Firstly, a big thank you to NetGalley and Mills & Boon Afterglow Books for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This just isn’t for me, way too many characters introduced so early on, the words just don’t seem to be going in??? not sure if it’s just a me problem but i’m just not invested/bothered at all sadly, feels like i’m wasting my time

this was unfortunately quite disappointing; I was rooting for the couple but the grammar, book layout (like separations between parts that didn't need to be separated) and more were a let down. he wasn't a bad boy, so calling him that throughout was really cringey.

I haven't read previous books by this author but I definitely will in the future after reading this!
It was a fun read and it had tropes I like in a romance - small town romance, second chance. Definitely a book I would recommend

I loved this ended to the trilogy. Cute, well written, fun and engaging - I love a fake romance/reunited - a great story.

3.5 stars
This was such a cute, light-hearted and steamy ending to this trilogy and I have to say it was definitely my favourite out of the three! I really liked Poppy, who we got to know throughout the last two books, but I liked getting to know her more and learning about her relationship with Alistair.
I'm not always the biggest fan of second chance romances but this one reminded me what is so good about the trope. Watching the two reconnect and deal with the struggles that originally ended their relationship really helped me connect with them both more and was an absolute delight! I'm so glad Poppy got her happily ever after!
This series as a whole has been a fun, relaxing and steamy experience. I loved how fast-paced these were and I recommend if you are looking for a quick romance!
Thank you so much to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

In this second-chance love story, tea shop owner Poppy Kitchener's life is thrown off kilter when her reformed jerk of an ex-husband Alistair Miller shows up out of the blue with an offer: fake still being married for his cousin's wedding in return for resolving a business problem. Soon enough, those old feelings start to bubble back up, and they both have to figure out if they've changed enough to give it another shot.
What I Loved:
The chemistry between the main characters
A good mix of romance and the aftermath of personal growth
A truly non-toxic second chance
Sensory writing (lots about smell and taste)
What I Didn't Love:
The fake married trope was a fleeting premise, not the centre of events
The technical tea and brewing info can get a bit detailed
Would have preferred true flashbacks instead of remembrances
This book is perfect for anyone into second-chance romances, cosy small-town vibes, and stories that show the real challenges of becoming a better person. Based on the cute cover it might seem low spice, but this was at least a 4/5, possibly 5/5.
Thank you to Afterglow Books and NetGalley for providing a review copy of this book at no cost, and with no obligation. I am reviewing this book voluntarily, and all opinions are my own.

I just wanna say 'moon fairy' 🥹
I love the bond between Poppy, Liberty and Sera the little witchy trio made this book so light hearted the romance was just the cherry on top (and all the steamy bits 🤭) I very much jumped into this not knowing it was book 3 so I will be going to read the others and maybe give this a reread later on. Kathrine if there is a 4th on the way I NEED it!
Thank you to Mills & Boon and NetGalley for the opportunity to read an advance copy.

The third book in the Wicked Sisters series is a tender, wistful second chance romance between Poppy and her ex-husband Alistair, which sees them reunite to give him the chance to right the wrongs of their past.
One of the best aspects of second chance romances was at the heart of this book: getting to know how the other one has changed and grown since they split up. Ali was a well written reformed bad guy and I liked him a lot more than I anticipated. I appreciated how much he respected her and his resolve to treat her better than he had during their marriage, which avoided becoming overly guilt-ridden in a chest-beating melodramatic way.
The series revolves around the friendship between Poppy, Liberty, and Sera. I enjoyed reading about how their bonds and relationships to femininity manifest through their spiritual practices - a unique element of this series which I have found to be very interesting! This book also contains a lot of information about brewing and fermentation which was educational, albeit somewhat superfluous.
I have loved every book in this series and would definitely recommend it to other romance fans.

Poppy and Allistar are divorced. Estranged and out of touch until Allistar appears one day asking Poppy to pretend they are married for a family wedding. The catch, by doing this Allistar has promised Poppy that his family will look to exchange a competitive business deal to fix the time that they screwed her over.
Poppy seems to be over Allistar until he reappears in her life and starts to question everything. It seems from the start that Poppy is not over Allistar and while she wants to keep him at a distance, this is done with difficulty.
I wasn’t a fan of Allistar at all he was a massive ick for me! I was rooting for Poppy to be strong and not to let him woo her over.
I loved Poppy’s friendship group, they were everything the story needed. The friendship element of this story was my favourite.
This was a cute second chance romance, the chapters were easy to follow and I liked that they weren’t long.

this book is so sweet i love it!
the way the characters are written is honestly amazing. i love the way their relationship is written.

