This handbook was just the thing I needed! I've been reviewing books for over a year now, but I'll admit that my social game has been lacking. Social media has just advanced so much in the last few years that I've found myself feeling lost and overwhelmed. After reading through this guide, I feel a bit more confident in knowing how to effectively engage with my audiences and create attention grabbing graphics. I'll definitely be referencing it often as I attempt to better navigate these online waters!

This was a super helpful handbook to grasp all the essentials for posting book reviews on social media. It contained information for various platforms and was overall quite comprehensive (and not to mention very aesthetically pleasing). Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to review books online.

Very informative - Netgalley has been super useful in finding new books and this social media guide has helped shed light on what some publishers are looking for when approving requests.

So great I'm writing this so it doesnt mess up my ratio :D does it matter??? Not sure sorry. I guess it isn't quite 100 characters....

I enjoyed this so much. I wish I had this when I started my bookstagram. Thanks for the Canva tips! If you're looking to start a new platform for books, read this! Don't be afraid to put yourself out there!

This is an excellent resource for all things regarding social media and Netgalley.
The pages are colorful and easy to follow. For someone like me who knows basically nothing about posting on social media, this is a must have!

A handy guide on navigating social media as a book content creator.
Thank you NetGalley, for providing this copy - it was both useful and informative.

Excellent advice and tips for promoting books on all the socials and book apps! Also great advice for a bookstagram! Thank you Net Galley and We Are Bookish for the advanced copy! All opinions are my own!

Although I am very familiar with content creation and social media, I think this guide was still helpful as a reminder to me but it would also be perfect for someone just getting started with their bookish content journey! Very insightful!

I found this handbook to be helpful and encouraging. I often write formal book reviews for journals and newspapers, but I also have a "booktube" channel where I talk about books in a much more personal way. The discussion in this book of various other social media platforms is quite interesting. Most useful to me were the ideas about how to plan out and schedule posts.

I found this Handbook to be a great resource overviewing the different social platforms available and the considerations to take with each. I especially appreciated the reminder to consider your audience as you develop your book reviews and growth strategy.

This book helped me so much in how to post to my social media all the great books I get to read through NetGalley. This is an invaluable resource. I will be keeping this handy.

A useful bit brief overview of how to utilise social media to your advantage for all things bookish. As it seems to cater to those with larger numbers of followers a d established 'influencers' it wasn't hugely useful to me.

A short and sweet guidebook with practical tips on how to best implement social media platforms to share book reviews on. I particularly appreciate the inclusion of accessibility tips in here. I’d have liked a more in-depth look at building audience via the different platforms, but I also know that the volatility of social media spaces makes it hard to define what works and what doesn’t. The reminder to remain authentic in self-expression and knowing what to look out for when creating posts are helpful, A useful guidebook, especially for beginners or reviewers looking to utilize multiple platforms.

🌟 4 stars ✨
Big thanks to NetGalley for the free copy of this gem! 🙌 Soooo, I’ve been dreaming of starting a Bookstagram or book blog (one day, hopefully!), and this book feels like the perfect nudge to get me inspired. 📸📚
This handbook is a lifesaver for anyone stepping into the bookish social media world (aka future me!). It’s super beginner-friendly and absolutely packed with tips—think content creation, managing calendars, and even sharing reviews across platforms. Oh, and those Canva tips? Game-changer! 📅💻📷
At just 35 pages, it’s a lightning-quick read, but the ideas? So worth it. Even with my social media background, I picked up fresh insights to help me (someday) grow my bookish presence. If you’re looking to step up your bookish game, this is a must-read. 📝💫
Massive thanks again to NetGalley for the copy! All opinions are 100% my own, of course. 😊

This was very helpful because im looking to start either a book youtube or instagram or both so thank you c:

This was perfect to help me out with my bookstagram account. It shows you exactly how to make one, what to include in your bio, and things you can post. I will be using this as a guideline to keep my social media up to date. I will also be using this if I want to make a TikTok and YouTube account as well.

Visual, systematic, and straight to the point. The information is great—I even discovered a few things I didn’t know. I’ll definitely use it when editing my photos for social media.

I appreciated the chance to read this. I think I am meeting all the guidelines. I whole you will keep it available, especially for new reviewers. Thank you.

Social Awareness
A great reminder that you don’t have to have a presence on every social media platform and to stick with the ones that work for you. A solid resource to return to and reference during growth.
I received a free copy of this book from We Are Bookish. I am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions are my own.
