I found this to be a little difficult to get engrossed in, but as I continued to read I did get more into it and in the end did enjoy it.

I loved this premise, in which two people who think they don’t want to go on somehow contrive to prey on unsuspecting men through “honey traps.” With one character a Ukrainian refugee, the book seemed much set in the current state. It’s a dark and twisted tale which makes you question the morality of people’s actions, even when they are desperate. The author did an amazing job in portraying the despair which brought the two together and I think it was quite brave to present their cases in such an interesting way. The writing style suited my taste, so I was absolutely glued to the pages,

A well-written, edge-of-your-seat thriller that will keep you up reading past your bedtime. Two strangers meet on a bridge, and hatch a plan that leads to no good. The characters are great...dark, funny, a must-read. I enjoyed it and think you will too. Jump on this!

Two suicidal strangers, failing actor Owen and traumatised Ukrainian refugee Becky, postpone death on a bridge to honey-trap men. They make easy money. Until they reach Manchester. A blackmailer dies on Becky in a hotel room. Owen steals the dead man’s identity to con a quarter of million quid from a brain-damaged hero’s trust fund. His impersonation is good, but doesn’t fool a cynical cop, or the deceased’s crazy self-harming granddaughter. Putin’s pals are in the city too, demanding the blackmailer’s sex-pest list with menaces. Can Owen and Becky rediscover their humanity before they drown in a sea of corruption and criminality?
Definitely an unique plot. I think it worked really well. Cannot wait to read more from the author.

This was a strong crime thriller novel, it had that feel that I was looking for and enjoyed from the genre. The characters had that feel that I wanted and loved the way that I was guessing. It was great to have a positive element to it and was glad I read this. Andrew J Field was able to create a great story and I wanted more.
