I have never read anything by Thomas Guay before so I wasn’t sure how the story would unfold. The book had such a good historical plot with good strong characters and a good story line to keep me interested.. Will keep any eye out for more books from this author.

This is the first time I have read a book by this author, Guay. I enjoyed it so much. Being a history person, I loved that it was a historical fiction novel. The plot and story line, along with characters, kept me interested from the beginning. It had history, adventure, and so much more. I am looking forward to reading more from this author. This had that historical fiction element that I enjoyed a lot and was invested in what was happening to the characters in this world. It had that adventure element that I was looking for and enjoyed the way the story came together. I thought the characters worked well in this time-period and hope there is more in this series.
