Another wonderful read from this author. Smart, funny, irreverent and so much more. I am a sucker for a story about successful healthy friendships and businesses without subterfuge and backstabbing to get ahead. When the VP asks Ann and Rhoda a favor, they begrudgingly agree there is always some trouble from his asks. They have worked way too hard to grow their business. When they have two guests who require anonymity. Easy peasy right ? Haha, the best laid plans. I really enjoyed reading this book and am looking forward to book 10 in the series. So often as a series goes on I lose interest. Now I keep hoping this one goes on forever. And yes, Ive read almost her entire catalog already! Try them. I promise you wont regret a moment.

I was excited to see another novel from one of my new favorite authors.
Wonderful characters as always and the storyline was a take me away kind of beach read. I didn't want to come back! I'm still thinking about these characters! Rhonda made me drool with her cooking.
Keim's books are wonderful and I look forward to reading each one.
I love the challenges these women face and this is what keeps me turning the pages to see if they work out.
Sometimes they'll make me laugh and sometimes leave me shaking my head.
I loved every minute of this story and the bit of romance made me happy. Keim does this well.
I'm giving this novel 5 stars because I really enjoyed this. I finished it in one evening it was so good.
Please keep them coming. I really do enjoy your novels!
My thanks for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.

Great story, Judith has brought us back to the Beach House Hotel. Ann and Rhonda own and run the hotel. This is the ninth book in the series. No worries, you can read them as standalones. A lot of people are repeat visitors from prior books. I'm not going to rehash the story. I'm sure you already read the blurb...Just going to say I enjoyed this book.

**Nightcaps at the Beach House Hotel** by Judith Keim

I have always found great enjoyment in Judith Keim's delightful series set at the Beach House Hotel. Each instalment is filled with intriguing events, allowing readers to reconnect with the beloved characters we've come to know and love throughout the series. This particular book is a charming addition that complements the collection beautifully, and overall, it offers a light and enjoyable reading experience.

In this story, Ann and Rhonda find themselves in a precarious situation when they receive an unexpected request from a high-ranking vice president. She needs their assistance in providing a private space at the hotel for a well-known nighttime talk show host who is currently facing a crisis. Although the opportunity seems promising, Ann and Rhonda can’t shake their lingering worries; after all, whenever they’ve lent a helping hand in the past, trouble has inevitably followed.

As they unwind with nightcaps in hand, the pair settles in to watch Darryl Douglas’ talk show, discussing their decision to allow him to rent one of the cozy guesthouses on the property. Coincidentally, at the same time, their cherished daughter-of-the-heart, Tina Marks, is staying in the adjacent house with her personal trainer, Abbie Hathaway, which adds an exciting layer of complexity to the unfolding events.

Their plans take a dramatic turn when Darryl’s ex-wife unexpectedly shows up at the hotel. Her frequent appearances escalate tensions, resulting in a series of mishaps that jeopardize the hotel’s reputation. Faced with these challenges, Ann and Rhonda must rally together to navigate the chaos and protect the integrity of their beloved establishment. The struggle not only tests their resilience but also strengthens their bond as they work tirelessly to restore order in their beautiful beachside haven.

Nightcaps at the Beach House Hotel by Judith Keim is about women helping other women become successful. They do this without jealousy or listening to rumors. Instead they give each person a chance to shine.

Another great read from Judith Keim! No matter the season, there’s always something fun and interesting going on at The Beach House Hotel. Come meet friends, both new and old…sit down for lunch, dinner or a nightcap. You’ll want to come back time and time again.

Ann and Rhonda are busy as ever and have some new challenges coming up for sure. There are people staying at the hotel and this will cause problems for sure. This is such a sweet read with drama, romance and just heartfelt goodness. I have enjoyed each of these stories in this series and this might be the best one yet! Looking forward to more adventures with these ladies.

I always enjoy Judith Keim's series at the Beach House Hotel. There's always something intriguing going on and we get to catch up with the characters we've met over the life of the series.
Nightcaps at the Beach House Hotel felt like a lot of the same except for the death that happens. There was Brock being annoying like usual, walks on the beach, sailing, a few guests had to stay at the Hotel owners house to get them away from a problematic guest and Rhonda and her match making. All fun , a quick read and as usual I look forward to the next one.

Thanks to NetGalley and the Publisher for allowing me to read the arc.

Another request (veiled demand?) comes from the Vice President to accommodate a tv personality at one of their guest houses who is in need of privacy. Ann and Rhoda, owners of the exclusive Beach House Hotel, do their research on following through on the possibilities of security issues and privacy of all guest if they agree. Thus begins another adventure with the two best friends. I felt the pressure heightened in this story of the ongoing series with issues of their nemesis who is determined to learn the identities of the persons currently occupying the houses, a scheduled wedding which has all the signals of being cancelled, an unwelcome guest in addition to their lives as wives, mothers and grandmothers. Their skill in being adept in listening to people and their problems, between duties between each other in times of emergencies makes one wish one could stay a guest and become part of their family friends. Thanks to NetGalley, author Judith Keim, and Wild Quail Publishing for an advance reader copy of this book; this is my honest opinion.

