3.5 Stars! Coffee Break with the Billionaire by Holly Kerr is such a cute and fun read! First off, the billionaire in this story is a woman—yes, you read that right. It’s not your typical billionaire romance with a rich, brooding guy. Instead, we get a smart, successful businesswoman who’s totally rocking it, and it's such a refreshing twist!

The story itself is lighthearted, with just the right amount of chemistry between the characters. There’s flirty banter, a touch of drama, and enough swoon-worthy moments to keep you hooked. And can we talk about the fact that Kerr actually lists out the tropes, spice level, and potential triggers right at the beginning? So thoughtful! It’s like she’s letting you know exactly what you're signing up for. If you're looking for a low-spice book, this one is right up your alley!

Overall, this book is an easy, feel-good romance with a fresh spin on the billionaire trope, perfect for when you want something sweet and minimally spicy without too much angst. Definitely worth a cozy coffee break of your own!

Coffee with a billionaire was a closed door romance. Fenella is sent to Laandia, where her ex and friend is next in line to be king, as requested by her father, to lay low after a terrible break up. Fenella meets Silas, the barista and owner of the local coffee shop. As Fenella spends more time in Laandia, she feels more like herself and also finds companionship and maybe something more with Silas.

This was my first book by Holly Kerr. I really enjoyed the writing and how fast paced the book was. I flew through it and really started to love all the characters and small town.

What initially drew me in was the refreshing twist: the billionaire in this story is the female main character. Fenella is not as shallow as you would expect, considering she is an influencer who dates celebrities. She is intelligent, wants to find her path in life, and has the perfect job in mind. After her boyfriend cheats on her, the media storm makes her choose to relocate temporarily to a small town. There, her love for pumpkin spice latte guides her to the local coffee shop and its owner.
Silas is nothing like her usual type. A small business owner, boy next door who wears flannel and gazes at the stars. He has something special :he makes her feel seen. That's all it takes for her heart to flutter.
The supporting characters also add so much color to the story, providing depth and making the world of the book feel fully alive.
Holly Kerr sprinkles from time to time contemporary details that make you feel like the story is actually happening right at this time somewhere in the world.
I appreciated how the book wasn’t just focused on the romance, but also on Fenella's growth, both emotional and professional.

A sweet romance, though there were a few slow moments that I ended up skimming through. I found myself growing weary of the details about the main female character's privileged lifestyle.

Fenella is a billionaire who goes into hiding after her scandalous breakup. Silias is the local barista who falls for her instantly.

A very sweet rom-com with sweet characters. Fenella and Silas are both likable characters- esp. Silas. He is the ultimate cinnamon roll hero! Really enjoy it.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

I was drawn to this cute cover and I'm a big PSL fan. However, the book's plot and extension of reality just isn't my genre of choice. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

This book is the definition of a feel-good romance, perfect for when you need something light and heartwarming. It’s also perfect to get you in the fall mood. From the very first page, I was hooked by the sweet, fluffy tone and the undeniable charm of the characters. Silas, the cinnamon roll male lead, pairs so beautifully with Fenella, whose journey of self-discovery adds an amazing layer of depth to the story. Their relationship felt genuine and it was filled with moments that make your heart melt.

If you're looking for something cozy to curl up with this fall, this is the perfect choice. It's short, sweet, and absolutely brimming with warmth, making it ideal for a chilly evening with a cup of tea in hand.
Overall, this book is a beautiful, romantic escape that I highly recommend if you're after something light and heartwarming. Perfect for fans of slow-burn love stories with unique dynamics and no unnecessary angst. Definitely worth the read!

It was difficult for me to get into this book. I had seen the series of books and had read and enjoyed some of the other authors books before but not any by Holly Kerr. It appears that there is a tie into one of Holly's other books and so I felt like I was missing a part of the background of the book. Also, it might just be my age but I had a hard time relating to the characters and the "Billionaire Brat Pack" because they didn't care if they had that kind of persona, they just did what they liked. Usually, when I read stories about billionaires or movie stars they try to prove the world that they aren't as stuck up or snobbish as they make them out to be but in this book the FMC didn't seem to care what anyone thought. The other thing that I didn't understand was the town that the story was set in was supposed to be where the royal palace was, but it was a small fishing town but had like a half a dozen bars/clubs? It just wasn't the scene for me I guess.

I liked the MMC, Silas, and thought he was totally sweet and a cinnamon roll but he felt a little stifled. I almost wanted him to have a moment where he felt like he could leave the town and go on an adventure with Fenella. I did love their starlight scenes and how in those moments they would be open and true to each other.

Overall, if you like a reverse billionaire story with a cinnamon roll MMC that runs a coffee shop with some bar hopping scenes with a royal family and billionaire brat pack, you'll enjoy this book.

This is book seven of the Cinnamon Rolls & Pumpkin Spice series!

Also who doesn’t like pumpkin spice?! Silas—we must change this immediately!

Fenella, a daughter of a billionaire just dumped her rockstar fiancé because he cheated and she did it publically, causing her father to send her on a “retreat” in a Canadian country where she has an ex as a prince. Don’t worry, they’re just good friends now! But she meets Silas (again) at his coffee shop he owns and immediately is drawn to the nice and kind boy. Throughout the book she discovers herself in a new light. Shes not just the billionaire brat that everyone views her as. And Silas learns this about her too.

Fenella discovers that there’s more to the quiet life than meets the eye. She learns to love the “boring” country and decides to make changes to it too. She also falls in love with a type she’s never tried before. Nice guy. Golden retriever guy. Silas.

Silas has had his own hurt throughout the years with people leaving him behind. Once he meets Fenella and they become friends it’s harder to deny his attraction towards her. But he knows she’s just another girl who has a WAY better life than being with a poor man. He tries his hardest to keep away from Fenella. But he might cave.. He shows Fenella what life could be like if she stayed here. They stargaze together, carve pumpkins (how cute) and he even helps her grocery shop and learn how to cook.

This book was a fast read but the most cozy read. It has no spice, but the book is written so cute that I still loved every moment of it.

I received this as an ARC from NetGalley. The opinions I expressed are my own.

I am totally in love with this fluffy romance read. It was cute and soft all throughout the book, and I really love how it had little to no angst. It was such a perfect, relaxing read.

Silas is the cutest cinnamon roll MMC, and I love his pairing with Fenella. Plus, Fenella's growth as a person in Laandia was such a good thing for her. I just loved them, and I loved Laandia and the people around them, too.

Overall, I highly recommend this read if you're looking for something fluffy, romantic, and slow burn ❤️ So worth the read!

Cute fall cozy read. It was short and sweet as I LOVE my seasonal books to be. I loved having the girl be the billionaire for once, it was a nice change of pace. It was him teaching her all her firsts of like- life and adult rather then just he spoils her type of billionaire romance. I loved that it felt new and different which can be hard to find with the seasonal romances, people use what works. I felt this was amazing to curl up with on a chilly day with tea and just- feel nothing but fluff and good vibes.

Will be posted goodreads 9/28 and instagram 9/29
