I downloaded this on a whim -- I didn't think I would get much out of it since I generally only post on Twitter/X but I was surprised it included Twitter. It was helpful in confirming that what I was doing was generally recommended and I also loved all of the tips for people starting out! So yeah this is a pretty helpful little guide

For a complete newbie this is a great how to book to read. For people who already reviewers there are no extra insights to what you already know but this does make out to be a good check list starting point.

This is a great guide full of so many tips and tricks for anyone starting out or even Bookstagram users like myself, who can incorporate some new things to freshen up profiles they already have.

This is a great resource for those looking to start a book focused social media account with great tips on standing out on different platforms. The only surprise for me while reading this was not to tag authors in reviews unless they are 5 stars, most PR firms I’ve worked with have said 4 stars so I’m going to consider this moving forward.

Although I only use IG to post my book reviews, I thought this was a nice, little reminder of how best to utilize the resources applicable to your platform. I learned about the font to use for hashtags (capitalize the first letter of each word, which is not something I've done, so I'll be adding that to my list). I thought the graphics on this were on point and engaging. Great job, Netgalley!

So glad that NetGalley does things like this—it's very helpful. Navigating social media can be a little challenging when you first start out with book reviews, and even if you're experienced, it's great to brush up on best practices.

Lots of helpful tips to get you started. Each reviewing "platform" had it's own, dedicated set of tips.

The title words on each page don't show up clearly (there are letters missing) but don't let that put you off. The content of each page is stellar!
