I really liked the idea behind this book but the execution was a little lacking and I had hoped for more after reading the other book by this author - The Emotions Volcano
The illustrations were ok but I have seen better in children's books and as I said with my review of the other book by the author, they need to be eye catching to get noticed in such a full market where there are so many books to choice from. I found that the images needed to be more clear and sharp.
The story itself was good and I liked the way that they showed the anger emotion. There is plenty in the book to use as talking points to discuss how a child is feeling and to work through situations where they find themselves angry and struggling to cope with their anger.
It is 3 stars from me for this one
An angry robo vacuum in Space? Sign us up. My preschooler is obsessed with our vacuums, robots, spaceships, monsters… this book was right up our alley.
It’s a little difficult to give a fair review to an 8 year old. This is an amazing feat by such a young creative! I hope they continue to share their gift for creativity and writing through the rest of their life!
We absolutely loved the concept and the illustrations. Both kept our attention and engagement! I wish there’d been more with the vacuum himself, but that’s because my three year old wanted more pictures of the mad vacuum!
This book could use some additional editing. It would really help it be a smashing success for this young author.
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