As I hadn’t read the previous novel and ,therefore, the back story, I found the storydifficult to get into at the beginning, I persevered and eventually found it a delightful love story. I don’t think I needed to know so much about tea though! It’s an interesting story to fill a dull weekend!

I loved this book it was the perfect amounts sweet and charming. I loved the characters especially as the grew throughout the book.

I think that the writing has potential but unfortunately the characters and the story were too bland for me to continue on.

Rather like the tea that Poppy brews, this series has steadily improved as it’s gone on. Poppy and Alistair’s back story has been hinted at in previous books and their second chance does not disappoint. It’s a finely drawn tale of character growth, and not just because many people change a lot between their late teens and the cusp of their thirties: much of Poppy’s development stems from the fallout of her youthful marriage, and Alistair especially has done the work to be a better person. The way they reconnect is very well written, with a realistic mix of caution and second-guessing all underpinned by a strong physical attraction that has never gone away. There’s also plenty of the friendship between Poppy, Sera and Liberty and updates on the relationships for the latter two, which makes for a nicely rounded and satisfying conclusion to the series.

This is the third and final book in the trilogy and follows Poppy and Alistair as they see if there is anything left of that couple now they are divorced and have some distance. Alistair is the bad boy of the title and yet there is none of this in this book, he is reflective and relatively calm although still madly in love with Poppy. The book moves between the United States and the UK with a celebration and worship of the moon happening on both sides of the Atlantic. Poppy tries to stay true to herself and it is once again her friends that help her be grounded and see the future she wants her terms. The ending is never in doubt, but how they get there is worth a read..

This was a really charming and fun read with great characters. The journey between Poppy and Ali was truly heart-warming and I loved all of the supporting characters as well.

The journey this relationship took felt so real. It didn't feel like riducolous plot points were being thrown in at every turn to bring some turmoil to the relationship. It actually felt like a couple trying to heal and work through past trauma from their relationship. Both MC's had matured and developed in very real ways from their previous marraige, and I actually found i could relate to them. They were real people, with real hobbies and real families/friends which made the story feel whole and complete.
None of the characters overreacted and every conflict felt like it was dealt with in a mature and realistic way. It made me actually want to keep reading and I didn't find myself putting the book down and taking a break out of frustration with the characters.
I loved the journey Poppy and Ali went on, and I truly fell in love with each of the supporting characters and their effect on our main characters. As someone who hasn't read the other books in the stories I think I will make time to go back and read the other couples stories. Pickle stan for life!

Different take on the genre with the 2 main characters having been married to each other before, divorced and then back together. Felt strained at times and didn't always flow but a solid read.

I want to start off by saying this didn't read like a final edit. There were a lot of typos, markings indicating unfinished thoughts, abbreviations (obvs instead of the full word), and many formatting errors (words being split apart by extra spaces, lines being cut in half, pages and bolding out of nowhere, etc). The writing was polished in some part, but very inconsistent overall. There were also quite a few contuity errors or things that weren't explained properly (they got married at 18 but also after uni, marriage ended 18months ago, but also only 6 months after the wedding, but they've been apart for years and now somehow they're all grown up now, and more).
I have no problem reading about people with different spiritual beliefs, however I was left confused and frustrated at times, and I'm unsure if that's due to my own personal bias I was unaware of, or due to failures in writing. This was not fanatsy magic, but more spiritual Wiccan Magick based, but also not a book about magic. And I got tired of hearing about the feminine power that suddenly appeared part way through the book, very quickly.
The story itself was cute. I love a good second chance romance. While Ali was clearly the main adversary in their previous attempt at a relationship, I'm glad they both relaised they had their own responsibility in the failure of their marriage and had both intentionally grown since then, and it was clear they still cared for one another. And things didn't simply get better with no help this time around.
As with almost any time a niche subject is brought up and focused on in books, I struggled with paying attention to the tea/kombucha/beer brewing discussions, but it was clear they had their own passions now and were different people now. Though I would have preferes for said descriptions to have been more entwined with the story.
Overall I think it just wasn't for me and it has promise, but it's not quite ready yet to be released.
