such good feedback about how to manage my social media accounts as a book influencer, I have been using this as like a mini guide every month to plan content

I really liked the breakdown of how to approach different platforms and provide reviews. Some really helpful tips to get you started with reviewing books if you're a beginner, or if you need a refresher!

The social media handbook was helpful for someone like me who is trying to get started with a bookish social media account.

This is a super quick read with lots of great tips for getting started with bookish socials!
One thing I would add is that if you are starting a bookstagram make sure you make a new account from scratch. I made the mistake of transitioning a plant account to being books with plants, and I have ended up with 1000+ followers that are inactive from the pandemic I am now trying to weed slowly enough that instagram wont get mad at me. start fresh, establish your niche, and the algorithm tends to give new accounts a little boost!

Very helpful guide for bookish social media! Lots of tips on how to write reviews for social media and building engagement. I’m sure it will be useful to those that are not already familiar with building social media accounts.

Great handbook on how to post for NetGalley ARCs. I will definitely be referencing this when posting on my BookTok.
5/5 ⭐
Thank you to We are Bookish and NetGalley for this ARC.

I found this handbook to be quite thorough and complete overall! It explores most social media platforms and gives not only tips but detailed instructions on how to best use each one.
My favorite detail is how they mentioned cross-posting ideas across platforms! This really helped me see it in another perspective. Also, I'm glad they included a section on accessibility--again, I learned stuff to make my content more accessible to people.
I give this Social Media Handbook a rating of 5 stars out of 5 for its beautiful pages and insightful take on how to be a better book advocate on social media.
Thank you for this, NetGalley!

To effectively highlight bookish content, start by identifying key themes or quotes that resonate with your audience, ensuring they encapsulate the essence of the book. Utilize visually appealing graphics or images that complement the text, enhancing engagement. Incorporate brief summaries or reviews to provide context and encourage discussion. Leverage social media platforms by using relevant hashtags to reach a broader audience, and consider collaborating with other book enthusiasts for cross-promotion. Finally, maintain a consistent posting schedule to keep your audience engaged and informed about new releases or literary events.
