Really helpful info for posting on NetGalley and your own social media sites! The handbook is easy to read and simple to apply in your reviews.

Great resource for those who post to social media, or have a blog. Includes tips on what to do or not do.
Also mentions some social media outlets I was unaware of like Bookstagram… It is a good read and helpful if you are a social media poster.

I recently decided to start a bookstagram and thought it would be helpful to read this handbook for guidance. This is a great beginners guide to start book reviewing via different forms of social media. It is organized well in an easy to read format. I feel like I already knew a lot of this advice from being so engaged in the online book community already, but there were definitely a few things I found helpful! I would recommend reading through this if you’re considering getting involved as well! Thank you to NetGalley and We Are Bookish for the free copy of this guide! All opinions are my own.

very helpful! i’ve recently started a bookstagram account and i find myself going back to this guide to help me with followers, engagement, and post ideas!

Thank you to NetGalley for providing this handbook. I can forsee it being very helpful when working on posts for my bookstagram and other social media channels!

Thank you to Netgalley for offering this handbook. I am a newish instagrammer and can use all of the tips and tricks.

A quick read and the information is segregated by the different social media apps so that you can just focus on those which you use, while skipping the rest.

This was very insightful and something that helped me navigate having several platforms in which I review books. Had to save this so that I can go back and read when I feel like I’m struggling to create content.

This social media handbook was wonderful! I appreciated all the tips and tricks that were offered, and especially loved all the extra articles linked throughout the handbook. This guide is perfect for both new and established bookish influencers.

This handbook is very helpful. I am grateful for any materials provided to help me promote the books and my reviews. I know I will refer to this handbook often.

This a great review guide for social media. It includes all the big social media platforms with tips and tricks, but also include general advice for reviewing. Definitely handy to have for beginners like , but I also think it's great for inspiration for more experienced reviewers.

NetGalley’s Social Media Handbook is a lifesaver for beginners and veteran reviewers.
It has fresh ideas to keep me up-to-date.
I printed it off to keep going back and revisiting the ideas.
I like hard copies.

Great handbook! Easy to follow and simple for a newbie while also some great tips and reminders for more experienced boooksta reviewers. I am always happy to learn some new tips, especially with the increase in shadowbanning these days using certain keywords or phases!

This is a very helpful and informative guide. I'm so glad I got the email about it anddownloaded it.

Very helpful recommendations for social media from the good people of We are Bookish! Thank you for the opportunity to review and recommend

Thanks for the tips! I really appreciate how it was broke down by different media sites, was quick and to the point

Thank you NetGalley, this was so helpful! I'd love more stuff like this from time to time. It was very useful and helpful as I contemplate expanding from Goodreads and NetGalley to a Bookstagram or BookTok.

I always love the content from We Are Bookish and I feel like it elevates my understanding of how to give good and positive feedback for books, even if the books weren't my favorite.
In this edition, We are Bookish outlines sharing content on Social Media. In the first section, is a brief description of different types of platforms on which book reviews may be shared. These platorms include still images, videos, and text-based social media. What's nice about this is that readers can decide if they want to stick with what they know, assuming there is a thing they know, or explore something new.
The tips section is amazing. The layout of the pages makes it so easy to take in snippets of information at a time, while also having all of the information available in one place. The advice is great for growing engagement with the reading community, including authors and publishers. Additionally, other resources that will help with content creation and polishing are also listed which is huge. I didn't know what I needed or what would be helpful when I first started on Bookstagram, so this is greatly appreciated!
The thing I feel that I struggle with the absolute most in this role is writing a good book review. I used to never recap the synposis because readers can check that on their own. In time, I realized that was totally silly because readers are going to pick a book based on the topic and on the reviews they see. This doesn't have to be, and on most platforms shouldn't be, extensive, but definitely not something to be overlooked either!

I thought this was a very helpful guide. I have thought about getting into tiktok, but am usure if I have the skills lol However I do have a bookstagram that I am trying to get the hang of. So I found this to be truly helpful.

This was a helpful handbook for reviewing on different platforms. I appreciated the overview of the different social media and the kinds of reviews that work best for each platform. I also appreciated the image section. I will use some of these tips for improving my own bookish Instagram account.
