Thanks to #NetGalley and #Bookouture for the book #TheNursesMistake by #DanielHurst. This third installment of the Nurses series is great! There is non stop drama and suspense as Pippa and Darcy, sisters try and navigate everyone’s safety and find each other. Darcy, was in an accident and has amnesia and cannot remember much about her past. But what has she done now? Are the cops about to catch her?

The 3rd instalment of the The perfect Nurse series sees the culmination if the events of the first and second books as Darcy and Pippa are both wanted and on the run. Pippa by herself and searching for answers in her Chicago past, whilst Pippa and the rest of the family are on the run in a secluded wooded area. With secrets, lies and danger lurking in every corner should both sisters just give up and turn themselves in? Maybe this way they can tell the world their side of the story.
This fast paced 3rd instalment in told in a dual POV alternating chapters between Darcy and Pippa.
The writing is very simplistic and plot based rather than character driven. Fans of popcorn thrillers will eat this trilogy up.
My favourite will still be the first book but this one is better than the second in my opinion.
Many thanks to Bookouture who provided me a copy of this book via NetGalley for review. All opinions are my own.

Number one bestselling author, Daniel Hurst, is back with another intense psychological thriller that only he can write. After finishing another installment in the adventures of the killing sisters in The Perfect Nurse series, I’m left with one question. Is this the last we’ll see of the murderous nurse sisters? Only time will tell!

Thank you, Daniel Hurst, Bookouture, Jess Readett, & netgalley for my early gifted copy! All opinions are my own.

I liked this book, but it just didnt grasp my attention the way the first 2 did. Got bored while reading it which was odd for a daniel hurst book. I would still recommend it if you have read the other 2 books

Another “knock it out of the park” for Daniel Hurst! Everything he does is perfection! This is the third in the Nurse’s series and it did not disappoint. Many times it had me on the edge of my seat going back and forth from the perspectives of Darcy and Pippa. Plenty of red herrings to make it difficult to trust anyone who tries to help this family, shocking twists, and a satisfying ending-what more can you ask for. Run out and grab you a copy tomorrow to finish the story. It’s effortless to read and fast paced, full of tension and suspense like only Hurst can do! HIGHLY recommend!

Fast paced and a great story even though I thought some of it was a bit far fetched. I did love it though.
Many thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this ARC

Eek! I loved it. If you are a fan of quick thrillers that keep you guessing but aren't scary, This book is for you. I love a medical drama or book (really anything nurse or doctor related)so I knew I would most likely love this and I did. It kept me engaged the entire time and I read it in a day.

The Nurse's Mistake is book three in The Perfect Nurse series by Daniel Hurst.
This book has all of the mystery and plot twists to keep you on the edge of your seat.
I loved the characters that were all well written & well developed.
This is another enjoyable, entertaining read from Daniel Hurst. I was always interested in how the story was going to play out. The protagonist intrigued me and kept me invested as secrets were revealed. The first twist totally caught me off guard. It was completely unexpected and masterfully written.

The Nurse's Mistake starts is told from the perspective of two sisters, Darcy and Pippa. They are on the run and Pippa, their parents and her husband and child are hiding from the law. This book is a continuation of a series, but I found the storyline pretty easy to follow along as a standalone. It was very tense and there were a lot of fun twists and turns.

Darcy and her sister always wanted to be nurses, as children they would pretend to be nurses to their dolls and stuffed animals. Darcy has made a lot of mistakes as a nurse and suffers from Amnesia from the accident which affects her throughout the story. As a fellow nurse, this book gave me anxiety just imagining being in a situation like Darcy and Pippa are in and what they had to do to save themselves. It made me feel closer to the story.

I found this book to be very entertaining, fast paced and dramatic. There is nonstop action making The Nurse's Mistake a quick read. As the reader, you begin to feel bad for Darcy because you can tell she's a good person that just did a really bad thing. Now she's faced with having to protect her loved ones while simultaneously running from the law! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to Daniel Hurst's other books, including the ones in this series!

