Halleluiah for no third act breakup! Multiple POV's but it is a very well rounded book instead of it becoming distracting. Part of a "series" but is fine as a stand alone.

I couldn’t really get into this story. I liked Dex, but I lost interest after they became married and Lennox started to irritate me. I didn’t really feel invested in their story, and although I enjoyed the letters Dex’s grandma had written, it took me a while to finish it because it wasn’t for me.

I loved this story, the built up tension between Lennox and Dex and how they had this pent up emotions. Seeing their true love blossom was so cute. I also loved Dottie’s story!

However, the novel does have its weak points. The plot, while enjoyable, doesn’t stray far from the expected beats of a marriage of convenience romance, and some of the twists—particularly around the corporate drama—feel underdeveloped or too easily resolved. The pacing also falters slightly in the middle, with some repetitive scenes that slow the momentum.

Themes of self-discovery, trust, and the blurred lines between love and obligation run throughout the story, adding depth to what could otherwise be a straightforward romance. The protagonist’s determination to prove herself in a male-dominated industry is especially empowering, though I wish the book had dug deeper into some of the corporate intrigue and power dynamics.

A marriage of convenience between two friends which quickly turns romantic. I liked the main characters, Lennox and Dex, you could not find to opposite people than these two, but their friendship made sense. When Dex's grandmother, who was a delight, passes away and he has to return to the family business and get married Lennox fits the bill. The stakes quickly change and you see the personal growth of both, especially Lennox who has never had faith in herself, but rises to the top as she faces resistance from multiple adversaries.

I'm not normally one for a billionaire romance but Dex Hessler isn't like the other billionaires! I enjoyed this book and the electric relationship between Dex and Lennox. The dual first person POVs made me feel like I was in their heads and immersed me into their feelings.

I appreciated the connection they had through Jacob and Dottie and loved the couple of chapters from Dottie's POV. I also felt than Lennox was so relatable as a person in her 20s trying (and often failing) to find the right job and the right person while trying to also take care of the people in her life. The intimate scenes were very hot and demonstrated the deep and undeniable connection between Dex and Lennox.

It was difficult to watch Lennox walk into the traps of manipulative industry people because it seemed like everyone but her was aware of the figurative sharks in the water. And it was mind-boggling to me that Dex never sat down with her to have a conversation of "don't trust these people" even after the second or third time she feel into those same traps. Despite enjoying the lack of third act break up and make up in this book, I was craving just a bit more tension between Dex and Lennox at points.

All in all, however, I found this to be a passionate and sexy love story between two people who were compellingly written and a story that kept my eyes glued to the page. I'll certainly be tuning in for the next installment!

I enjoyed this one. It was a great second book in the series of standalone. I enjoy the body positivity and character growth. The character are so lovable and I love their romance development.

While this book was off to a strong start to me I feel like once they got married it all went downhill for me…especially the honey part.

I really enjoyed the concept of two friends denying their feelings so they could have a true friend but then Dex needed a fake wife and all gloves come off. The insta love was a little too much for me. And while I get it can’t technically be classified as insta love it was just too much. And I don’t like the person Dex became once he was married. The Miami version of him was not what I wanted. I didn’t understand why he wasn’t more suspicious of Denny. I didn’t like how he went off the rails at work just to find out it was Lennox and then everything was fine because she didn’t know better…she didn’t know better because Dex was never around.

I’ve read other books by the author and enjoyed them, this one however just missed the mark for me.

I originally picked up Snapshot because its eye-catching cover drew me in—a habit I often indulge in towards the end of the year when I seek out fun and lighthearted reads. As this was my first Kay Cove book, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I found the overall experience enjoyable.

The story follows Dax and Lennox, a couple whose blossoming romance is both sweet and entertaining. Their love story unfolds in a picturesque setting that feels vibrant and alive, almost like a character in its own right. The plot explores themes of self-discovery and connection, with a few unexpected twists to keep things interesting.

