What a clean and romantic romance story it has been. Got a lot of suspense and ended in a super drama too. I would certainly recommend others to read this book and surely they won’t be dissatisfied

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Thank you, to NetGalley and the publisher, Victory Editing Netgalley Co-Op for the opportunity to read this book.

As someone who has worked in the theme park industry for 15 years, I was so excited about this book! Unfortunately, it fell flat for me, and I ended up rating it a “2 stars.” If it were not such a short book, I probably would have DNFed it. This book may be great for someone else, but there were just too many inconsistencies and misinformation in the book regarding theme parks in the central Florida area (including the unionization processes) and it was too much to salvage the book for me.

Reading this book was, like its title, was a bit of a rollercoaster. There were some ups (the unionization focus of the story was interesting, and I enjoyed Dirk’s subplot!) and some downs (the romance was very underdeveloped, the hurricane completely irrelevant to the story, and oof the writing needs some work.) I’ve enjoyed Moseman’s more recent books, but this one was a miss for me.

Cute and enjoyable romance, a fun lighthearted read that I thought was entertaining and kept me turning pages

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this book.

The premise was interesting, and the cover / title is great, but the writing just didn't hook me; I had to keep pushing myself to finish it.

Many thanks to Kate Moseman, Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op, & Netgalley for providing me with an ARC.

In this fun new romance novel, readers travel to the world-famous Destiny Park where Vanessa has taken a management job to oversee the quirky employees who operate the rides at the theme park. One operator for the mine train and haunted house, Thomas, is actually working undercover as part of a unionization plan, and conflict with Vanessa is a one-way trip to being fired and failing to unionize his coworkers. However, the chemistry is undeniable, and Thomas and Vanessa must deal with their workplace challenges before entertaining the idea of a relationship, and things are not going to get easier. Including a series of fun tropes at this clever and unique theme park setting, fans of rom-coms will enjoy the emotion and chemistry built into this novel that Kate Moseman has created. The other minor characters do a great job in supplementing Vanessa and Thomas’s romance and their respective jobs at Destiny Park, so readers will definitely enjoy following the romance and the workplace storylines in this fun and light-hearted romance novel. With surprisingly high stakes and some fun obstacles in Vanessa and Thomas’s way, readers looking for a seasonal and heartwarming new romance novel will definitely enjoy this book.

Roller Coaster Romance
3.5⭐️

Publication date - 2nd December

* Dual POV

* He Falls First

Vanessa’s new job is a highly coveted management position at the world famous Destiny Park. To succeed, she has to impress the big boss while simultaneously managing the crew of quirky employees who run the rides. She didn’t plan in one of them stealing her heart… in between operating a mine train and a haunted house, Thomas is working undercover to unionise his fellow employees. But he isn’t prepared to go head to head with a new boss while falling head over heels for her. She’s everything he wants - and everything he’s fighting against. Will love find a way, or will this romance run off the rails like a runaway mine cart?

This was a quick, fun and quirky read. Definitely a pallet cleanser book. I read this book within a few days and would recommend to some people.

The to mc’s were okay, nothing special about them. Felt like sometimes the chemistry was a little forced between them. And the storyline got a little boring at times and a little repetitive about the unionisation of the employees. I also felt at times the book was a little rushed and there was little to no character development.

Overall, the book wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t great.

Thank you @netgalley for sending me an early release in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing an eARC of this story, this is my objective review. Vanessa is a newly hired manager at a Florida amusement park. (As a Central Floridian, it was fun to spot similarities between this fictionalized version and a certain IRL theme park.) Thomas is a park employee who is secretly working to unionize the park workers, much to the unhappiness of the owner of the park and upper management. Attraction grows as they get to know one another, but will the unionization concerns keep them on opposite sides? Workplace romances aren't usually my thing since I get bogged down in worrying about potential HR pitfalls, but this book had some of those going on already and it was easy to get past that. There was a satisfying thread of tension with the union issue, which also lent some much-needed tension to Thomas and Vanessa's growing attraction to one another. I liked both Thomas and Vanessa a lot as characters. This quick read was a light closed-door flirty romance with humorous elements and a satisfying conclusion. It was actually a little too light for me but was written engagingly enough. I gave it 3 stars but it was closer to 3.5 stars.

Roller Coaster Romance is a quick contemporary romance. I loved Vanessa and Thomas and the idea of the plot.

The story wasn't bad but it just fell short. I wish we had more depth of these characters (backgrounds and descriptions) and more body to the story. There didn't seem to actually be much romance between the mcs.

A fun short read set in a theme park. Vanessa is a manager and Thomas is an employee trying to unionise the rest of the employees. I liked how it was told from both points of view and how it makes to think more about workers rights.

Vanessa was the manager of Destiny Park where Thomas was an employee. There were management and employee problems and unions forming with some humorous relationships between the employees. The setting of the book was enjoyable to read about, but there wasn't really much romance in my opinion.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Spice: 👻 (bc there was one kiss)

Listen, the nostalgia I had for family Disney vacations while reading this was STRONG. Vanessa gets her dream job as a manager at Destiny Park, but she’ll have to navigate a heated environment where workers are trying to unionize and tensions heat up with her employee Thomas.

I loved this world, and I *LOVE* workers’ rights!! Unionizing is hot! The romance is secondary to the story for sure, but oddly I was totally fine with it because I love a unionizing story.

If you loved dreamland billionaires series then you will love this book! The romance was so cute and I couldn’t stop reading!

As a past Disneyland Imagineer, I absolutely loved this! What a wonderful setting for a romance and I think this was SO MUCH BETTER than Lauren Asher's Dreamland Billionaires trilogy (which I personally thought was such a waste of time). This was what I'll suggest instead of that. What great fun!

Thank you to NetGalley for this eARC in exchange for my honest review.

This book was about a girl who becomes a manager at a theme park. She walks into the role during a lot of turmoil. Will she find love and help the employees too?

Unfortunately, I didn't love this book. The adorable cover is what drew me in, and the title was a lot of fun. I think this book has a lot of potential, and could be great.

The writing was confusing more often than not. It felt like it flipped back and forth between 1st and 3rd person. The romance was pretty non existent, and the book felt unfinished in parts.

I'm glad the author allowed me to read the book, and the premise is cute. I just didn't feel that the book felt finished.