Daniel Hurst has done it again. I really want to know how this author has managed to suck me in with every book that he has wrote. Every single book of his that I have read has had me on the edge of my seat, and was unable to put his books down! He has become one of my "automatic buy" authors.

This is the third book in this series, and it may just be the best one yet. This book made me stay up way too late, and put off too many adult responsibilities just to be able to finish it. In this book, we dig deeper into Darcy's past and how she is able to remember more memories from her past. There are twists and turns that you don't expect or see coming.

If you need a book that you can totally get lost in, be prepared for this one as you won't be able to put it down once you start.
Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for allowing me the opportunity to read this book before it's publication date. I can't wait to read more of his books!

3⭐️ Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for an advanced copy of The Nurse’s Mistake.

Darcy feels she has made a mess of her life and she has dragged her family into the craziness with her. She is slowly starting to get her memories back and she is hoping to put the pieces together to figure out how she has gotten to this point. She is on the run and the police are closing in on her. Can she right all of her wrongs before it is too late?

This is the third book in the series and I recommend you read the other two books first. This was an okay read for me because some of the events seemed so far fetched that it was hard to imagine. Also I was not a fan of the ending at all.

WOW The Nurse's Mistake (The Perfect Nurse book 3 of 3) a psychological thrille by Daniel Hurst and finale was absolutely riveting.

Darcy is on the run from the Police and all she has is in her possession is her notebook which is her incentive to be reunited with her family so makes her way back home to Chicago where she may find some clues as to where they are hiding as they too are on the run.

Darcy has flashbacks of her old Professor Wright from her days at Chicago Medical College which leads her to him in order to see if she can garner any information from him which will trigger her memory. Unfortunately Professor Wright is a devil in disguise and has informed the Police of her whearabouts.

As she is on the run through the college Cody who trained with Darcy rescues her but she cannot recall who he is and has to put her life in his hands in order to escape and be reunited with her family.

Darcy's family are hiding out in the woods in abandoned neglected cabins but Pippa her sister feels like they are being watched then she sees a light come on in one of the cabins and she knows that they are not alone as she thought they would be.

Darcy and her family face danger in more ways than one.

The third of the Darcy Miller series 'The Nurse's Mistake' by Daniel Hurst was for me the best of the trio. As a great fan of Daniel Hurst writing, this is the 46th of his books I have read in less than two years I struggled to put the book down and inevitably read it in a day. A brilliant final paragraph that I did not see coming. As I always say the best psychological thrillers leave the final twist right to the end that leaves the reader gasping and wanting more. What is next to follow the doctors and nurses series? Can't wait for the answer.

The Nurse’s Mistake was the best of all three books in the series. I’ve loved all three, but this one definitely kept me wanting to stay up late and read it. It is told from both Darcy and Pippa’s perspectives. We dig deeper into Darcy’s past and she recovers more of her memories. There are a lot of great twists and turns throughout the book and the ending was really good. You won’t want to put this book down, so get ready to stay up late!

Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for the opportunity to read this book prior to publication.

Rounded up from 2.5
This book picks up exactly where the previous book left off, with Darcy and her sister, Pippa, their parents, her child and her husband running from the law, Darcy suffering from amnesia.
And here lies my problem. I did read the previous book in the trilogy, but that was months ago, and since I tend to forget everything I read pretty much as soon as I'm done with it (sorry, authors, it has nothing to do with you), when I started reading this one, I spend most of it completely lost. I remember enjoying the first two books in the trilogy, so maybe if I read this one right after I finished the first 2, I'm sure I would've enjoyed it more. I don't know if that's why I had trouble getting into it, but also I felt like the pacing was off. I need my thrillers to be fast paced page turners to thouroughly enjoy them. This one dragged between some action scenes. I've said it before about Daniel Hurst's books, and I'll say it again: the length of the paragraphs in his thrillers is wrong for me. The paragraphs in a fast paced thriller need to be short for me to really feel the rush. But the story really gets you to thinking: how far will you go to protect your loved ones?
I received an advance review copy of this book for free and I'm leaving this review voluntarily.