One of the highlights for me was the supporting cast, who truly stole the show. They brought a delightful blend of charm and humor, adding depth and creating a sense of community that made the book's world feel real and inviting. Dottie, in particular, stood out. Her backstory, seamlessly woven into the main narrative, added an emotional layer that resonated with me.

While the book has many strengths, such as likable characters and an engaging setting, the pacing felt uneven at times, and some plot elements were predictable. However, the enjoyable dynamics between the characters, both main and supporting, compensated for these minor shortcomings.

Snapshot is a feel-good romance with heartwarming moments and a wonderful supporting cast. Although it wasn't a perfect read for me, I'd recommend it to fans of charming romances with a touch of emotional depth and vibrant side characters. I'm eager to see what else Kay Cove has in store!

I love a romance where the main characters begin as friends and end up together. Kay Cove has constructed an equal parts sweet and steamy marriage of convenience romance that had me laughing and pulled at my heart strings. Dex is going to take the reigns of his family company sooner than later, but his wise grandmother tells him to take some time to be on his own and pursue his passions first. She also hopes he might find a nice lady to fall in love with, as well. Lennox is your typical lady in her 20's, doing whatever she can to pay her rent and trying desperately to not be broke, much to her dismay, her roommate ghosts her because the FBI is looking for her. Thankfully, Dex proposes...literally. A deal that can work for the both of them. He doesn't fully warn Lennox of the massive undertaking she'll take on as the company's new CEO for a year.
Snapshot was sweet and funny and I loved that the characters actually DO speak to one another when issues happened and worked together to fix it. Also, the betrayal storyline was a good one and I adored all of the family secret. I really enjoyed this novel and hope for more.

Cute story of extremes meeting, only to discover they have more in common than they thought! Lennox (or Trouble as Dex calls her) and Dexter manage to get into tangles and then, miraculously, survive them by working together. Loved the story and it was a great change of pace for me who usually reads historical fiction. I received an ARC but my opinions are my own.

After reading camera shy I loved falling straight into snapshot! I didn’t feel this as much as camera shy but still loved it!

I loved this romantic story. The poor girl meeting the billionaire. I loved the romantic pace. Dex is a dream come true. He is so attentive to his girl friend needs. That should always come first. Kay Cove has a brilliant pace when it comes to narrating the story. This is my first book by this author, but now I am going to search out other books. I read this book in 3 sittings - thats very fast pace for me, considering I have a super packed life.

Snapshot is a perfect blend of friends to lovers leading to marriage of convenience.
I really enjoyed reading especially the friendship part between Dex and Lennox leading to their attraction. The end however I felt rushed when they confess their feelings esp when the friendship between them was described at length.
Nonetheless it was quite entertaining and an enjoyable read.

Lennox is the down and out woman who loves paycheck to paycheck, and just lost her job, her boyfriend, and her apartment. Dex is the future CEO of a big name cruise company, who has been living a double life in Vegas, pretending to just be a dive shop owner, taking people out on scuba excursions. When Dex is faced with a forced marriage situation, he calls one of the only women he actually trusts not to run to the tabloids to spill all his secrets.

The romance parts were nice. The business aspects were actually interesting and decently written. The steamy scenes were INTENSE. And kinky. And felt so open-door that they were voyeuristic and sometimes a little too much for be, simply because it was just... very explicit.

Going into this book, I got the impression from the cover that it was a let me teach you something about life book, but then the blurb gives sweet romance vibes. This turned smutty real fast and I was unprepared.

It's all fairly well-written. Outside the bedroom, it's really good. Inside the bedroom, it was... a lot.

This is the second book of a series, and I was so excited to read this after reading book 1. Unfortunately this just wasn’t it for me. Maybe my expectations were to high and I let myself down. But I much preferred books 1.

I do love Coves writing, its aways so easy to read, but I just didn’t connect with this book.
