This guide was extremely helpful as someone who only launched their bookstagram less than a month ago! While I am not new to writing blog posts or managing social media accounts, I am new to the booksta community, and thus felt like this was a great guide to learning the proper etiquette. I found this very helpful especially since one of my reading and review goals is to be more active on social media. While I always post on Goodreads, NetGalley, and Amazon I know my reviews would go further by using social media. In light of possible TikTok restrictions coming to the United States soon, I will continue to faithfully post reviews on Insta and will strive to post to TikTok while it's available.

I appreciate the helpful hints and tips on utilizing the various forms of social media from book blogs to TikTok. I also appreciated learning so of the reader "lingo" that goes with social media.

As someone new to Bookstagram and posting public reviews on Goodreads, I found this toolkit extremely helpful. I can tell the team that worked on this kit spent a lot of time researching based on how many different sites were featured and the various tips provided tailored to each site. The most unexpected, yet super helpful, tip I learned was that publishers leave recommended hashtags on each book's page. It was right in my face and yet I've always missed it so I'm very grateful that was included! I can see myself regularly referring back to this guide as I build my online reviewer presence so thank you to the NetGalley/We Are Bookish team for assembling this!

NetGalley’s Social Media Handbook is navigational compass for book advocates.

This comprehensive guide covers major social media channels, how to post reviews across platforms, and tips for posting engaging content. My favorite section was the quick overview on content planning and the importance of an organized and consistent approach.

My only suggestion is to name the PDF file the same as the title. Right now it’s a series of numbers.

This handbook is well-organized and full of specific tips, It was mainly review for me, and I used it as a pep talk for branching out to another platform.

My favorite tip was 'Embrace the Flatlay.' As soon as I post this I'm going on a treasure hunt for photo props.

I would have preferred fewer colors and less visual clutter. The friendly vibe is great, yet I find it easier to focus on a clean layout.

This will be especially valuable to people new to NetGalley or unfamiliar with social media and book platforms.

There are links throughout the book to different articles to help the reader make the most of the learning experience. I would definitely recommend this for anyone getting started on their NetGalley journey.
