Helpful starter for anyone creating reviews on a variety of platforms, some of which was a bit repetitive

This was a helpful introduction to being a NetGalley reviewer. I found the social media guidance to be fairly basic for me personally, not incredibly helpful, but I could see it being helpful to those who are new to social media.

NetGalley’s Social Media Handbook by We Are Bookish is a useful refresher/ aide memoire for anyone looking to develop as a book influencer.

A quick read, I wish it had been available when I started my blogging journey.

Book lovers who want to share their reading with others have a myriad of choices these days, from blogs to YouTube to the ever-changing range of social media sites, and it can be hard to know where to start. Or which site would work best if you want to expand your reach. Never fear - NetGalley has a resource to help you get started.

This colorful, easy to follow guide to social media gives an overview of the platforms available to readers. It includes equipment needed and guidelines to get started quickly, and shows the user how to tailor their content to each site. There are links to click on for further information, which allows the reader to not be overwhelmed with details they don't need. I particularly appreciated the ideas on how to use what you've created for one platform in other places across the internet. There's no need to start from the beginning each time you post on a new site!

For anyone considering expanding into new media horizons but not sure where to go or how to begin, this simple guide will point you in the right direction. It never hurts to try new things, and your next venture may be in here, just waiting for you to start.

Good tips to get started and how to accomplish the thing you want to achieve! Lots of things I hadn't even thought about, and it instantly gave me new ideas on how to be more specific and reach the audience I want.

Extremely useful will definitely be referring back to these tips when using social media for book related things, and potentially even just social media in general as the tips can definitely be applied in other scenarios

Not reading this earlier! After reading this handbook I feel so ready and even more excited to start posting my reviews on social media. This provided so many helpful tips and tricks!

As someone who'd like to start reviewing books on social medias, I am truly grateful for this book. The tips provided are succint yet insightful. I realize that this book is not trying to steer reviewers to certain social medias, but it would be great if there were statistics showing the trends in each social media to help me decide on which social media I should try (or at least difficulty level to reach audience in each social media). I accessed this book via NetGalley App and found a persisting issue that the images and certain texts in fancy fonts somehow did not show on my screen - this happened in all pages til the end. I hope this is just a bug specific to my device, otherwise it will be much appreciated if We Are Bookish can help resolving this issue.