Life is a soap opera and this story is filling all the requirements. The story surrounds the Beach House Hotel and the owners and guests of which many become friends or enemies of the owners. Lots of characters and does help to have read previous books.

Nightcaps at The Beach House Hotel is the ninth book in the Beach House Hotel series. Once again, Judith Keim has given the readers a wonderful story from start to finish! This book will delight fans as well as any readers that are new to this author! Each book in this series can be read as a stand-alone. However, I recommend reading each book in the series because every subsequent book is a bit like going home and catching up with old friends while making new ones at the same time!

Ann and Rhonda know that whenever a request for help comes from the vice-president, trouble is sure to follow. This time, the request is to help Darryl Douglas... a nighttime tv talk show host that is in trouble... and allow him to stay at the hotel for some much needed privacy. They need to think it over and decide to watch his show while sipping on some nightcaps. After talking it over, they end up allowing him to stay in a guesthouse on the property... next door to the other one being occupied by the actress Tina Marks. What could possibly go wrong??

The story that unfolds is one thing after another for Rhonda and Ann. Of course, they expected some trouble, but now they are concerned because the hotel's reputation is at risk! Will saying yes to the favor by the vice-president be their downfall, or will they somehow get through all of the crazy obstacles thrown in their path? One thing everyone knows about Rhonda and Ann is that the words "giving up" aren't part of their vocabulary!

I absolutely loved Nightcaps at The Beach House Hotel. I'm a huge fan of the author, and especially this series, but even this book caught me off-guard with the constant craziness Rhonda and Ann have to deal with. I was completely and totally drawn into this story and, at one point, wasn't sure how it would play out. I honestly can't stress enough just how wonderful this book...and series...truly is!

I was given an ARC by the author. My views are my own and are in no way influenced by anyone else.

I have been missing Ann and Rhonda and everyone else at the Beach House Hotel. They always welcome new people they meet into their lives.
This one had a lot of them having to face and conquer things that happen. One of the biggest problem people is Brock, he is the president of the neighborhood association and is always trying to find out who is staying at the hotel. One of the biggest things Ann and Rhonda stick to is when guests stay at the Hotel they are sure of the privacy they are looking for.
This book is part of the Beach House Hotel series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but you will enjoy each book in the series.
Thank you NetGalley, Judith Keim and Wild Quail Publishing for the copy of Nightcaps at the Beach House Hotel. This is my personal review.

First, thank you for the ARC. Second, yay!!!! This book is like coming home again. The characters at the Beach House Hotel just come to life. I didn't want it end and can't wait for the next visit with the "hotel family."

Rhonda and Ann have built a wonderful business at the Beach House Hotel. They are known for outstanding rooms, food, service, and perhaps most important to many guests, discretion and privacy.

In this book the women do their best to keep their famous guests' visits enjoyable, while ensuring their privacy. While juggling important guests, they are always happy to do what it takes to pull off weddings that fulfil the dreams of the bride and groom. If it means smoothing out ruffled feathers, they do that, too. Often times they build personal relationships with certain guests and have long term relationships with others.

They know how to deal with a nosy local individual and how to deal with unfortunate circumstances.

This series is a continuing story, but each book can be read and enjoyed independently. I always enjoy catching up with the goings on at The Beach House Hotel.

It was nice to visit with Ann and Rhonda for the latest installment at the Beach House Hotel. It's a nice, face paced read. Can be read as a standalone or in chronological order.

What I really enjoy is that these women have created a perfect hotel environment - ocean front, great food, top notch accommodations. Of course, there is always drama. We are treated to old friends and new friends in their latest adventure. As successful as Ann and Rhonda are, they are always down to earth. The fact that they treat everyone like family, makes their hotel even more special. The president of the neighborhood association, Brock, is back to try and wreak havoc but ends up in trouble himself, once again. He's not the only troublemaker who makes an appearance.

Thank you to NetGalley and Wild Quail Publishing for this advance copy. I really enjoy it and am looking forward to the next one.

Nightcaps at the Beach House is part of a series about two women, Ann and Rhonda, who own and manage the successful Beach House Hotel. The hotel has earned its reputation for offering celebrities, politicians, and other high-profile guests a safe haven from the public eye and the media. The story focuses on their latest challenge when the Vice-President asks them to rent a property to Darryl Douglas, a popular nighttime talk show host. Despite some hesitation, they agree, only to be faced with complications when Darryl’s ex-wife, a notorious publicity seeker, unknowingly checks in and begins attracting unwanted attention.

In addition to keeping the ex-wife away from Darryl, Ann and Rhonda must also deal with another unruly guest and the pressure of managing their usual hotel responsibilities, including hosting weddings. On top of all this, they are juggling their personal lives, striving to maintain a balance between their work and spending time with their families. The novel showcases the strength, resilience, and warmth of these two older women as they navigate both the business and personal challenges they face. Fans of the series appreciate how the author highlights the importance of family and friendship throughout the story.

I enjoy this series so much. Rhonda and Ann own the Beach House Hotel and there seems to always be some adventure to their guest visits. Brock is the busybody neighborhood president and seems to think he can make decisions on everything without any power. Enter some difficult guests, some unexpected situations, and you have another great Beach House Hotel story. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion. Don't miss out on this fun read!
