Another great reference tool from NetGalley. I really wish I would have found this guide prior to requesting my first books but sometimes we have to start ugly vs not starting at all. This guide breaks everything down into simple easy to follow steps and I feel much more prepared to establish my social media presence now.

A pretty good guide with lots of interesting information about how to have a new approach to social media. I learned a lot of things with it.

I loved that this guide had tailored tips for each kind of social media platform. I think the hardest thing I’ve encountered with reviews is adapting reviews for platforms, so I found these tips particularly helpful. This guide gave me a lot to think about out for what I want my social media to look like, and I now feel rejuvenated and motivated to improve my accounts.

Another fantastic guide from We are Bookish and NetGalley. This is a great beginners guide for anyone new to NetGalley and the online bookish space. These guides are accessible and informative and I'm sure everyone can take at least one thing away with them - even seasoned professionals.

"NetGalley’s Social Media Handbook" is like having a social media mentor who’s not only super smart but also knows exactly how to explain things without making you feel like an idiot. If you’re learning how to use new platforms (like me), this book is like a lifeline thrown into the sea of hashtags, posts, and "engagement strategies" that often feel more confusing than helpful.
It’s packed with easy-to-follow advice that doesn’t assume you’re already an influencer with millions of followers (thank goodness). Whether you’re figuring out how to tweet about your latest review or trying to make Instagram your new best friend, this handbook is both practical and refreshing. It doesn’t overload you with unnecessary fluff, just straightforward tips that actually work.
Five stars from me, because it’s exactly what you need if you're serious about getting your book reviews out there in the world without feeling overwhelmed. If you're trying to build a presence on social media, this is the book that makes it all a little less scary.

Offers concise advice on getting started with different platforms and how to create and tag content for each of them. I could have done with more tips on organization but as good as this is, I can't expect it to fix all my issues.

Fab and so useful! Was very quick and easy to read with lots of valuable tips to make your social media presence as impactful as possible.

I have read this. Thanks. Now just trying to clear it from my shelf so it doesn’t affect my rating percentage.

This is an extensive guide for readers wanting to get involved with various social media platforms - Instagram, TikTok, Goodreads, you name it! Not only does it focus on how to weave social media with Netgalley, but it also gives tips to improve your content, boost engagement, and stay organized.
As a new bookstagrammer, I found this very helpful! Based on the handbook's range, even an old pro would be able to pick up some helpful advice. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to get involved within the community, as this is the perfect place to start!

A very good and practical concept.
Easy to fill out.
I’’ve enjoyed the tracking of my reads, and the social media advice..

This is a great social media guide for those who are just getting started. It has lots of great tips. I especially loved the sections on Canva and taking photos!

This was a super simple easy guide to help navigate your journey of reading with social media. It gives you great tips and tricks to use while also giving you other free products to try and test our definitely recommend reading this to help with your social media journey!

Some good resources, a lot of "beginner" info though. Didn't really cover what I wanted to know more about, but I imagine this is helpful for plenty of readers.

Filled with a lot of great tips for anyone looking to start their journey in the book reviewing world. The ever changing landscape of the social media world can be tough to keep up with and this handbook is a nice guide to either kickstart a newcomers journey or to refresh and enliven someone who has been at it for awhile.
For myself I appreciated all current forms of media with links for additional information all located in one spot. There was definitely a few things tucked within these pages that I will be referencing a time or two as the year processes.

I love these handbooks! They are always great at fixing tricks and trips on how use things. This one is for social media and as someone who just started a book time account, this has been super helpful!

Thank you for always creating resources that are so helpful to use the site better and also be an ideal steward of the publishing industry’s generosity. I appreciate your team for bringing this toolkits together

This book seemed very helpful with breaking down different social media platforms & how to navigate each one.

The Social Media Handbook is the perfect tool for book reviewers. It gives fresh new ideas for review formats, photos, key phrases and tips for every social media platform. I am looking forward to revamping my reviews in the new year thanks to this handbook!

This guide was extremely helpful as someone who only launched their bookstagram less than a month ago! While I am not new to writing blog posts or managing social media accounts, I am new to the booksta community, and thus felt like this was a great guide to learning the proper etiquette. I will certainly be saving these tips and implementing them on my account, @moonlightmanuscripts!

A helpful resource for those who are sharing their reading journey on social media. Ideas for posting and reviewing help you to have a place to start for those who are new or starting out with bookish social media.
