you’ll hate – a good balance between good and evil! The narration is impressive and the book flows well, before you know it you’ve put the book down for the last time and realise you have to play a waiting game to read the next Cab Bolton episode – so annoying, yet satisfying at the same time!

Brian Freeman has a great track record with his Jonathan Stride series and in Cab Bolton he definitely has a character that is set to run and run.
