I'm atrocious at setting down, letting what will be BE, and existing within my own life so this was a very helpful read for relaxing! Accepting that life is chaotic and the ideas behind that were invaluable in learning to grapple with anxiety daily.

Reading this book is like talking to an old, wise friend who has a lot of stories to share. It teaches you how to accept things and make the best of what you have. I enjoyed it.

Honestly I didn't really click with this one - it was very repetitive and ended with pretty much the same advice at the end of every chapter: journal, meditate, and try calming breathing exercises. The anecdotes and personal stories didn't really add a whole lot either. As far as self-help books go it definitely falls quite flat.

This book has exceeded my expectations.
The author has immense and interesting life experience and has a lot of wisdom to offer.
When I first saw the title, I hesitated. Then I checked the information in the blurb (any websites, and the author’s bio) and decided to give it a go, assuming if I see a lot of the common sense in most self-help books, this might be one my usual lighter reads.
I found many fresh or well-explained advice and the anecdotes from the author’s life as well as from people whom he knows were genuinely rich.

This was a good read! I did feel uplifted and excited after reading this book. It had a lot of relatable scenarios and examples, and there were ton of tips and tricks, or life hacks as they called them here. It was a good read, I would recommend it!

Thank you to NetGalley, the publishers, and especially the author for this ARC in exchange for my honest review of the book!!
