This was wonderful to help with ideas. I mostly review on instagram and appreciated the broad spectrum of what works well on multiple platforms. As a beginner in using social media for book reviews, I like how this was broken down. How to post, color schemes, audiobooks vs ebooks, and hashtags are some of the points. Most everything is in a dos or don’ts format for clear direction. Highly recommend as a beginner or going back to the basics for refreshers.
Netgalley's Social Media Handbook is an excellent guide for book reviewers. This handbook is a great resource, as there are platform specific tips throughout, which is very helpful as reviewers may utilize several social media platforms! The handbook is very informative for beginners and may be beneficial for seasoned reviewers as well. I'd recommend this to anyone getting started as a book reviewer.

This book is simple to read, and full of helpful advice for those trying to expand their social media presence as a book reviewer online. I found a lot of helpful tips that I will implement across different platforms.
Note: I try to share reviews across multiple platforms, but I could only find this book on Goodreads. It is not available on Amazon, The Storygraph, or BookBub.
This was so very helpful and I appreciate all of the information that was shared for us booklovers. I definitely recommend it for all of us in the book community.
I love that NetGalley puts together these wonderful toolkits to help make us successful. This is colorful, easy to read and understand and very helpful. I’m not sure how to review a toolkit, so I’ll just say, if you’re on NetGalley read this one.
Thanks for this informative guide. I've spent much of the day starting my bookstagram, some great tips here for building an audience , I'll admit some of it is a bit high level for me but I will enjoy playing about with Canva!
Very informative! Lots of info on social networking, do's and don'ts. Printing this for future reference.

Useful ideas to get started with social media for your reading passion. I liked that it featured all the major platforms and offered ideas for each of them.
Simple, helpful, and quickly read!
I've appreciated the recent releases NetGalley has made of Handbooks and Journals that give good tips on several book and review-related subject matter. This latest is the help book lovers develop their social media presence.
Mostly, this handbook addresses the getting started process so existing social media account holders might not find much in the form of new ideas and information. While I'm not new at it, I don't consider myself completely proficient so I was glad to read through and spot a couple items for consideration. Mostly, I was given a sense of confidence because I saw support that I was doing all right with the approach I've taken so far with my various accounts (most was common sense and getting helpful support from the generous book community out there).
All in all, I'm glad there are these helpful guides and I hope they keep making them.
A very useful guide for social media platform-specific as well as general advice about an online presence when it comes to building a bookish community.
NetGalley’s Social Media Review is a must-have for book lovers! Packed with actionable tips for engaging content on every platform. Five stars!
Thank you, We Are Bookish & NetGalley for this extremely helpful resource! This is essential reading for anyone looking to create or grow their social media presence. It is easy to read, answers so many questions reviewers might have, and of course provides easy-to-follow tips for making your account/posts more readable and effective. Even the most experienced and long-time presence will benefit from incorporating these tips on writing reviews and tailoring your reviews to your platform. This is the push I needed to take a look at and update my social media presence.
This is a good general overview. I think it leaves the reading wanting more specific information. That sums up what I have to say.
Helpful guide to social media use as a reviewer. I struggle with posting content and this helped me some.
Thanks for creating this netgalley! A lot of good tips for different review platforms. I would honestly recommend this to anyone who is reviewing books.
Thank you for creating this! I can use all the help I can get with social media. I've given up on Instagram in the past as I just couldn't find a way to leverage it. Facebook... I ramble and am inconsistent. Don't even get me started about X. With some guidance, maybe I can get back on a good track.
Perfect for netgalley members to improve their socials and reviews!
