I really wanted to give it four stars or more, because I think many people might like this book just as I loved the first two books.
.
But for me it is a big block not to be able to connect with the characters, I just adored and loved Emmet, my heart is completely with him and I would have wished the whole world for him. I couldn't connect with Madyson, since the second book I felt that I didn't like her, that she made everything about her and in this book I didn't like how Jayce and Emmet were functional to her.
.
I would have loved more romance. But in this series, although there is romance, a large part is the representation of situations and conflicts that many people can go through, and how they deal with that burden while trying to find their place in the world and their person.
.
The angst, the misunderstanding situations and the rivalry between the characters play an important part in the relationship between the characters and the steamy scenes are very steamy. So if you are a fan of love stories that have you hanging by a thread and praying that the characters meet and love each other like in a great love story as they find their place in the world, this mmf romance is for you.
.
I don't know if I can say much without spoilers, I am very passionate about my books. But it is a series that I highly recommend.
.
Thanks to Heather Leighson and her team for give me a copy of this book in exchange for my honest and voluntary opinion.

I was excited to read this book because, as a gay man, I love MM romances. This books is NOT a MM romance. It's a MMF bisexual romance where the overwhelming story arc of the book is sexual attraction and activities by men focusing on a woman. How is that MM romance? It's not, and never should be labeled as such. The MM aspect of the book is an afterthought with a secondary story arc.

Misrepresenting the book like this will result in lots of DNFs and returns, and I would be one of them if I had purchased it. While I commend the author for writing the book, I cannot give it a good score or recommend it to people looking for MM romance.

I want to thank Net Galley for the ARC!
Okay wow! This book was hot! There were a lot of heated scenes in this book! Madison, Emmett, and Jayce have all came from different places in life with different challenges. I loved how they all came together and helped each other out. They blended together so perfectly. This is an MMF book, which usually isn't something I read, but the story was good.

This is the third book in the MM Unframed Art Series, and my second to read. This book features a MMF throuple.

The books in this series tell the stories of how different couples who are in the same basic network get together. The characters in this book were in the previous books and this book continued to have the characters from the previous books in it, even though they were no longer the focus.

For this book, it is Madyson, Jayce, and Emmet’s time to shine. We get a lot of background on each of the characters, and see how they come together. I enjoyed reading their stories and how they overcame the challenges they encountered.

There is a ton of spice in this book (and series), so if that’s your thing, these are the books for you!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher/author for this copy of the book.

The Truth of Our Secrets was another amazing addition to the Unframed Art series.

These mcs have some series character growth. Each of these characters have a pretty intense background story and although none are exactly the same they connect over their pasts so well. The author handled the more sensitive parts of this story with care and respect.

This book catches you off guard with how emotional it is. As each character accepts how the others help them all three become so emotionally whole. Their love is palpable and as they fall they fall hard. Madison, Jayce, and Emmett care so deeply for eachother.

Heather Leighson has once again delivered a stunning tale with The Truth of Our Secrets, weaving together a tapestry of love, pain, and healing that keeps readers on the edge of their seats. This FMM romance is a masterclass in character development, layered secrets, and sizzling chemistry.

From the moment Emmet re-enters Madyson’s life, the tension is palpable. His transformation from a needy teen to a complex man grappling with his past is both heart-wrenching and compelling. The emotional stakes are high, and Leighson navigates the intricacies of love and jealousy with finesse.

Jayce's protective instincts clash beautifully with his own feelings for Emmet, creating a deliciously tangled web of desire. The push and pull between these two characters is electric, and Madyson's unwavering commitment to forge a path for all three of them is inspiring. Their journey towards forgiveness and understanding is both poignant and relatable, showcasing the healing power of love.

Leighson’s writing shines in her ability to create steamy, heartfelt moments that deepen the connections between her characters. The spice is off the charts, but it never overshadows the emotional core of the story. Each intimate encounter feels like a necessary step in their shared journey, adding layers to their relationships rather than just being sensational for the sake of it.

The return of beloved characters from The Truth of Our Past and The Truth of Loving You adds depth and continuity, making it a treat for fans. The blend of hockey, angst, and raw emotion keeps the pages turning as we root for this trio to find their way to happiness.

In short, The Truth of Our Secrets is a beautifully crafted love story that explores the complexities of relationships and the healing that can come from facing the past. Leighson has solidified her place as a must-read author in the romance genre, and I can't wait to see where she takes us next!

This book blew my mind!

Heartwarming, funny, romantic and so spicy!

Each character has their own story but yet come together in the most beautiful way.

The message that this book gives off is, love is love regardless of sexual orientation. Love is unique, love is beautiful and worth the sacrifices you might have to make along the way!

Be prepared to blush, laugh and cry!

Three people with extreme negative baggage - abuse, neglect, assault, manipulation - battle their obstacles to be together. Complex multiple sub plots keep things moving and keep you guessing. Very heavy on the spice, takes up most of the book, so for adults.
